I went here with my boyfriend and we were excited to eat here because we love Tijuana. Soon after we sat down and received our food we got up to get some extra sauces. I turned around to look at our table because I felt like someone was there and one of the bussers was hovering over our food and looking around to see who's looking at him. I saw him throw dirty napkins from the floor on top of our food, he was trying to take our food away KNOWING we had JUST been served. Mind you we were gone for not even a MINUTE. I shouted "hey" he put his hands up and walked away before I could get to the table. There was water spilled into the chips and the food was as unappetizing. We were furious and confused seriously who hired this guy? Terrible experience here will not be coming back they hire weirdos. read more

I've eaten her twice now and both times were exceptionally good experiences. I don't leave a lot of reviews so I need to be a little fired up to do this (maybe more notable is I'm not really a Tex-Mex fan). I know it's a small chain, but there's something "un-chain" like about this place that is very comfortable. Short version on both visits: Greeted at the door by server who then set a table for my family outside while we were in line. Everyone has a smile and a great attitude. Food tastes very fresh. I'm real happy to find good local microbrew on tap. Asst. manager came out twice to check on us. Juan looks like a guy who really likes his job. It was a nice experience. I suspect their primary market is college students, but I think a third location in the Millhopper area would do well with families. read more

Super friendly, clean, and pretty speedy service. Love the hot sauce bar. The only thing they should change is put tofu or some type of meat substitute for us vegans. Always love this location! However tonight when I called in to order (close to quitting time) the girl on the phone was kinda rude & basically rushed me off the phone!! Usually I wouldn't do this to a restaurant but when I was pregnant months back and always had late night orders the manager was always really nice when I called to place a order(&also in person) !! I have a really hard time finding a safe and tasty place to eat since I have Celiac Disease. The manager bends over backwards to make sure I always have something awesome and safe to eat. I usually just take my own bag of tortilla chips, and he recognizes me and even double and triple checks to make sure I have an awesome experience dining out. Definitely recommended! read more

I have eaten here a lot. The food is okay and it's a great deal on Taco Tuesday. I will not be going back to the Archer Road location. I was charged twice on my credit card for the same meal. My bank (Bank of America) accepted the disputed charge, but I was told to call the manager on duty to notify him. I called him and he hung up on me. I will not be going back. read more

I'd never been to a Tijuana Flats before (because I'm from Seattle) so all of my friends in Florida had told me "Yes! Go to Tijuana Flats!" I don't know why I waited so long to go because if I had known earlier how great my experience would have been, I would have gone much earlier. I literally only signed up for yelp to review this place. TF deserves 5 stars not only because the food is great, but the people that work there really made my experience. The girl knew I'd never been there and recommended something that she loved with a passion (I could tell). Then she showed me to the amazing 15 hot sauces. Not only did she tell me all about them, but (i think he was) the manager also came over and talked to me about them and showed me his favorite kind. Both the woman and the man helping me were AMAZING! Also, as I was eating they checked in on me and at one point the man brought me a free order of churros, just because it was my first time there. I've never felt so welcome and taken care of at any fast food or sit down restaurant. These kind of people/employees are what make repeat customers and I will gladly come back to this Tijuana Flats next time I'm on the East coast. Thanks you guys! read more

I really enjoyed the food; the burritos were tasty, I had a yummy sangria and the different sauces on the sauce bar were inventive. What I wasn't crazy about was the hybrid "order at your table, go up and wait in line to reiterate your order at the cash register and pay, then proceed back to your table to be served" method that they have. It was really weird, and nobody informed me upon seating us that we would need to order our meal and pay at the cash register (they took our drinks and appetizer order at the table). Having 2 kids with me, this was less than convenient. It's obviously an establishment that caters to the college crowd so maybe they have a problem with patrons dining and dashing? read more

Excellent food at a reasonable price! They have a variety of hot sauces that are fun and tasty. We were pleasantly surprised when the manager was kind enough to offer us applesauce for our 6 month old! That doesn't happen very often and made us feel that our business was appreciated. This is my new favorite spot to eat. They have tons of different sauces and lots of specials. Food is so good and cooked fast. Staff is friendly. This place is amazing! The best thing that i always recommend when i go with friends is to get the cookie doe flatas that come with chocolate dipping sauce. Every thing on the menu is great and if you come to this location instead of the University location you can actually find parking. read more

Food here was great before, this is the second time that I ordered steak fajitas and the meat was dry and overcooked. The flour tortillas were dried out around the edges. I never said anything the 1st time thinking that everyone has a bad day. The hot sauce bar is out of this world. I would come here just for that, but the tacos here make it even better. Got two steak tacos which were absolutely huge (think two taco bell tacos as one). Service was fast and the vibe inside was real hip, cool decor. They also serve beer which is relatively cheap. Wish this chain existed up in Boston! read more

Used to love Tijuana but the past 3 or 4 times ive gone they always manage to screw up , not just my order but my friends too. Mine was simple just a chicken burrito without tomatoes and of course they always put tomatos on it. I love their chicken tacos with soft tortillas because they're pretty big. They have great burritos, quesadillas, salads and beans. It does get pretty busy during dinnertime (around 6-8), so prepare for a line. read more
