I'm not a big jewelry girl, but my friend wanted to get her ring cleaned. And I tagged along. Very handsome tall man stands by the door and opens the door for you. Nice touch. We were greeted and asked if we could be helped. My friend said she would like her ring cleaned. And after showing her ID and bringing her account up they took her ring and said it would be about an hour and a half. We walked around the store looking at all their gorgeous jewelry all displayed in glass cases with brilliant lights showing off their sparkle. I took a couple pictures of items I would love. This is not a negative review against the store- but the quality of the brand. I was given a bracelet by my baby for my 1st Mother's Day. This bracelet had a spring-ring clasp that failed to stay on-twice. The first time my bracelet fell off, luckily it was found. I then took it to the Tiffanys Domain store and sent it off to New York location to be repaired. After it was "repaired" it fell off again and is lost forever. My wife is extremely disappointed in the work done to her Grandmothers vintage watch. I dropped this vintage watch off in October of 2020 - 7 MONTHS later I receive the watch back with a cheap replacement band marked with a made in China label??? Is this the quality of work to expect from Tiffany and Co? I could have had this band replacement done same day at the local strip mall at a fraction of the cost if I knew this was the quality of work I would receive. This is unacceptable, and I'm frankly appalled. I mailed off the original 12K gold filled band along with the watch for repair, and it was replaced with a 5-cent piece from China... not even sterling! It makes the entire watch look cheap. I have sent two emails to customer service and one to the Tiffany store at the Domain. After almost a month I have yet received a response. I have attached the original broken clasp on the right and the replacement that was sent with the watch on the left. The place seems to be always busy like an Apple Store. The entry guard is helpful to points you to a salesperson to help find what you are looking for. I have purchased many items here and never had any issues with the buying process. One time my wife's lobster clasp broke from her necklace and came here to have it fixed. I thought Tiffany jewelry had a lifetime guarantee like a Craftsman tool but I was charged to fix it. It was not much and they did an excellent job. This location is very nice and even though does not carry every item from their catalog they can get it for you from NYC. I was quickly greeted (there were not many customers inside at the time during the day) and was shown to the back to drop off my diamonds and leave them for a cleaning for about 15 minutes. Terrrrible experience. Bought a ruby and diamond band, which was around 4k, within 4 months the Ruby and diamonds were cracked and broken. Mind you I wear three other rings at all times and no damage is done to them, I don't work out, I actually just spent the last 6 months in the ICU with my son, and with covid have been way more confined to the home. I do wear the ring everyday, but not active or doing much that would cause damage (and again I wear three other rings everyday and never had an issue with them). Let's just say I'll never be shopping here again. We are huge diamond direct fans and have spent over 65k in jewelry there the last year on some of my favorite pieces and the customer service is amazing, but with this experience with Tiffany's we will never be purchasing again. I took the ring in recently, since covid it's been delayed as to when I felt comfortable leaving my home since I have a medically complex baby (I should have brought it in in March).... But anyways it's been only 8 months since the purchase. The girl was sooo rude. Told me she was going to send it out for estimate to repair.. I should hear back 3-5 days. 4 weeks later I finally hear back from them and they won't fix anything and the cost is all out of pocket. The quality of this jewelry is very poor and the customer service is terrible. No jewelry that is diamonds and ruby should be chipping within just a couple months of purchasing. So I was in town from California and had been contemplating buying my girlfriend a ring from Tiffany for Christmas. I had been looking online for months and saw that there was a Tiffany at the domain while we were just browsing around. As soon as we walked in we were greeted right away by Amy, who turned out to be such an amazing person to deal with. She did not judge us like the store directly across the street did. I have three favorite colors: Red (when I was growing up); Black (for simple, elegant clothing); and Robin Egg Blue (for the illustrious gifts from Tiffany & Co.) I have a small cache of Tiffany jewelry for men purchased over the years, so I was glad Austin got it's own in The Domain. Mostly because I was instructed that to have it cleaned, it must be done at a Tiffany's using their own solvents. My stuff could start to look pretty bad in between trips to Dallas and Houston. I stopped in yesterday to have my sterling and 18-karat collapsible weave ring cleaned. It was looking dull and listless, and I kind of felt like wearing it this season. It always gets compliments (you know how I am about that), and on more than one occasion, offers to buy it right off my hand. People think I'll just sell something like that? Like hell I will. Walking in, you're greeted first and foremost by the security guy. He's the one in the suit and the headpiece that made me peer around for President Obama. I walked down "The Gauntlet" of staff members who are staring at you with a palpable mixture of hope (that you'll buy something), anxiety (that you'll steal something), and exasperation (that you'll waste their time looking at everything, even if you've got an overdrawn checking account). It's awkward, to say the least. I'm