I must say, I have mixed feelings about their customer service. The employees could clearly see that you're browsing and waiting for someone to approach you; however, they walk the other direction and wait until you flag them down as if they did not see you. I don't believe that their employees are well trained. During my most recent visit, I came in knowing which necklace I wanted to purchase. The employee tried to push me to purchase a tarnished necklace and claimed that it is sold like that. As I did my research online prior to visiting the store, all the images online appear to be sterling silver. Also, she checked with the cleaning service and asked if the necklace could be cleaned; she came back and said it could only be polish, but not deep cleaned..yet did not have an explanation as to why that was the case. All in all, I did not feel comfortable with the idea of purchasing an expensive piece of jewelry that's tarnished! Luckily, I discovered that the location on Newbury Street had 18 in stock. I made a trip there and the necklace was in perfect condition -- sterling silver and not tarnished. I would recommend taking advantage of their cleaning services. All Tiffany & Co items are eligible for a deep cleaning. Though, note that you will be waiting a long time for a specialist to help you. There is a bell on the wall; however, you could ring it ten times, but no one would help you until you express that you've been waiting for awhile. A manager walked back in forth (to the back) to get something and he noticed that I was still there. He then asked an employee to assist me. He kindly offered me a pastry because I waited a long time.

I have to just say that I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the service I receive at Tiffany & Co! I am even happier that there is a location or two that are very accessible to me personally which has me stopping in on line and in store more and more. This particular location provided excellent service on 2 different occasions so far. Visit 1: I had gotten engaged about 48 hours prior to the visit, and my ring had turned green on my finger. I was absolutely heartbroken, but quickly reassured that it was the type of metal, and was fixable. The gentleman quickly polished it back to perfect and sent me on my way with a proper cleaning cloth and explained it's care directions. I was then guided to customer service to drop off a necklace for cleaning. Visit 2: Pick up and and an exchange. Again, excellent service. I was greeted quickly, and guided to customer service for my pick up. The lady was very friendly and I had my necklace back in it's proper place in no time at all. I had an exchange on this visit that I had received as a belated Christmas gift. The woman helping me was friendly, bubbly, and just overall delightful. J. Marra is the name on the receipt. The whole exchange was seamless and with a better outcome than originally configured. I was able to get a small bottle of their new fragrance in addition to the earrings and am totally in love. I look forward to purchasing more pieces in the future!

Excellent, friendly and efficient customer service.

Searching for an engagement ring, we walked into Tiffany & Co after fruitless hours dragging ourselves around the Diamond Exchange and other jewelers in Downtown Crossing.

I looked up my items online, which was difficult given that (with no labels on any of the jewelry) I didn't know what to search on their website. So I was ready to purchase items, just needed to check sizes (which is what an in-person jewelry showroom is for). We waited in line due to store occupancy limits (understandable, it's a small location) and once we got in were immediately accosted by an associate who asked if we were finding everything ok. She disappeared once I said that I knew what I wanted and needed help with sizing. When I had to go ask someone from the back desk area for help, they rolled their eyes and scoffed at me for...asking them to do their job and help me understand the (unlabeled) sizing for the bracelet. If you're going to have no labels on your display for what the sample sizes are (20/22 inches for a chain necklace, a very slight difference, plus no idea which sample bracelet was for the M/L/XL sizes) at least have helpful staff! Then, when checkout time came I was told that the price was going to be more than I had originally budgeted for since we had picked out the necklace with a slightly larger diameter. I asked for clarification and the girl helping me gave the most convoluted explanation about the bracelet already being upsized. She expected me to already be knowledgeable about the different finishes too. I had to advocate for my 10% signup discount to be applied. And when we got home, one of the boxes was missing the storage pouch and polishing cloth. Overall a really scummy experience all around that I felt like I was being tricked and upsold with unclear explanations even when I knew what I was purchasing. I'm used to buying fine jewelry and having nice laid out options sheets that this business model was clearly lacking. Or even transparent pricing! I'm betting that they treat their staff poorly because they are so unenthusiastic to even help out people who know what they want! Such an unnecessarily stressful experience. The gals next door at Glossier are so much nicer and more helpful, and their price point for makeup is far less than the consideration for buying what is ostensibly marketed as fine jewelry. Most things are extremely marked up and of variable quality as compared to standard jewelers. I only came because I liked one particular design and had felt it before as solid. TL;DR Even if you already know what you want, don't go to the Mejuri on Newbury, maybe the one in Seaport instead. Very unhelpful layout and staff.

I wanted a real person I could work with to get something done just right while helping me through the process. Best decision ever! The care and attention to detail in every interaction with Ani, and in every piece the shop makes, was exactly what I was looking for. They custom-made a beautiful platinum ring with a cool twisting band that my wife adores. We came back for our wedding rings a few months later and they continued to exceed our expectations! Ani was super accommodating as we talked for a while about different styles and what would complement the engagement ring. When we walked out of the shop with the finished rings about a week before the wedding, we realized that we had a few too many stones set on the band and it didn't look quite right. We called shortly after, met with Ani, dropped off the ring, and they had it looking perfect less than a week later, in time for the wedding. I couldn't believe it! They really understood how important these details were to my wife and I. Their commitment to making sure you get exactly the ring you want is unmatched. Overall they did fantastic work, and I'd highly recommend them to anyone!

After scouring the web for jewelers in the Boston area, we decided to reach out to BRAG to make the ring, which turned out to be a wonderful decision! We had already gotten a diamond online, and wanted to incorporate some leaf motifs in the engagement ring setting. Ani was very attentive to jot down notes on the style that we were looking for, and made some drawings on the spot. She was able to show us a couple of wax prototypes at our subsequent meeting for us to choose from. When I finally went to pick up the finished engagement ring, I was absolutely stunned by how beautiful it was. My wife, of course, had to wait until the moment of proposal, but she loved it beyond words, and so did every friend and colleague who saw it. After this fantastic experience, we decided to go back to BRAG for our wedding bands, again with leaf motifs. They designed a band that perfectly complements the engagement ring for my wife, as well as a matching band for me. The end products are again absolutely stunning! If you are looking for a jeweler to make your special ring, look no further. The design skills and craftmanship of this 7th-generation jeweler is of the highest caliber. We couldn't recommend them enough!
