I got a sort of chicken skewer appetizer and it was juicy but the chicken was slightly over cooked because it was just slightly chewy. Then I had chicken tikka masala, but it was not orange in color! And it did not have that distinct Tikka taste! Butter Nan was very good. My girlfriend had a veggie dish she liked and we shared a basmati rice with veggies which was very good. Nothing was very spicy, but maybe because we are in Italy where Italians don't like very spicy food! I should have asked for it to be more spicy! Not a bad meal, but not great either! Very nice ambiance though with nice soft music. We were there for lunch on a Tuesday and it was empty! Interesting...

Not a bad spot for Indian food, pretty average flavour, nothing outstanding. I'm used to Punjabi…read morestyle which is more intensely spicy with heavier use of onion. Needed more achar, but it was removed once the appys were done. We ate most of the achar straight out of the dish for want of more spice and flavour. The food here is very middle of the road but will satisfy one's curry cravings. The channa with paneer (ceci curry) was good, the baingan bharta was missing depth and that lovely roasted flavour. The masala lassi was very plain, no real masala. A bit overpriced for what you get in my opinion. Not sure I'd come back, would probably try something else, though this spot looked to be the cleanest of those along this particular street. It was also the only one without leering be-capped creeps hanging outside the front door. Yeesh

We were given a different dish, without consulting with us, and when we paid the bill the staff boasted that the replacement dish was complimentary, yet they still charged us for the fossilized Kofta. Needless to say I didn't feel like eating anything after being served a rock on a plate.
