Great little local taco shop with delicious tacos . Smaller menu . Cold refreshing drinks and friendly staff. This small local taco shop is super trendy and welcoming .

Tacos - carnitas and cochinitas
Marivic L.

Was walking around aimlessly in Madrid and decided to stop in. What a cute place with the most friendly staff, especially my server, Ole. The tacos were delicious. The meat was tender in both and I liked the cochinitas so much that I ordered a second one. The green sauce also made it even better. If you go downstairs, it's such a wide open space - totally unexpected, and decorated simply but well. That is where you can hang out with your fam and friends comfortably, If you're in the area, stop in. You'll be very happy you did. Great food, service, atmosphere and low prices.

I ordered tacos. Really enjoyed them and tasted authentic. Service was quick and friendly. Place was small and quite. I was there on a Wednesday. The place was practically empty when I arrived. Surprised that no one was there. People are missing out on the authentic Mexican food.

Lunch special

Went to the Paseo de las Delicias, 14, Arganzuela, 28045 Madrid restaurant. Had the lunch special and ordered a second since it was so good!!! Service was fast, friendly and in English!!! We sat outside to people watch but there were was a nice small dining room as well.

We came for dinner on a very busy Saturday night where all restaurants nearby had a huge line outside but we got very lucky when we came into this restaurant. This restaurant is a little off the main street (I believe it's Gran Via) and it's a cozy yet fun restaurant. We got the guacamole to start with which was delicious, and I got a tamale and one of the veggie quesadillas and my fiance got 2 quesadillas and the secret taco which we're also very tasty. Our waiter was very welcoming and nice, and even gave us 2 shots of their margarita that we would have gotten if we hadn't already been drinking all night. It was a busy restaurant but our food still arrived pretty quickly and it definitely hit the spot. The prices are also extremely reasonable which is impressive for their great location and food.

Wow what a gem in Madrid! This place is amazing simply put! We arrived just for some snacks and some drinks my husband was on the search for a Michelada and we found this place. I ordered a pina colada he got his drink and kids got their drinks super fast. We ordered some nachos, tacos and flatutas. Food was out of this world amazing hot fresh and so much flavor! We were the only people in the restaurant at the time and our server was great checked in on us and so did the chef not sure if she is the owner of this restaurant but she was great ! The seating is a little tight but it's like that everywhere in Spain so far. I can't say enough about how great the food was !

3 quesadillas de tinga de pollo 1 taco de pollo mole

Basic taco place. Good for simple, tasty, non-fried late night eats (open until 1am) -taco de pollo mole: on very small corn tortilla (~3inch diameter). Good amount of chicken for the tortilla size. Mole is mildly sweet but very flavorful. Would highly recommend. -Quesadilla de pollo tinga: flour tortilla about double the circumference of the taco. Medium amount of filling. Good, clean flavor.

Array of tacos

Nice variety of cheap tacos. My favorite was the rey taco and the carnitas was slightly disappointing. Good options for drinks. Very casual place for a quick bite and nice environment to see a friend or two. Service was quick and efficient.

Chips and tuna dip

My boyfriend and I came here looking for a cheap, easy lunch and were pretty disappointed by this place, sadly because it got really good reviews on TripAdvisor and thought we would give it a shot. We got the tuna dip appetizer which was good, but definitely was just canned tuna with some added tomato and onion and hot sauce. The chips that came with it were straight from a bag from the store. Our tacos came out and I really disliked the chicken mole one, it was pretty much just a pile of mushy sauce, couldn't really find the chicken and I didn't like the taste. The pork ones were ok, but nothing special. I was sad about this spot because it seemed like a little authentic hole in the wall, and the gal working seemed sweet. It was definitely cheap, only €14 for 4 tacos and the tuna dip dish. However, I have had much better tacos and was pretty underwhelmed with the food here.

I never really complain and I know they are busy but he was for sure not he took his sweet time taking our order..would walk away when we would try to ask to order we spoke Spanish so I don't understand why? Anyways wouldn't go here ever again wouldn't recommend any one to go. They didn't even bother to remove the plates when done . Hope they can improve

Carnitas, margaritas and tamales were all good. Chicken and mole tacos very dry. Sauces were outstanding especially the green sauce.

After trying all manner of tapas, this was a refreshing change. I'm so glad I've had authentic…read moreMexican food in Mexico and in Detroit's Mexican Town many times so I know how good it can be. Santita stands with the best Mexican food I've ever eaten. To start, it already stands out from every other restaurant I've visited in Madrid because of his beer selection. Instead of ordering Cerveza, and getting the one beer the place has, you have nice choice of Mexican beers, served in a bottle. Negra Modelo, one of my favorites, was among them. Margaritas are small, but cheap (5€), tasty, and potent. Guacamole is creamy and robust, served in a stone mortar, as it's traditionally been made for centuries. The tortilla chips are thick, and not particularly salty, but they're a perfect pairing to start the meal. Please, please order the Los Ignacios...the most perfect Mexican pizza you'll ever have in your life. The description on the menu says "our version of the traditional nachos". For Americans, this evokes tortilla chips with melted cheese, onions, and peppers with low grade meat. Here, you get a thin, crispy crust layered with pico de gallo, cheese, beans, guacamole, meat...yes, similar ingredients in crappy bar nachos, but so, so much better. Tacos are tiny discs piled with meat. The tacos de pollo (chicken) is covered in a rich crema, with small pieces of lean chicken breast. The tacos de chochinita had a massive mound of marinated pork. All had pickled red onions on top. My wife didn't like all the crema, but I did. The pork was excellent. The burrito de pollo was massive and suitable for sharing (though our friend didn't want to share). It has excellent rice with the chicken. We had tried to order a side of rice previously, and we were told it couldn't be ordered separately. Not sure why that is, but this is a great way to get it. Yes, we were stuffed by then. No, we didn't stop ordering. We closed with coconut ice cream, which was pretty standard, but the margarita ice cream? Wow. It's a scoop of ice cream that gets a shot of tequila dumped on it. The sweetness balances the tequila beautifully. Service was also excellent. We ordered a few rounds of drinks (lost track of how many...oops). All the things we ordered set us back 93€. What a great way to experience authentic Mexican cuisine.

I had no idea it was Mexican food when we first walked in and thought what's the big deal since I have Mexican all the time in the U.S. Boy, was I surprised! They did such an impressive job of combining such a variation of flavors and bringing them all together in each bite. The food was something I would expect from a top-level chef. We wanted to eat everything on the menu and really wish that we could have done so. A simple taco was such an incredible taste experience. Whatever they used to create that flavor fest was just delicious. Wish I could go again!!!