trained to let them know right off the bat I'm just in for a cleaning, so the security guy gladly walked me back to customer service, and the staff exhaled a little. The woman at customer service was extremely friendly. She took the ring, verified it was one of theirs, and wrote up the order. She smiled the whole time and didn't show a trace of the uptightness of her front-of-store counterparts. I was a little disappointed to find out Tiffany's had changed their pricing from $5/ring and $10/bracelet for cleaning to a $15 across-the-board-fee, regardless of size. They kind of had me over a barrel on this one, but...such is life. She said it would be ready in 45 minutes. When I returned, the mood was definitely more relaxed. Some customers were browsing, but again I informed the nearest saleswoman whose lightning fast gaze landed on me that I was headed back to pick up the ring. I wanted to make sure she was apprised of the situation. Jesus, working in a jewelry store must be like walking on eggshells. I'd be on edge too, I guess. Especially since someone actually rammed a car into the front of Louis Vuitton across the street when robbing the place. I waited a moment while she finished up by reading a thick pamphlet on the Tiffany Engagement Ring. We really are all followers of the Cult of the Diamond. And as much as I firmly believe they are indeed a girl's best friend, I don't think they translate so well on men. Not even gay men. Maybe hip-hop moguls, but that's it. Once again, the woman was personable and welcoming. And the ring looks 1000% better when polished. On the way out--for curiosity's sake--I asked a salesman about wedding bands. I used the excuse that my brother was getting married (which he is) as a chance to get some schooling on what kind of bands for men and women Tiffany has to offer. I told him that up front, so he knew it wasn't for me, but he gladly whipped out my favorites for me to inspect. We talked price and platinum density, diamonds and decadence, and he really seemed to know his way around the jewelry. It was excellent customer service, and a fun, informative mini-lesson for me. I skipped the men's sterling jewelry. Out of sight, out of mind. Unless it's Christmas, of course. Everyone loves a little something from Tiffany. Looking at all the glitter and glitz, I was reminded that my parents thank God every day I was born a boy. Even still, I find ways to indulge my insatiable appetite for conspicuous consumption. So imagine my extreme disappointment and shock at the way my girlfriend and I were treated when we walked in your Domain Austin location. As soon as we walked in the person (Maybe a security guard?) that greeted us very obviously and non discreetly looked us both up and down as though to determine whether we were "worthy" to be inside the store. When we did ask to see a couple of rings the gentleman that helped us; after arguing with a female co-worker over who would help, had a very dour look on his face. As though his time was better spent talking with the rest of the employees who were grouped together. My girlfriend and I are in the process of looking for an engagement ring, and though we may not have dressed to the nines, we both felt extremely judged and profiled. Tiffanys is Tiffanys. It's the best of the best in gems, service and has an atmosphere that sparkles (I couldn't resist). So when my friend told me that her boyfriend said for her to start looking at engagement rings, I squealed, "We've got to go to Tiffanys!!!" And we weren't disappointed. Right from the start we were greeted nicely and had someone at our attention without even having to search (not the case in other jewelry stores we visited later in the day). Ingrid was knowledgeable, helpful, and didn't push us one bit or try and get us to upgrade when we told her my friend's budget. She tried whole-heartedly to get my friend just what she wanted in her price range. Ingrid seemed to know that you shopping for a wedding ring is something that takes time and many visits. If ever there was a need for a half star, it's now. 4.5 stars for sure! M's company gave the "other half"s a nice simple necklace from Tiffany's. I would have loved it, save for my fat neck. The chain barely fir around it. (Same thing happened last year.) So M and I went to Tiffany's to exchange the necklace for something I could actually wear. We weren't wearing sweats, but we weren't decked out in the latest trends either. There were no money signs above our heads. We started looking around, and 2 other couple that came in AFTER us were getting helped before us. I was really starting to get annoyed. The Tiffany's in Houston is large and busy, so they have a sign up sheet. Much better. When we finally got someone's attention, it was the nicest person in the store. I wish I could remember her name. She was all smiles and information. She suggested that if I really liked the necklace, they could send it to New York where they could lengthen the chain to fit, free of charge. I already had a chain I liked, and asked to look at pendants and charms. She helped me find the perfect key, and didn't mind when I asked to see a couple of other charms and asked the price on all of them. She was so awesome, in fact, that I brought her some Tiff's Treats the next day. She remembered me! She even remembered what I said when she asked my name, "Crystal, the generic spelling." This Tiffany location is fabulous! What really makes it stand out are the associates. I've encountered some extremely friendly people here. One of the first times I went, a salesman offered to show me diamond rings to try on. I shook my head, knowing that I had no reason to get one so I shouldn't even tempt myself in trying it on, but he replied, "Why not? You're at Tiffany's!" It really is a magical place. The only downside of the store is the size and, as a result, the selection. They do carry the most