Well......I just miss my tacos and I know i needed to eat some but the other popular place was closed. We saw the line going outside so we decided to wait. The wait was 30 minutes plus add more to get your food. OWNERS-please hire more staff or be present. It is difficult for one person to be the cashier, getting drinks, answering questions etc. no wonder there is a long wait. There is only one cook and one waitress so a total of 3 people handling it on a busy Sunday night. Kudos to the staff but not to the owners. The staff was great! 5/5 The tacos were great. 5/5 I loved the decor inside. They are small so I would order more than you think. We stopped in Tiki Taco down the street from where we stayed while in Madrid and it did not disappoint. We got Tinto de Verano's and they came in fun big cups & tasted delicious. Our kids got Jarrito's which we love, their flavor selection was great! We got a few tacos that were 1 euro each and can't be beat for the price, and we also got the guacamole which was pricey compared to the tacos (7.5 euros) but it was amazing! Delicious CHEAP tacos in several locations around Madrid. My son who has been here 2 months has talked about Tiki Taco many times and we finally got to enjoy with him recently. You line up (sometimes outside I hear) to order from the bar/cashier. Most options are €1 with some a little pricier. All served on corn tortillas with hummer meat and fresh, crisp toppings. Once you order and it they will point you to seating and bring your food (in less than 5 minutes!) Expect to use MANY napkins as these are juicy little bites. I can see why my son loves this easy dinner option as a student in the city. (Only took off 1 star because as an "old person" I thought the ambiance was a little off. lol read more

Cheap 1€ tacos in Madrid!! Usually has long lines but the wait isn't TOO long. You pay in the front and then sit somewhere inside. They bring out the food within around ten minutes. Definitely order more than you think. my three tacos were gone within three minutes. My friend is vegetarian and although there are lots of veggie options (about four 1€ types), my friend said they were ok. Each 1€ taco is about two bites but still delish. The tacos here were INCREDIBLE! For the food itself this place definitely gets 5 stars, however the line to order was disorganized, took forever, not a lot of seating. The ambiance itself was very cute, definitely a good spot to eat, but don't recommend going in groups over 5 or 6 people. They also have good vegetarian options, I tried all 3 of the vegetarian tacos they had and loved them all and had to get more! Fair warning, it's super cheap however the tacos were pretty small. If you want your stomach to do a happy Flamenco dance then Tiki Taco is your place! And what a dance... there are reasons for long lines waiting for a taste of their delicious food. My cousin and I found this place by accident: we wanted to dine again at Mercado Anton's Mexicatessan but it was closed. We walked around the corner and heard lively music, eyed Spaniards and tourists sipping vino and cervezas and dining on small platters of yummy tacos. As we awaited our table, we scanned menu QR code and reviewed scrumptious options tacos( skirt steak, Pulpo, tongue, cactus, zucchini, pork, chicken), quesadilla, guac and chips.. we wanted to try it all! The waitress asks if you want bebidas or food; we stated, "Si, both please!". We found a small table and took turns ordering: Margaritas and Sol beers, both delicious. We tried the following tacos: Chicken Tinga, Skirt Steak, Chicken Alambre, Mushroom and Queso and Zucchini. You give your name and waitress serves your food but you pick up your libation. I loved the Mushroom and Queso, cousin loved Skirt Steak. The place is cozy, clean and hopping. The service is wonderful, friendly and fast. The only drawback is if you want to order more food, you have to go back on line, thus, it means leaving your table, joining line and ordering more food and hopefully finding a table. Tiki is small and seating is limited. Believe me, you may think you've ordered enough however.... you don't! The food is THAT delicious. We loved this place so much we returned pre Museo Prado visit. I like the fact that this place serves tiny tacos for cheap, since I usually want to have a little bit of everything instead of a couple big things. The tacos here are maybe 2/3 the size of your typical Socal taco stand tacos. They also have a decent drink selection. The interior was clean, modern, and cozy. You won't need to wait in line if you go during USA dinner hours, since the locals tend to eat dinner much later. My sister, her boyfriend and I came to Tiki Taco the night before we had to leave Madrid to go back go New York. We came pretty late during the night, around 40 minutes before the store was closing and felt a bit embarrassed to even order but the crew was very accommodating. There were several tacos that weren't available understandably because of the late hours we arrived however from the ones that were available the tacos we chose were delicious. There was no menu in English but we still managed to order since our middle school Spanish did us well. We ordered a variety of chicken, carnitas, beef, and chorizo tacos and also a quesadilla. We also ordered horchata and tamarindo beverages to drink. The tacos are smaller than your average sized tacos back in the states (think of two bites and you've finished the taco). Regardless of the size, the flavors are there and pretty damn amazing. I don't mind the smaller sized tacos given that the tacos are made with flavor and quality (and so should you!). Tiki taco serves up great vibes and even better tacos. If you're tired of Spanish tapas and need a break from all that; tiki taco is a solid option for your eats. read more

Not every day food. But it's enjoyable. My only issue is, can you believe that the table I sat in had a bench seat, the table next Had two regular chairs. I swapped one chair so I could be comfortable. The waiter made me get up from the chair Only because my table is only allowed to have the bench seat - the the chairs could not be swapped because they have to match. She actually told me that I could not swap the chairs. When One person sat at the table, I asked him if I could take his chair. He said yes. I was safe until he left.
