We tried the avocado bruschetta to start. It was four big pieces of good bread but was more avocado toast than bruschetta. I would probably go with a different appetizer next time. We both tried the burgers. I went with the mushroom-gouda one. It was over done and not seasoned at all. The gouda was nice and gooey and the mushrooms were seasoned well. Fries were OK. The table next to us had a couple of the flatbreads and I would try those next time. Back to the service. It was OK but our server had a tendency to just show up at our table and just stand. I finally made my way over to Sapulpa and it was well worth the drive! A myriad of meads in varying sweetness, spice, and bitterness. The "bartender" was a kind, older gentleman with a listening ear and wisdom to share. Thank the Lord for pretzels and other snacks behind the counter to soak up the alcohol because wow, mead will knock one off their feet. Two shots and I was in La-La Land. I sat there for a few hours to sober up enough to drive back to Stillwater. The laid back, clean environment made for a nice hangout.
