Thankfully, everything was correct and nothing was missed, but the food wasn't perfect. My salad was missing guac, there was barely any dressing and our chips were stale. Best T flats on the area by a mile. I order from here more than I'm willing to admit. If you're looking for a deal, definitely visit for Taco Tuesdaze since you can get 2 tacos with chips and a drink for $7. If you're looking for the best thing on the menu, I recommend either a chimichanga (blackened chicken supremacy), or the cheesy steak flautas. Always get hot sauce too. If you want mild and sweet, go with snack my sweet ass. If you want smoky and more medium, go with Rasta sauce. Another good thing about here is if they do happen to make an error, they make it right. I had a missed queso once, and the next time I ordered, they gave me my missed queso plus a drink on the house. I appreciate when stores make it right even if it was a delivery order on their app. Don't be taken aback by the attack of color on the walls and ceiling - all T Flats are like that. It's the vibe. Saturdays 2 for $20 meal was the bomb! Steak didn't come with a lot Chips and queso was amazing! Kids meals are $6 and come with tons of food! Chips and queso to share! 2 drinks and 2 entrees! I got the steak bowl with the tortilla on the side. There was very little steak in there so I would order a different meat. The chips are so so good! You walk up and order your food with the cashier and then they'll bring the food to your seat. They have a hot sauce bar with lots of different sauce options and their decor is pretty dope with lots of cool artwork all over the walls. read more

I love me some TF's! My boss ordered food for the team from here last week for employee appreciation week. What a treat! The guac is so flavorful and the queso...is seriously the tastiest (so addicting). I had the Dos Tacos- Both beef, one hard, one soft shell. These tacos are huge and so satisfying. The chips that come with the meals have the best seasoning as well. As if I didn't eat enough, we tried out the churros AND the cookie dough flautas. OMG. O.M.G.---the flautas tho? I didn't know what to expect with these guys. I took one bite and was like...okay, that was interesting. The second bite for some reason- WOW! These flautas are fried flour tortillas filled with this soft, warm cookie dough concoction. If that wasn't enough, they give you chocolate sauce to dip them in. Stopped in last night on my way home from work. Wow the place was mad crazy packed. It was Tijuana Tuesday and everyone was having lots of fun. I ordered a bean burrito loaded and double stuffed cheesy tacos. The wait was not very long and soon I was on my way home. The Bean Burrito was amazing. My sweetheart had to cut it in half and save the rest for later. We probably could have order just the Bean Burrito and shared it because it was that big. As for the Double Stuffed Cheese Tacos it's a different story. Normally when I order them they are nice and full of everything. I like to eat one, get nice and full and save the other for later. Not this time, not a lot of fillings very little meat and very disappointed. No sure if it was from just being so busy or maybe someone new in the kitchen. Overall dinner was still very good and yes we'll be back again soon. Next time I'll make sure to check the Double Stuffed Cheese Tacos before I go if I'm doing Take Out again. I love the new Saturday 2 for $20 meal deal that exists. It's great feeling like we have any easy to-to lunch for a great price. I wish they would bring back the Georgia Peach sauce. The food service is always great, and often times I will mobile order. Sometimes the chip quantity can feel like it's lacking a bit. My biggest complaint are the cups as they often times spill. The cups are very flimsy and the lids never stay on. I wish they would go back to their old cups. Overall we typically have a very positive experience at this location. read more

I usually use curbside normally, it's already ready before the predicted time and they bring it right out with a smile. this place is totally different from any other Tijuana's I've ever been to. My favorite spot for Taco Tuesday! I usually order the Dos Taco meal for only $5.99 with either a strawberry lemonade or an Arnold Palmer and a side of Mae Ploy Sweet Chili sauce. This was my families go to spot way before mine but something about the tacos with that chili sauce just makes it extra special. This location is just in my neighborhood on SR 46 next to Fairwinds Bank. For lunch, I recommend ordering online for pick up. Their orders are very accurate and always ready on time. I've never had any issues when we make an occasion run for the office. Their menu is very basic and simple but all orders are made from fresh ingredients. You can enjoy it with all the family members and children are encouraged to visit. With the price and the simple ingredients you just can't go wrong! read more

