Hot Cheetos Dog

This place is in between my parent's house in Schaumburg and my sister's house in Bartlett so I often pass it while I'm in town for a visit. Well I finally decided to try it for dinner when we had no plans. You order on a touch screen so you don't have pressure while making decision which I love but also you don't really get to interact with the staff. The food took a significant amount of time for our food to be ready but the place although small is really cute with K-pop videos on so we were entertained. Unfortunately, the food was very okay. Now they do come out looking delicious but the flavor profiles are a lot less than what you'd expect. I wouldn't try it again unless someone else was paying because we didn't find the food worth the price.

Pregnancy has caused my taste buds to be all over the place - I've never wanted to eat just basic pizza back to back ever like this before in my life But one recent exciting update is that I've finally been able to eat chicken again! Fried chicken specifically lol. Smelling or even hearing the word chicken was pretty rough during my first trimester We tested out my capacity to stomach chicken again at Tiger Chicken AND IT WAS SO GOOD!! And that's not just from my pregnant taste buds lol - my husband thought so as well! We ordered the hot cheetos Korean corn dog, tiger fries, chicken tender sandwiches, and a mango smoothie. Everything HIT and I haven't had such a creamy/smooth mango smoothie in such a long time! We also really appreciate how they give you a large quantity of food for good prices. We definitely plan on returning to try their super affordable lunch special and their delicious looking cupbop! Also they have a BTS and BLACKPINK wall and you can listen to kpop while eating - literally music to my ears We're so happy to have found you Tiger Chicken

You've GOT to give this place a try! Really good deals and portion sizes, nice atmosphere and good food. Service is amazing and all the staff are very friendly! Ask about their lunch specials!! We got 3 for $10 Korean corn dogs, chicken fried rice and drinks!!

Food was great and staff was friendly! Nice chill place for lunch. Ordered the spicy tiger tenders combo. Lots of food for a great price.

It's been a long time since we've ordered from here and I was craving k-chicken. We ordered lunch for a Thursday and saw they had a deal for 26 pieces for $20, which is pretty good for lunch! We had picked the tiger sauce and mango habanero. We also got the hot Cheetos corn dog as well. My husband went to pick it up and said no one was really there and it was around 1pm. I had placed the order online and it was supposed to be done by 12:30pm. He was late and they were still not done with the order. He ended up waiting 15 mins or so. They also had 26 pieces in 4 boxes and it confused us because at some point, I couldn't tell which flavor was which. I believe at the beginning, they used to do it lollipop style chicken but now they changed it to traditional wings. The breading was way too thick for me, so the sauces/flavors didn't really come through. The mango habanero sauce was pretty good I guess. The hot Cheetos corn dog also had a lot of breading too. We did half and half and it felt like it was 3/4 cheese.

Overvall an alright experience. I went here with a sibling on a Wednesday night, about 630pm, where it wasn't busy at first, but it picked up a bit shortly after ordering. Relatively small place, especially with lots of people inside, but thankfully, it wasn't too bad the longer we were there. The food took a bit to arrive (20+ mins), and there was some confusion when getting the first part of our order since there wasn't a name or number on our receipt (we ordered via the kiosk but no where to put our names), and the person serving initially gave our food to the wrong table until we noticed and told her. She apologized and said there's no name or number on the ticket she received, so hopefully, they've sorted that out. Food: we ordered 3 corndogs (potato dog half sausage/cheese, ramen dog half sausage/cheese, and Nutella cheese dog), 10 piece chicken wings (5 soy garlic and 5 garlic Parmesan), Tiger fries, and a mango-ade drink to share between the 2 of us. Everything was decent, although the sauce on the wings was watery, and the tiger fries were missing Jalapeños despite it supposedly included by default. The fried chicken was juicy and crispy, but the watery sauce kinda ruined the taste a bit. Portion size: My sibling and I are not big eaters, so these were just enough for us, but I would consider it somewhat small portions if you're a big eater. Service: The employees were friendly. No complaints there. Value: I consider it fair based on the items we ordered, especially using the daily deal (3 corndogs for $10.99) as it costs like 5.95 for 1 corndog (may have changed since I visited). I suppose it really depends on what you order and how many people are with you if you're sharing vs. individually ordering. I'm willing to try this place again if I'm in the area and crave asian food. It's worth checking out if you're interested in trying new things and want a fast fix of asian fried food.

