Loaded Street Fries (I'll get these again for sure!)
    Krystal J.

We dined in for taco Tuesday deal. Not gonna lie this is probably the freshest Tijuana I have ever had The street corn fries were fantastic. I love street corn , so if that's your thing I'd give it a try. It's not a huge portion but just enough that we shared. Churro fries with the chocolate dip sauce were cool . they had a deal on them for $3 and added them on. I'd get them again but maybe wait til you're done eating to order as ours got cold while we ate , but still enjoyed it.

Love Tijuana Flats! Today we went to this location that we haven't been to in awhile. Their hot sauce bar was very enticing (super cool mural and setup) and I am a fan of their new little to go sauce containers with a flip top. So cute! My go to is always a salad and it never lets me down. Gotta get it with avocado ranch dressing! Service was fast and the workers there checking on us were super helpful. Their queso is the BEST. It's sooo addicting.

Dude! This place rocks! I was able to order a vegan taco by ordering a hard shell, black bean no cheese, no sour cream. It came with a pile of chips and I added a small salsa cup. All this food plus a white claw was only $10 what! It's an awesome deal and oh so tasty!!! I'll be living here from now on. Seriously though, dot't let the fact that this place is a chain change your mind on coming here. It's great.

This was my first time trying this place, decided to come during my lunch break because I saw it had good reviews on Google. I can say that it was really good and tasty. Will definitely come back and eat again.

This Tijuana flats is in a prime location right next to the Planet Fitness on Lake Mary Blvd. On the weekends, it is usually a decision between Tijuana flats, Chipotle, or Moe's for the after workout lunch. This restaurant has never let me down so far. And today was no different. I got the chicken burrito with black beans and all the additional vegetables they can fit in there with a side of guacamole ($10.71). As usual the burrito was spot-on! The only thing that I would recommend is that they keep their chips warm. Even though the chips are fresh, there is nothing better than a perfectly seasoned batch of warm chips. The restaurant was clean and all the staff were super friendly. I love the decorative interior and photographs. It makes the ambiance quite entertaining. I will be back for some more Mexican goodness in the near future.

    Taco Tuesday special!

A go to spot for Taco Tuesday. Always get the queso with the chips and blackened chicken tacos. Tortilla needed to be little warmer but other than that usually is a hit for Taco Tuesday.

I don't think I've ever given a one star review but our takeout order just wasn't good at all. We ordered chicken fajita tacos on a Tuesday -- this was possibly our mistake as they weren't included in the taco Tuesday offer and I assume not many people were ordering them as a result. We live about 10 minutes from the restaurant. When we got home the tacos were cold -- not lukewarm but cold. The tacos also seemed short on filling. Even the chips seemed stale. The service was fine but the food simply missed the mark. At $25 for three portions (no drinks) it also seemed expensive for what it was.

We have some favorite staff there including the always present and hardworking manager, Morse. Kaitlyn is also a fav of ours. Even when she's not our server she always comes over to say hi. The hostess, Tamia, was in the process of cleaning it but still took a moment to acknowledge us and let us know she would be right with us, which I appreciated. While we waited, more parties came in and the line quickly grew toward the door. There were other staff members nearby, but no one stepped in to help seat guests or manage the wait, which made things move slower than expected. Once we were seated, it took a while for our waiter to come to the table. The hostess actually came back to check on us and ask if we had been helped yet, which stood out. When our waiter did arrive, the first thing he mentioned was that last call would be soon since they close at 10. We had arrived around 9, so we went ahead and ordered both drinks and food at the same time. Service throughout the meal was slow. We ordered the trio for the table, and I got the puffy tacos, one beef and one chicken, with black beans and rice. My son ordered a chicken quesadilla, and another person in our party ordered street corn, birria tacos, and a passionfruit margarita. It took a while for the food to come out, and when it did, we didn't have any silverware. Our waiter didn't come back for a while, so we had to flag someone down just to be able to start eating. The trio was the highlight of the meal. The guacamole, salsa, and queso were all really good and definitely something I would order again. The rest of the food was just okay. The chicken taco lacked seasoning, while the beef taco was a bit over seasoned for my taste. The beans had an unusual flavor, and the rice tasted like it had been sitting for a while, which may have been due to the late hour. My son said the quesadilla was good. The birria tacos had a decent amount of meat, but the flavor was closer to roast beef than what you would expect from traditional birria. The passionfruit margarita was just okay and wasn't filled all the way to the top, which was noticeable. For the price, the overall experience didn't quite match the quality of the food and service. Between the slow service and inconsistent dishes, I would likely not return for a full meal. However, I would consider stopping by for takeout of the trio since that was the standout. The restaurant is decorated beautifully, the staff are super friendly, efficient, and everything was clean. Regardless, I prefer this versus large paper menus or scanning a QR code to look up the menu. I decided on the Carnitas Fajitas for lunch which came to $14. This is a bit expensive for lunch but I did order Fajitas, so that's my bad, lol! The dinner portion is $22.50 which actually is priced competitively to other restaurants in the area. They do offer more affordable lunch options, but I decided to splurge a little. Our food was out in about 15 minutes and my fajitas were sizzling hot just the way I like them. It was well worth the $14 and I was stuffed most of the day after devouring this plate along with all the chips, salsa, and queso. First thing when you walk in this restaurant smells very clean. Not overpowering but the reassuring smell that they take food safety seriously. They are located in a Publix shopping plaza and have booths, tables and a bar with stools. I sat in a booth and came specifically for lunch because Amanda, another Yelper, had called out the deals. I was really impressed with their salsa. Usually I want queso but this had such a fresh taste and to me had an old school chunky texture you rarely find. I ate way too many of the complimentary chips and salsa. I ordered the lunch ribeye and the lunch chicken fajitas. The fajitas came out in the traditional sizzling presentation. They tasted as good as they looked with all the fixings. The steak was for later. A lot of time a thin lunch steak does not come out to a medium rare. This was spot on and the steak was juicy and tender. A really good steak! Both meals came with tortillas that maybe were homemade? The server greeted me and took my order right away. I had asked for some modifications and I thought it was nice she repeated them back to me so the kitchen would get it right. My bill was presented and quickly processed on a handheld device. Overall the ambiance of this restaurant is a neighborhood family place. I appreciated that they offer extremely neat bathrooms and a selfie wall for celebrations.
