The first thing I noticed was how delicious the lemonade was. I have noticed Cane's lemonade at many locations is not as good as it used to be, having a very acidic and artificial taste to it. Similar to a powdered lemonade. This particular batch was outstanding and tasted like fresh squeezed lemons, just like the older formula I grew to love. Aside from the nostalgic taste of their lemonade, the food was great too. The fries and chicken were crispy and the coleslaw was super fresh. While we were eating, the counter clerk came over to make sure we were enjoying our meal. A few minutes later the manager, Lee followed up with us as well. He was super friendly and dedicated to making sure we had a good experience, even asking us where we were from. After our meal I headed to the restroom to wash my hands and I remarked to my family how clean the bathroom was. Often times you find the floors of fast food spots to be a bit greasy and there is usually an odor of old food present but this location was very clean and presentable. This was by far the best experience we have had at a fast food restaurant and the attention to customer satisfaction shown by staff and management was greatly appreciated! Although we don't live in New Iberia, we might have to make a trip to this location more often.

They were clearly slammed, so we didn't get our food until about 5:20. Not a huge deal, just something to know if you're going during the dinner rush. Got home and realized they gave us fries instead of onion rings. A little disappointing, but thankfully the food itself made up for it. The shrimp and fish were both fried just right -- crispy, not greasy, and full of flavor. The homemade tartar sauce was the real standout. You can tell it's made in-house, and it paired great with everything. All in all, the food was solid even with the mix-up. We'll definitely be back, just maybe a little earlier next time.

Is it a pain in the butt to have to place multiple online orders just to get what we want, made correctly? Yes. It really is. But it seems to be working so I'm going to keep doing it that way and I recommend you do it that way too. There's still only a 50/50 chance that they'll include the chips I ordered but at least making separate orders ensures they get the sandwiches correct. Before you pick up your order make sure you open the bags and check the sandwiches to make sure they're right, and that they put whatever sides you ordered in the bag.