I have been wanting to check out this place since it opened. We were the only ppl upon arrival so the ordering process was quick. The restaurant was nice and clean. Location: it is on Barrington street but not easily spotted (unless you are looking for it) as it is within a busy intersection. The parking lot is on the smaller end as there are other stores within the area. Classic corndog ($3.99): topped with sugar, mustard, ketchup. It was good but similar to other corndogs we tried. Potato corndog ($4.99): topped with sugar, potatoes, ketchup. Tasted good and not too sweet which I appreciated. 6 piece lollipop chicken ($10.99): comes with sauce (on top or on the side), fries & coleslaw. The lollipop chicken contained lots of meat, seasoned well and the spicy soy garlic sauce we got with it tasted good (may be too spicy for those that cannot handle spicy food). They have a lot more sauce options available but we can only select one per order. *I wish we had the option to try more than one sauce with 1 order. I'd come back for more if I was craving Korean corndogs or lollipop chicken.

We both ordered something new today. I had the Ramen mozzarella corn dog and my husband had the six piece lemon pepper fingers I really liked the Ramen mozzarella corndog, it was bigger than I expected and it was very delicious. It was like eating a giant mozzarella stick wrapped in a extra crispy coating. My husband tried it and liked it as well. We will definitely order this again. My husband ordered the six piece lemon pepper fingers. He liked them and said they were so crispy and delicious! The fingers came with fries and a small cup of coleslaw. I tried one piece and for me it was too rubbery in the very middle. I'm not a big fan of really big fat pieces of chicken, I wish these were more like fingers. They were cooked throughout and the coating was great but the center of the chicken texture was not my favorite. My husband said he would order them again but I don't think I would order them at all so I guess it just depends how you like your chicken but I definitely recommend coming here. You will not be disappointed!

Korean corn dogs (Left to right): potato, cheezy, classic

I had been looking for a place to grab good Korean corn dogs in the suburbs and I have definitely found it! Tiger Chicken is a cute, small restaurant that serves chicken (wings, sandwiches, boba tea, and of course, Korean corn dogs! I can't comment on the other food but I heard good comments all around. My brother and I tried three of the Korean corn dogs on their menu: classic, potato, and cheezy. You can choose to have it with or without the sugar or sauce on top, but we chose to keep it all - which was a good choice! We got half and half (cheese and hot dog) on the inside for all of them - again a good choice. I loved the soft and stretchy cheese with the contrast of the crispy outside. But it was nice to switch it up with the hot dog inside as well, so juicy and salty in perfect combination with the sweet outside. My favorite of the three flavors was actually the cheezy flavor (which was a flavor I haven't seen before). It had cheese flakes on the outside and drizzled with nacho cheese sauce. Absolute perfection! But really all of the flavors were good. The potato one was great because the potato pieces were small and didn't take away from the flavor like other Korean corn dogs I have tried. Overall, this place was a winner. If you want a good Korean corn dog in the suburbs, you need to come here. Highly recommend. Would love to come here again.

Located in a small plaza with minimal parking. We're happy we didn't arrive during the lunch rush; otherwise, finding parking will be an issue. Once you enter, you'll be greeted by a kiosk machine. You can order either from the kiosk or in person cashier. We prefer the kiosk since in 2023 human interaction is overrated. The kiosk interface is easy to operate. The only problem I have with the kiosk was that I just wish they would've added photos of the food and details or descriptions of the food sauce etc. For beverages, we got two bubble teas (pina colada and horchata). Both were added boba to give them a drinkable texture. Both drinks were presented in a minimalist designed cup to seal the cup it uses the can topper it like drinking bubble tea from a can of soda. Both were okay but I was kind of disappointed that they were made of artificial powder. For entree we had 10 pieces wings combo which came with fries and coleslaw and another side of tiger fries the wing was well mixed with wings and drumsticks the batter is well done and crispy. The wings were covered with tiger sauce which best describes them as sweet tangy bbq sauce the coleslaw wasn't rich and creamy which it probably needed the fries were lightly salted and lukewarm the same goes for tiger fries and I feel like they cheap out on the ingredients supposedly it has kimchi and green onions but I don't see either of those on the fries. I would like to come back again to try out their Korean style corn dog overall it was subpar food.

