My kiddo likes a their strawberry with rainbow pearls; definitely on the sweeter side but she liked it well enough. The wife had a matcha which she said was good as well, and is eager to dive further into their menu. They offer lots of seasonal specialties, classics, and a massive amount of fine-tuning so you can get your drink to your liking. You can adjust sweetness from 25%, 50%, 75%, or 100% which is a nice touch. They did switch to a kiosk ordering a few years back, so it feels slightly impersonal, but they are efficient with their process. I really like the almond milk tea with pearls when the weather is right for it, and am always open to exploring new options here. They seem very friendly, very efficient, and have brought a much needed concept to the Plaza (and KC in general, tbh). Not quite regulars here, but glad to visit a handful of times each year.

Lots of interesting flavors that cater to more of a Western flavor profile. First time seeing a Redbull boba. It was amusing, but they did have more traditional flavors as well. Originally wanted a matcha, but it didn't look to be the best quality based on the muddy color. Ended up ordering the strawberry anchan latte with crystal boba and almond milk. Unfortunately, the almond milk overpowered any other flavors, so it ended up tasting like straight almond milk with some crystal boba. Pretty drink, but wouldn't get it again. The population is around 2% Asian here, so it makes sense authentic tea shops and flavors may be harder to come by. Seemed to be more popular with the teens.

Since I haven't been able to make it to the market lately, I decided to check it out. Overall, the space is very clean and well-kept, and the atmosphere is nice. I especially enjoyed the experience of picking out my own tea, weighing it, and labeling it myself--it felt much more personal and relaxed compared to the usual rush and chaos at the market. That was definitely a highlight for me. I also tried their mango peach topper smoothie and added chamoy and Tajín--honestly, it was so good. I definitely should have gotten a larger size because the regular just wasn't enough. That drink alone is worth coming back for. The only downside was the customer service. The staff member I interacted with wasn't very knowledgeable and wasn't able to answer my questions. At the market, I'm used to staff being helpful and able to guide me through different teas and their benefits, but here, most of my questions were met with "I don't know" or "I don't work with the teas." She did point me to a section on the wall with some information about the teas and their benefits, which was helpful to a point. However, there was one term that appeared on several teas that wasn't explained on the wall, and she wasn't able to clarify it. I ended up looking it up myself, which wasn't a big deal for me--but I can see how that could be frustrating for someone new to loose-leaf tea who's relying on staff for guidance. Overall, a nice location with a more relaxed and personal shopping experience, but improved staff knowledge would make a big difference.

I really liked the set up - a much more relaxed and comfortable environment than the Northland and certainly not as busy as the River Market usually is. The lady behind the counter was very friendly and welcoming, I usually don't get that up north. My Vietnamese Iced coffee was wonderful. A most definite return trip when I'm back on restaurant row.

I've been wanting to try Paris Bahn Mi for quite a while so I decided to finally stop in. The…read morebuilding is quite large and they have decent parking. I attempted to order online but they shut down online ordering fairly early-it was well before closing, so I headed there to order. The individual who assisted me was friendly and the restaurant seemed very clean. They have cute decor. I did take my order to go because it was getting close to close and I didn't want to be that person. I ordered a ton of things. Eyes were definitely bigger than my stomach but I don't mind leftovers. I started with a couple of appetizers. The first being the sugarcane shrimp patties: Shrimp patties delicately wrapped around sticks of sugarcane, presenting a harmonious blend of savory seafood notes. They come three to an order and were interesting. I liked the texture of the shrimp patties and they did have a good flavor. Would I get it again? Maybe. I also tried the fried lobster balls. Those come 5 to an order and were exactly what they said-fried balls of lobster. They were also good but they have several other appetizers so I would probably opt to try a few more things out. They have Korean corn dogs and because I've never had one, I decided that needed to change. I ordered the potato half and half-half dog, half cheese. It was huge. Like way bigger than I thought. I liked the potato outside, it was crispy and tasted like a giant French fry. Lots of cheese and the dog was a dog. I don't regret getting it but I would have to be in the mood to get one again. It was fun though. My favorite item was the grilled pork croissant: butter mayo, house sauce, jalapeño, cucumber, and cilantro with pickled radish and carrot. It was so good and what I will definitely return for. The pork had great flavor, the veg was a crunchy, refreshing flavor and the croissant was so flaky and delicious. My only complaint is that it got a little soggy on the way home but I popped it in the oven and voila! First world problem solved. Highly recommend. Finally, I had to get a boba tea. I went with the mango milk tea base and added mango popping boba. It was refreshing and delicious. I like that you can really customize your drink. I had a sip of a Thai tea with brown sugar boba and that will be what I get in the future. So good. I will definitely return and I highly recommend that you try it out.

The staff is always respectful and pleasant whenever I visit. I usually bring different friends here to check it out for the first time, and they always enjoy the food and ambiance. The prices are fair depending on what you order. I like trying something new each visit, but a must-try is definitely their Banh Mi - I've had the Special Combo and the Grilled Pork. Also, don't sleep on the Combo Croissant Sandwich! Everything is fresh, though I highly recommend eating there; if you take it home, the bread can get soggy. For drinks, their boba is great. My favorites are the Lychee Strawberry Fruit Tea and the Peach Green Tea. On my most recent visit, I tried the R1: Grilled Pork Chop & Broken Rice (Cơm tấm sườn bì chả). It was a huge portion with broken rice, pork chop, shredded pork skin, meatloaf, and fresh veggies, served with house fish sauce and a side soup. Very delicious! I also tried the Firecracker Shrimp appetizer. It was more like a standard shrimp tempura; I was expecting shrimp wrapped in thin spring roll wrappers, so it was just 'okay' for me. One area for improvement is the cleanliness; the tables and bathroom could use more work and attention. Also, there were restock boxes in the front that were blocking the two big lounge seats. Overall, Paris Banh Mi is a solid place to eat and hang out, with good food for a decent price!
