Great service, excellent local microbrews on tap and an almost gastropub worthy menu including true vegetarian selections.

Excellent pub with high quality food. Great hospitality and if you are lucky some fine trad music.

Excellent experience! We took a scenic route back to Galway, after visiting Connemara National…read morePark, and came across this well reviewed restaurant along the ocean. Lots of seating outdoors, but being it was super windy, it was impossible to eat outside. We were greeted immediately upon entrance. We did not have a reservation and unfortunately all tables with ocean views were occupied. We kinda begged our server for an ocean view table, and she made it happen! A previous reservation had cancelled. We ordered a few drinks and for dinner- beef with mushroom gravy and cod with mussels and potatoes. The cod was absolutely delicious!!! A generous portion on top of potatoes and mussels in a light coconut curry. The fish was not overcooked, but flaky and moist. The beef was juicy and had a lovely mushroom and onion gravy. Chef kisses to both entries!! Service was great with prompt service and friendliness. After dinner, we wandered outside to check out the ocean views, and a beautiful rainbow appeared in the horizon. This restaurant was definitely worth the stop!

If you're looking for a true Irish pub experience in Doolin, this is it…read more It's a typical, unassuming pub that fills up quickly with both locals and tourists, creating that perfect lively Irish atmosphere. The service was incredibly attentive and welcoming. The fish and chips? Hands down the BEST I've ever had -- perfectly crisp on the outside, flaky and tender inside. And the seafood chowder was beyond words. Rich, flavorful, and packed with seafood. Of course, the beer was fresh and delicious, just as it should be. An awesome, cozy spot that delivers on everything you hope for in a great Irish pub. We'll be back.

A true Irish Pub experience, bravo!…read more Our tour guide/ bus driver chose this location for us and gloated on how they have the best fish and chips in all Ireland here, as you can expect I was pretty eager to get on and try them. The fish and chips did not disappoint and the portion size was very generous. If I had to pick a flaw I suppose I would mention the size of the container of the tartar sauce that comes with the meal is very small, about three smears worth. Also, omg, look at the chips! Those are some unique shaped chips, at first I thought they were potato chips that were fried but no, they were French fries that looked like a potato chip. We stopped here after visiting the cliffs of Moher, the restaurant is located in Doolin County, which I believe has a cave you can visit if you want to get some more adventures in after a great meal at a terrific authentic Irish Pub. As always people SYOY!!!