Korean fast food in Hanover Park? Sign me up. There was a time when you had to travel to Mount Prospect or Glenview or at the very least Schaumburg to get access to decent Korean and Japanese spots, but now they seem to be popping up left and right around here. Tiger Chicken's menu is pretty small and consists of only Korean corn dogs, fried chicken, and bubble tea. They ran out of wings when we went on a Monday night and their bubble tea was pretty meh, but damn that corn dog alone elevates this place to at least 4 stars for me. That Korean corn dog was just awesome. You first choose the outside toppings. We went with the hot Cheetos, but they also offered potato, nacho cheese, ketchup, cinnamon, or ramen toppings. Then you can choose either a beef hot dog, mozzarella cheese or half and half filling. Sometimes normal corn dog batter could be a little dry, but Tiger Chicken nailed it. It was perfectly crispy on the outside but still fluffy and moist the closer you get to the hot dog inside. It wasn't coated in crushed up Flamin hot Cheetos but rather topped with some kind of Flamin hot Cheetos mixture. It was like a wet mixture but wasn't a full on sauce. The corn dog didn't bring a ton of heat if that's what you were looking for, but the flavor was great. The chicken looked good, since it's one of the few places that offer lollipop wings. I was a little disappointed they ran out before dinner time, but we'll definitely be back to try them. My wife and I also got the Thai tea and matcha smoothies. They came in these plastic cans sealed with a soda can lid. I thought the texture was a little too icy, and lacked both creaminess and flavor. I'll give them a pass for it though and just focus on the corn dogs next time. Service was fast and efficient with a self-serve kiosk that allowed the employees to focus on cranking out the orders. Overall, Tiger Chicken is a great addition to the area. With Tiger Chicken and Zen Ramen right across the street from each other, you won't have to travel very far to satisfy your Asian food crave.

Ramen Dog
Robert G.

Ramen-covered corn dogs. The idea sounds pretty ludicrous, because, honestly, it is. So of course I ordered it. It's only $5, so I also grabbed a Thai iced tea with boba. My wife went more traditional with chicken tenders and ginger honey sauce on the side; this came with fries and cole slaw. That ramen corn dog was something spectacular. You'd think that raw noodles, or even cooked raw noodles, makes no sense... but instead you have a very crunchy, very salty, downright addictive corn dog topping. There's a cream cheese-like coating on the hot dog inside, which is hot, moist, seasoned... basically the perfect snack. Suddenly hot Cheetohs on a corn dog doesn't sound like a bad idea. The Thai iced tea tasted great; not particularly strong but still with lots of flavor, and the boba was tender. The chicken tenders were very, very crispy. And the ginger honey sauce was strongly flavored, but she got it on the side; I think I would like it better if the tenders were rolling in the sauce. It's a little ways away from Carol Stream, but I'm already hoping to come back sometime soon!

Tried this place recently with hubby. Very good! Got the family pack that came with 15 tenders and fries. Tenders were excellent, very good quality chicken, very tasty. Fries were loaded and a little spicy which is not my preference or husband's, but overall it was a great deal! Pricing is super reasonable, $23.99 for the pack meal as above that came with Cole slaw (we don't eat Cole slaw but for those who like it it's a bonus) and two sauces. Our order came out quickly and fresh. Tiger Chicken is located in a small plaza by a number of other stores. Would recommend!

Inside is bright, spacious, and very clean. The owners are so nice. They genuinely wanted to know what we thought of each dish. They are happy to explain menu items and make recommendations if you ask. Taking a quick glance at their menu, I can see they have some good lunch specials. Burgers & wraps look like a decent deal, 2.99 more for a meal is not bad considering the food is not chain fast food. They have a nice spread of clay oven beef, lamb, prawns, salmon, and chicken. Nice appetizers, a few veg options, biryani, and entrees (I hate saying the word curries, wack). We went with some grilled platters. Everything on the platter was cooked to perfection, each item distinctly seasoned. Tandoori chicken was soft, which means marinated very well. The korma tasted like home..that is the biggest compliment you can get, and will likely be my go-to when hangriness short circuits my decision making capability. Nihari was perfect. Their butter chicken was good, not the sweet kind thankfully. The biryani was also great. Perfect, aromatic rice, meat was off the bone and well seasoned. Tandoori roti and tandoori naan were soft, not burnt, with that lovely clay oven aroma. The off menu special was dal gosht (meat and lentil), which I really liked. It was pleasantly mild and obviously slow cooked for a while, giving a nice comfort food vibe. Since the Tip section is no longer available on Yelp, a few FYI's. For entrees, it may take some time to prepare because everything is made to order, so break out candy crush or prepare some talking points to share with Ralph..if you decide to dine with Ralph. Their mango lassi is good, but because they use real mango vs pulp, it could be a little tart, based on the mango and the yogurt used. Always pre order charga (we did) because that is a specialty that takes time to prepare and marinate, whole deep fried chicken. BbqLand is a winner in my book. Give it a try. Who the h is Ralph.

I didn't care much for the fried rice because there was too much sesame oil. The eggrolls were good and the included dipping sauce container was huge! The parmesan garlic fried corn was good too.
