Good prices; like most services, the more diapers you get each week, the better the cost per diaper. I'm happy to use a reusable diaper service for a smaller footprint and to get a weekly batch of very clean, fresh diapers and not wash/sterilizing myself. The only suggestion I have for improvement are a few weekends hours; Mon-Fri hours until only 3pm is tough schedule for working individuals to come in to start the service, buy diaper shells or other supplies (thankfully, you can adjust your current orders online) read more

Thank you Tidee Didee! 2+ years of service- always so accommodating (I'd forget to leave the usually massive bag of dirty diapers on porch, they'd call me and come back later that day or the next- for no addtl charge/late fee etc). Office and the drivers were always polite on the phone. The service was less expensive each month vs disposables (which I carried in car, etc for emergencies). My child rarely had diaper rash, and I do think using the cloth diapers made a difference. One area for improvement- I think the printed invoice is a bit confusing at first (could also have been my lack of sleep in newborn days!) My mom gifted me Tidee Didee with the birth of my first daughter (2013). It was so great that I extended the service on my own. I felt great about not generating so much trash while also supporting the company that my mom used for me, when I was a baby. ;-) It was a no-brainer for the birth of my second child in 2020. There were absolutely no issues with entering this 'service' in the heat of the pandemic (May 2020) as the service is pretty contactless. Anita, my driver, is absolutely amazing. She is so kind to call me when I've forgotten to leave out my diapers. We've really enjoyed using Tidee Didee diaper service for our son's diapering needs. The staff are all very kind, helpful, and respond quickly to our needs and questions. They make it so simple to use cloth diapers and we highly recommend them! I have been really disappointed with their customer service. Every time I've called I am quoted some type of policy that prohibits them from meeting my needs, and these policies are not made known to consumers. Oh man new Portland parents, don't be dismayed by some of the reviews below. The team behind Tidee Didee is just fantastic and we absolutely loved their service for the nearly two years that we used it. First off, you can sign up before your little one is born and then call to update on delivery time so your first delivery is ready and waiting. Go on vacation? Travel to see Grandma and Grandpa? No dramas. Just call within 24-hours of your scheduled delivery and put it on hold for as many weeks as necessary. But you won't want that week of soiled diapers just sitting, so you can easily schedule a pick-up only. I do agree that the counting system wasn't always perfect. But anytime anything was off (and I happened to notice, which wasn't often because who has time for that?) they fixed the discrepancy right away, no questions asked. No weird charges, no arguing over lost diapers, just happiness all around. When our little guy started using the potty (p.s. this happens 18-months [YES, 18-MONTHS] earlier on average when using cloth diapers vs. disposable) we were able to switch over to their training pants instead of the diaper cloths. And a few weeks in those guys sealed the potty training deal for us. The only reason we stopped the service is because it worked so well. The review below mine from Jason I am assuming is coming someone still using their service. The company does seem fine when you are using them but when you cancel, that is usually when you get the bill for the "missing" diapers. I saw the reviews on here before using their service, got it as a baby shower gift and was a bit worried I would be charged in the end. I made it a point to really keep track of diapers so I didn't miss giving any back each week. I had two gift certificates for service, I got a bill for a months worth of diapers, which should have been covered with gift certificate #2 and when I called to ask about it, the person on the phone was short with me. She said I didn't owe anything but that it was standard to send a bill out. I didn't receive a bill for the 5 weeks prior, so this seemed odd to me. I made sure to cancel in time so I didn't get charged for any extra weeks. I left the diapers out front and got a bill for about the same amount that was sent to me the week prior for the month of service, only now saying I was missing 23 diapers. I think I would know if I had 23 extra diapers laying around here! It feels like a scam to me, there is no way for you to prove you didn't take the diapers and I don't know what kind of system they have to count diapers in the first place, but it seems it doesn't work since I have read many reviews saying they were shorted diapers and/or charged for missing diapers. I plan to argue it out, since I don't want to pay $46. I am hoping they work with me but it seems like this is an ongoing problem. read more

