They conceived a way to run the line sets internally within the existing internal duct work. The install required out of the box thinking and we did have challenges with the condensation lines. The mark of a good team is how well they communicate with one another and how they respond timely when given curve balls. They were professional, able to diagnose the condensation line issue and my system is now running beautifully. The team worked well together and operated with integrity. I was so disappointed in this company. I went to Cascade Mechanical this morning to purchase a…read morecapacitor for my heat pump since my air conditioner had stopped working. While talking to the manager, I mentioned I tried a capacitor that was a different size which didn't work so I figured I needed to buy the right size and asked her if that could have been the problem with the one I had bought. She said the size shouldn't matter and that there was something else wrong with the heat pump, and that she could have a technician come to our house later this morning. The technician arrived, replaced our compactor which took approximately 5 minutes and waited an additional 20 minutes to make sure it continued to work. This $55 capacitor which my husband had intended to purchase ended up costing us over $400 for a 5 minute job. What a rip off!!!!

So I reached back out to Debra Meehan, and even included the email from her stating this work was completed so the sell of the home could close... Debra Replied: John & Nancy "Sorry to hear the septic is causing you concern. I was not aware of any unfinished work from your purchase. I'm sorry but there is nothing further I can do to assist." So I replied: "Then why did you tell us it was already drilled? Seriously this is how you want to handle this Debra? You were sure aware of it when you wrote the email telling us it was completed" Debra Replied: "Boom. That didn't take long." So to sum it up, Debra Meehan flat out lied to us stating the septic work was completed so the sell of the house would move forward, and she could collect her commission check. Now I'm looking at having to pay to get this corrected at the tune of $2,600.00 Debra had a chance to make this right, but chose to turn her back on us and run with commission check in hand. When my team and I purchased a 4 unit apartment building we were excited about the possibilities…read morefor an extensive remodel and Weston was available to talk with us, and even did an inspection for us for a nominal fee. We had concerns initially when reading some of the reviews and looked around for other contractors , but we found they are in short supply...We moved forward to work with Steelhead and 4 months later I have to say that Weston and his crew have 100% earned our trust and respect. We got off to a bit of a slow start since there was a shortage of available contractors and he was spread pretty thin, but we're halfway through and the momentum has really increased. Weston has proven to be smart, responsive, and has great money / time saving (and aesthetically awesome) ideas while still delivering high quality work. In engineering costs alone he saved us over 10K from what we were able to find on our own. We bought the property with an unfinished unit and it is now ready to go and is beautiful. Weston was able to think ahead in planning for a 5th unit and has implemented some clever tweaks to prepare for that and the permitting that will be involved. Although I hate to share him when we're only halfway through our project I have to give credit where it is due. I (and my team) now fully trust that our project is in good hands and we're excited to have our finished project be a part of his portfolio in Spring 2022. I'll add photos and more updates as we move forward.