Went here to try it out for the first time, and sadly it will be the last time. I got the chicken bowl, my kid got the soft shell tacos, and husband got some extra large steak burrito. The tacos tasted weird like the seasonings were mixed up with taco and fajitas seasoning. I had lunch at Tijuana Flats in Sanford today. I ordered the soup and when they brought the soup to me they let me know that they did not have any spoons. I did not believe this so I went inside to ask if they had any spoons and they said they would send a manager out which they did however all she did was rudely explain me that the factory was out of spoons. Say what? Publix, amazon and the dollar store down the street have spoons. Seems like bad attitude and bad management is the real issue. read more

I did curbside pickup tonight because we didn't want to cook after a long day. My order was scheduled to be ready at 8:09pm and I arrived right on time. I parked and called to let them know I was there, and while I was going through the automatic menu on the phone, an employee walks out of the store with a bag of food and comes over to my car. She verified that it was my order and wished me a good night, meanwhile the automatic voice is still going on the phone. I was blown away by how ready and fast they were!! The receipt said my order was checked by Megan, so shoutout to Megan!! Got home, food was still hot and everything was correct in the order. My co-workers really talked this place up especially because of all of their sauces. It appears that many other people really like it to as the place was packed. My experience was not the greatest. Maybe the fish tacos just were not the thing to get? How can you put other sauces on that type of a taco? They gave me chips, but no salsa. I then asked for salsa and wow was it bland! I had to dump a hot sauce in it to make it taste good at all. Disappointment overall based on others opinions. read more

Tijuana Flats is very similar to QDoba or Chipolte except that at Tijuana Flats they have a bar in the middle of the restaurant with several different salsas to try. The salsas range from "Sissy" (mild) to "Death" (super hot). The salsas are all available to purchase too. Service was quick and friendly and the place was clean and inviting. I thought the food was on the bland side (hence the salsa bar) and the portions rather small. For instance, at Chipolte or QDoba I can order a burrito and get two meals out of it. At Tijuana Flats I easily finished my meal. Tijuana Flats sells beer which goes nicely with the food. read more

I been eating at Tijuana Flats for many years and look forward to it. Last night I ordered the Chimichanga from Sandford, FL store, very nice staff. When she handed it to me wrapped up it felt light. When I got home I open the package and there was a 5 inch Chimichanga! I paid $13.28 for a 5 inch! Stupid rip off. I am not sure if the cook didn't know what they are doing, or if the restaurant has now shrunk size by half. I actually went to McDonalds afterwards to eat. $13.28 for a snack is ridiculous. Food could use a bit more flavor, in my opinion, but it serves as a good backdrop to sample their array of hot sauces. While the food isn't worth raving about (for a Texan and So. Cal. Girl), the five star friendless/helpfulness of the counter help and server makes up for it. Offered us a free appetizer of chips cheese, guacamole, and some other sauce for being first timers. Gave us a 10% discount instead when we turned down the appetizer offer. Told us all about their "secret menu" items. Basically, if it was on their menu pre-summer changes you can probably still get it. Bonus: I could drink the filtered tap water. I dont understand how this location has such difficulty with carrying out something as simple as "please make the burrito Wet with Queso". I can't count how many times I order my food to-go, get food, drive home, and look, only to see I was charged for queso, yet there was no queso on the burrito. Even though it's much further away from me than the Lake Mary TF, THIS place has my business forever. Every time I come here with hubs, we are consistently treated with warm smiles and excellent customer service. I'm in the wheelchair- an employee always rushes to open the door for me, coming and going. When I went by myself (using the walker), the most excellent Hailey got the door for me, asked if I would like to sit down so she could retrieve my to go order, took my payment to the register, brought it all back to me, and even got me my favorite sauce (Mae Ploy Sweet Chilli). THEN she asked if she could carry it out to my car! That Hailey is one awesome employee to have. No, it's NOT "authentic" Mexican food, It's not even trying to be. It IS fresh ingredients, prepared quickly, that taste delicious, for an affordable price. My favorite is the nachos. I know, how ordinary of me, right? But they always hit the spot. I get mine with ground beef (which is how nachos SHOULD be ;), extra olives, extra scallions, blah, blah, blah, and some of the most tasty guacamole evah. I recently ordered catering from here and was extremely disappointed. Having been a fan of TF for years, I had high expectations. The order was delivered without sterno to keep the food warm. When speaking to the manager about this the excuse given was they were damaged and my colleague who accepted the order said it was "ok". Keep in mind there was a Publix within walking distance of our office to purchase replacement sterno. No hot food catering should be without a way to keep things warm as it could result in food spoilage. I was only offered free add-on drinks on my next order.
