Since I happened to be free while he was working, I watched as he described what he was doing and how it was going to lead to a nice looking and durable fireplace face. He took great care to arrange the tiles level and the perfect distance apart and to make the grout nice looking and long lasting. Last year after Art Tile had closed I was ready to retile the hearth so I hunted Leighton down because I knew he would do a superb job. I liked Charles at the time and went with him anyway. They fit me in at the end of the season which I appreciated and got the job done. There were a couple of things along the way that were red flags to me so I decided to not hire them to do the pump. Charles would talk to me as if I was stupid when asking basic questions. When Charles learned I was going with someone else for the pump he got very defensive and tried to beat their bid so I would go with him. I still went with another company. The company who set the pump measured the well because my pricing was partially based on how much wire they needed. During this process we realized that the well depth seemed different than I was invoiced for. When I confronted Charles he went off like a cannon on me. It was apparent to me that they had cooked their final estimate. It made more sense to me why he fighted to do the pump. I think he didn't want me to find out. When you are hiring someone to drill and they base their price per the foot, you would want to trust that person wouldn't screw you over. I should have listened to the locals at the beginning who tried to warn me. I don't feel the final invoice from MVM was truthful and I recommend hiring someone else to do your well.

I even have an email from Debra Meehan clearly stating that this in fact was done and checked off....Fast forward to 2024 and having the septic tanks cleaned out, and discovering that in fact "This Was Never Done".... So I reached back out to Debra Meehan, and even included the email from her stating this work was completed so the sell of the home could close... Debra Replied: John & Nancy "Sorry to hear the septic is causing you concern. I was not aware of any unfinished work from your purchase. I'm sorry but there is nothing further I can do to assist." So I replied: "Then why did you tell us it was already drilled? Seriously this is how you want to handle this Debra? You were sure aware of it when you wrote the email telling us it was completed" Debra Replied: "Boom. That didn't take long." So to sum it up, Debra Meehan flat out lied to us stating the septic work was completed so the sell of the house would move forward, and she could collect her commission check. Now I'm looking at having to pay to get this corrected at the tune of $2,600.00 Debra had a chance to make this right, but chose to turn her back on us and run with commission check in hand. While talking to the manager, I mentioned I tried a capacitor that was a different size which didn't work so I figured I needed to buy the right size and asked her if that could have been the problem with the one I had bought. She said the size shouldn't matter and that there was something else wrong with the heat pump, and that she could have a technician come to our house later this morning. The technician arrived, replaced our compactor which took approximately 5 minutes and waited an additional 20 minutes to make sure it continued to work. This $55 capacitor which my husband had intended to purchase ended up costing us over $400 for a 5 minute job. What a rip off!!!!