Tidee Didee makes cloth diapering a breeze for parents who are doing plenty of laundry already! We have had their service for a year now and are very happy with it. The diaper counting system is not perfect, but they have been very helpful whenever we have had any problems or questions. It seems like Yelpers are either very happy, or very nit-picky. When I finally did end our service there, I had no trouble settling up with them. They are also super reasonably priced. Even once they washed our barfed on king sized comforter. This place is a complete ripoff. They shortchanged me on my diaper delivery so I decided to cancel. The lady on the phone told me to put all remaining diapers in the blue bag and leave it for the driver to pick up. Two days after the pickup I get a bill from them charging me 40 bucks for 20 missing diapers. Seriously?? They shortchanged me the previous week by 29 diapers and now they say that 20 are missing. Now if I don't pay the extortion fee of $40 they will send to collections. Under no circumstances should you do business with crooks like this. Don't just take my word for it. I was gifted this service by my mom and loved it!! They also sell products which was helpful to have delivered to your door. (I was surprised and disappointed that covers do not come with the weekly service. You have to buy and wash separately, but it wasn't a big deal). Mostly I have been really impressed with the kind and knowledgeable service and how they cheer you on when you quit their service and graduate to doing it on your own. I used this service nearly 30 years ago and had 'issues' then. Surely they have their act together now? My daughter is due in October, I so contacted Tidee Didee by email in May to get a quote on 12 months of diaper service. Perfect! we were all set and they would charge my credit card closer to her due date when the diaper delivery started. My daughter and her husband even attended their 'Diapering 101' class. I called Tidee Didee last week to have them contact my daughter to set up the date to begin the service. Jami, at Tidee Didee told me the annual cost, which was approximately $60 more than her previous quote. When questioned about this, she stated they have a 30 day quote guarantee and I'd exceeded the 30 days. No where in her email did she mention this, but she insisted it clearly states that in their brochure (which was not included in the quote.) She was a bit rude about the whole thing and, honestly, for $60 you would have thought they would honor the quote they gave me. If there was another 'game in town', I'd use them. We have used Tidee-Didee for the last 17 months with our daughter. We have really enjoyed their service. Their system is just like any professional linen company, so you get a specific amount each week. There have been many complaints on here for their customer service, and I can honestly say in the 17 months I have been with them, there have been 0 problems with that. We even had a diaper cover that wore out that we bought from them, and they exchanged it no problems. They just put a new one on our delivery, and I gave them the bad one (I didn't even have to leave my house!). Their prices are competitive, and when priced out, are about equal to buying diapers at Costco. On their website they had several sizes of diaper to choose from, when I signed up I went with the smallest size. A month or so went by and I was going through all 80 diapers each week, and half the time my baby girl was soaking all the way through them and leaking out into her clothes, this was partially because tidee didee continues to use inserts past the point in which they should be discarded (worn thin and the outer layer has holes on several of them). So I called to order the next size up and the woman on the phone tried talking me out of it telling me that people use the small ones for up to 20lbs. She agreed to give me 5 to try the following week. After trying the larger ones I called back and told them that I would like to switch. Now I notice the diapers they are sending me vary in size, and are mismatched with different color of threading which is used to determine the size. For nearly $100 per month I expect better service than what they provide. These are the sizes listed on their website: Sizes Available: Preemie: Extra small, often good for twins or triplets Newborn: For infants weighing 5-15 lbs. Regular: For babies 15-35 lbs. Toddler: For children 35 lbs. and over or when the regular just won't do! Two extra layers for added absorbency. Training Pants: Gerber 4-ply, alone or in combination with diapers for nighttime protection. They also sell "rags" which are the worn out inserts, about 30% of diapers they give each week should be already sold in that manner.. read more

When we were expecting our first, we tried to make it clear to everyone that we were going to use cloth but were NOT interested in a diaper service. Well, a bunch of our friends decided that we needed to try the diaper service anyways and bought us a month free. We called to ask about getting store credit instead and they were nice enough to agree - we ended up getting all our cloth diaper products from them and the credit helped with the cost. Now we're expecting our second and I just went back to get some more supplies - what a change! It was fine for what it was before - a cloth diaper supply shop - but now they carry all kinds of all natural baby products as well - glass bottles, organic nursing pads, nontoxic toys, rubber pacifiers, ergo baby carriers, etc etc. They even had some very decently priced locally made reusable wipes. All that with down to earth service, a very non "hoity toity" feel, and a little kids area for your older child. I highly recommend checking it out for diapers and so much more. read more

I bought some pre-owned cloth diapers for my cleaning business and they completely fell apart in the wash the first couple times I used them and clogged up my washing machine. I have been pulling pieces of cloth diaper out of the holes in my washer for weeks now. I called to tell them about it and the gal on the phone was super snotty and basically said yeah you have to buy them every couple weeks because they don't last long. Ok wow that seems cost efficient. Pray tell me what is the point then? Paper towels would be cheaper if thats the case! No the real truth is they were bad diapers to begin with. I have been cleaning houses for ten years and still have some of the very first cloth diapers I bought from way back then. I have never seen diapers fall apart like this even after taking a serious beating. My big complaint here is that if your selling rags that literally disintegrate after 2-3 washes then maybe tell people that up front. I expected at least a few months from the $40 worth that I wasted my money on. Also maybe try being a little nicer and not use a tone with your customers that implies you think I am an idiot. I get it, I am sooooo stupid for not understanding your second-hands are literally rags that should really be going to the recycling center. So rude, I will never be coming back. read more