popular items such as engagement rings and sterling silver collections, but you won't find the housewares and more unique collections that larger stores have. The people here are so rude and arrogant. The guy I talked to was probably the least helpful salesman I've ever met. He was dressed in a suit but a kid at Best Buy could do better than him. I went to diamonds direct 30 minutes later and bought a $10,000 engagement ring. They didn't even want to show me any options. Their prices are laughable too. They prey on schmucks who fall for paying thousands more for the little blue boxes their items come in. They don't actually make the diamonds and they come out of the same ground that everyone else's does. You have to be a complete moron to fall for the stuff the guy was saying. It's like he was mocking me for asking a few basic questions about their items. I left after being there for 5 minutes after it was clear they weren't going to help me and I'm glad I did. read more

Got a Return to Tiffanys necklace alongside myself buying 2 bracelets, one of which is the matching Return to Tiffanys bracelet. My necklace only after wearing it for a month, tarnished, and I was extremely disappointed in how it held up only after a little before 4 weeks the chain was turning black. I took it into the store and they immediately gave me a free cleaning and told me that should it happen again within the next weeks of wearing it, they could swap my necklace provided I show proof of purchase. Unfortunately, this necklace being a gift, I cannot get a receipt, so I was sad but very excited that they handled this incident with professionalism and am happy at the outcome. read more

Started buying simple silver jewelry and eventually got my engagement ring and wedding bands there. We always go back to Vickie who is just a pleasure to speak to. I noticed a lot of people saying that they weren't offered water which sounds a bit silly to me. But I've never had that happen, I even had mimosas there on Sunday while getting my rings cleaned. Jan 26, 2019: Not helpful visiting this store. Wish I was at my home store South Coast Plaza in CA. I walked in with rings that I purchased with my own money but the "Tiffany account" for these rings are under my ex husbands name. They wouldn't let me get updated retail pricing for my rings or upgrade them because they're under my ex's name. They said my only option is to have my ex husband upgrade the rings for me. The store manager, who I didn't catch by name (enlarged boob job, earrings to her shoulders) Never offered any other option. The level of customer service in not offering me advice or another option deserves no stars - I wish I could give no stars. So I'm left on my own to figure it out and to discuss my situation with Tiffany's Corporate office and I'm now hearing from others at Tiffany that there is a an option for my ex husband to "gift" me the ring (that I purchased) to move it from his name to my name in the Tiffany software system. Thanks for no help Tiffany-Domain. I won't be returning. When I upgrade my ring, I'll go to another City or home to South Coast Plaza to conduct future business. I spent approx. $15,000 buying these rings back in 2004. I will update my post once I have upgraded to help other customers realize their options. I went into Tiffany & Co. on Saturday to inquire about them fixing a lever on my Tiffany key chain. The gentleman assisting me checked the store to see if there were any others. He asked me to leave my key chain with them and he would order me a new one. To my surprise, there was no additional cost for doing this. Mind you, my key chain was over 1yr old. The staff at this store are not very friendly.I went in to buy a gold bracelet the sales lady quoted me 1350.00 I asked her if she was sure that was the price she asked another sales clerk if the price was right She said yes my daughter was with me and two of her friends we all 4 we're told the same price.However when I went to purchase it the cost Came up 1800.00she called the store manger over and he said she was new and quoted me the wrong price (twice) He was very very rude let's just say I will not go back into that store! I have bought a 300$ bracelet and a 10,000$ ring in New York the staff were super helpful and nice So disappointed in this store and the way I was treated me at the Domain!!!! Teresa read more

The service is exceptional! After only shopping at Tiffany's in California and New York, I really enjoy the friendliness of the employees. And their willingness to educate and share their knowledge is so amazing! My future husband learned everything about diamonds from a really nice gentleman. On another occasion I had an issue with a silver ring I bought less than a year ago. I brought it in on my lunch break and when I got off I picked up my freshly cleaned ring that looks brand new! I'm a big fan of the Tiffany's brand generally, and of this Austin location in particular. D. and I stopped in Saturday evening to look at solitaire diamond rings, and our sales associate Lynn was very helpful, patient, and well informed on the whole ring buying process. She even let me try on the 3 karat diamond ring, although it was pretty obvious that we won't be dropping $170,000 on a ring. The other sales folks I interacted with were also great; when I mentioned to one that I was looking for a particular color of somerset ring, he enlisted help who then sought me out in the store not minutes later with a lovely oak chest with those rings inside. The only two things I would have had different are 1) being offered a drink when we arrived (every other store we have visited has at least offered water) and 2) the lighting of the store is kind of dim. Otherwise, this storefront had exactly what you'd expect of the company: vaultlike front doors, a clean, spacious and beautiful interior, and welcoming, attentive staff. read more
