I was so excited to book services as we are both new moms and we were really looking forward to some self care and r&r. When I called to book an appointment for Sun, Jan 5 - I was told that the gift certificate could NOT be used unless we were staying on property. There was NO mention of blackout dates in the terms & conditions. Jan 5 is also on the edge of being a "holiday". Cmon. Also, The Breakers/spa failed to mention it when my husband purchased the gift. I understand the importance of prioritizing the guest experience who are staying on property. I was a Breakers bride and respect that. However, to NOT even disclose that information to people buying gift certificates during the holiday season is shady and not transparent. Predatory even. I spoke with Amy who is a Director and she said she could put me on a standby list. No thanks. We are requesting a refund and will take our spa dollars to the Eau Palm Beach Resort (which is supposed to have a MUCH better spa anyways). So disappointed in the Breakers. Poor form. Very uncharacteristic. Buyer beware.

The float pod is filled with Epsom salt and water is heated to skin temperature so it's super comfortable. The high concentration of salt makes it easy to float on your back and the tank is large enough for you to stretch. The tank is soundproof and can be made dark or you can keep the light on. If you make it dark this gives you a sensory deprivation experience that will encourage you to go into a quiet, meditative state while floating. The salt in the solution will also help you with stress relief and dull pains and aches. There was no notification made to customers. There is also no note on the door indicating who to contact for reimbursement. I compliant has been filed with the BBB and the Attorney General's Office. I will be making contact with the business owner requesting reimbursement. The owner should not be able to open another business and this is a criminal act.

There's zero communication from the staff or leadership, and absolutely no structure to the day. This is not a safe or enriching environment for children. I was checked in courteously and took advantage of my early arrival (recommend) to check out the amenities. The spa smells great and the setting feels very approachable and welcoming. My massage therapist was Audrey. She was wonderful. She spent a few minutes at the start of the treatment to find out if I had any special areas of concern and then invited me to choose my aromatherapy oil. I chose the one with sweet orange. Audrey made the aches in my knees go away!!! Thank you, Audrey! Afterwards, I spent some time in the jacuzzi and then the steam room. I felt so relaxed and refreshed after the whole experience. I love the relaxation room at the Seagate: it has a very calming vibe. I was offered either a peppermint tea or some prosecco when I arrived. I chose the tea. In the past, I have chosen the prosecco. However, ever since The Seagate stopped serving the prosecco in a real champagne glass, I have switched to the tea. Prosecco does NOT taste as good served in a plastic cup! When asked about this change, I was told that their champagne glasses kept disappearing.... . Really people?? The Seagate is one of my favorite spas!