First let me start off by saying that I don't ever leave reviews on-line. I am a busy grandma and I just don't take the time. However after I just got off the phone with a lady named Cindy, I felt I needed to make others aware of what I didn't know and that is in the "fine print" if you will. Tidee Didee service itself is great. I very much enjoy the convenience and ease of having to just dispose into a diaper pail and then put out every Monday and get a delivery of fresh new ones without having to do them myself. I gave this as a present to my daughter when she had my grandson. I was given a similar gift from my mother-in-law and I was so very surprised how much I enjoyed it and I felt great not adding to landfills, even 25 years ago before it was PC to be conscience of our plant and the need to take care off it. I did my due diligence and looked on-line for reviews, something that I don't do that often but when I was researching services in my area I felt it prudent. I saw many reviews here in Portland and in the rest of the nation about the diaper count issues. I was concerned so I called and spoke with a lady named Rosalee (sorry if I spelled wrong) and she assured me that it would not be a problem. I jotted down what we talked about and called the next day to sign up for the service. It was great. Came exactly when they said. It was wonderful. After the 6 months that I had said I would pay for it my daughter decided that after looking into cost and convenience that they would go to disposable. I was a little sad but absolutely understood. It is her baby and she needs to do what she believes is best for her and her baby. The last day that we received diapers was Dec. 9th, a count of 32. We left out diapers on the 16th but didn't add the ones that were still clean and figured we would just use them up and turn them in the following week. If you going to be billed for the till the second week of December use all that you have, was our thought. Sadly we forgot to put out the diapers on the 23rd in time so we turned them in the following week. Here's the key. READ THE FINE PRINT!!! Apparently your service doesn't stop until you turn in the diapers. That is ridiculous to me. I might be the only one out there but when the last time I received clean diapers was the 9th why do I have to pay for the 3 weeks that I didn't even receive diapers. The bill came and said we owed 2 months of service instead of a month and 2 weeks, and surprise surprise, we were "missing" 12 diapers. Well like that guy that was "missing" 23, you would notice if you were missing 5 diapers, much less 12 or 23. So I called to talk with someone about the bill. A lady named Cindy was who I spoke with and it was not pleasant to say the least. I needed her to explain how you charge someone for a service they are NOT even using. She told me that it's a RENTAL service and that you are charged until they receive the last diaper. Now I would understand that they charge you at first in case they don't get their diapers back but when you call you discuss like rational people and they could see that you didn't receive diapers after the 9th, you would think they would make the adjustment. Apparently that isn't something she wanted to do. The conversation was getting heated, I was upset, she was just repeating that in the paperwork you receive the first time you get you diapers tells you that it's a rental service and that they will charge you until the diapers are received even if you are not using the service and had CANCELED it weeks before. I was hot, which is so not in my nature, and after 10 minutes I just hung up. Now lets just say that I will make sure that the bill is paid but I will also make sure that everyone is aware of their HORRIBLE business practices. If I operated my business like that I wouldn't last a month, much less get business in the first place. She said that when I originally called that Rosalee told me that this is how they do business, believe you me if that were the case I would NEVER use a business that feels they can charge someone for something they DIDN'T get. On a POSITIVE note, she did remove the extra 24 dollars that I was charged for the diapers and for that I am extremely grateful. I was very happy I didn't have to make her see that I don't have a single diaper in my home that doesn't belong to me. Also my driver, I got his name but sadly forgot it, deserves AMAZING PRAISE. He was great. About 3 months in we forgot to put out the diapers and he knocked on the door quietly to get them, that was VERY thoughtful. He also gave US a Christmas card. How very kind of him. So long story short, READ THE FINE PRINT!!! Know their horrible business practices up front, realize that their customer "service" is awful and make your own decision. I have may people in my community that I am in touch with and I will NEVER recommend Tidee Didee to them. That is strong I realize but deserved in my opinion. BE WARNED!! read more

The service was good while we used it - clean diapers delivered on-time. But the diaper counts are not always correct and ending service is a sure way to end up with extra charges. They commonly send a bill for missing diapers - they charged me for 15 but there are reports from other customers up to 56. I've been using their service for almost two years now. I have had no issues other than the snow storm last year they couldn't make it out on our pickup day. I think this is understandable, I didn't want to drive either! The diapers are picked up around the same time every week. They're lenient with billing when I forget to pay the bill (sorry Tidee-didee!) The diapers are always clean, spotless, no smell, no complaints. A couple times I forgot to put the dirty bag out and the driver knocks on the door so I can go get them. He's always friendly. The only thing I wish they could do is have some sort of messaging service or online update about service so that if there is a problem with delivery like with the snow storm, I could call in and find out. I tried calling to see if they could make it and I couldn't get anyone on the phone for 2 days and there was no message. I guess their store was closed too. Overall very happy I switched to cloth for this baby and having a diaper service makes it easy for me. We have been using Tidee Didee since December 2010. We have had absolutely no problem with their service. The delivery is always on time and the driver, if I see him, always asks how things are going. He is always friendly. Our counts are always right on and if we have ever have questions the owner and staff are always ready to help. I have read the negative reviews about them not doing counts properly. But the same person that said that later wrote that with a simple phone call, the issue was resolved. As with any relationship, communication is key. Making a phone call to fix an issue is much easier that writing a negative review. I give Tidee Didee 5 stars because they deserve it. Great service, great staff.
