Large space that is filled to the brim with their shirts, sweatshirts, hoodies, jackets, etc. I always love their hoodies so I spent a good portion of my time browsing that section. Did I need to? No, but I did anyway. Staff were pleasant and made sure I was taken care of. They also made me aware of the sales they were having and that if I needed anything to just ask.

We were getting some long sleeves for our upcoming Alaska cruise next year. I found an ultra lightweight long sleeve for 50% off. My wife found a pair of fleece lined snoga pants on the clearance rack. Yeahhh... snoga - snow yoga! Originally, $256 - they were marked down to $49 - but they somehow rung up at the register for $7.99!!! The store is gorgeous! With a timeline of the company on the walls and a clever climbing rope system above the fitting room, they truly like to make the store feel like the setting for their clothing line.

The clothing is well made, comfortable, and unique, dependent on the area where there store is located. I came in here looking for the shirts unique to this area. I like how they cater a shirt to each are they have a store. With this location being in the Rehoboth Beach area they had ones for both Delaware and Maryland. I was able to grab a shirt for each state and still able to browse for more. When I was searching for the shirts I was helped by a very friendly staff member. She directed me to where more shirts were located and that's how I secured the two shirts. After that I made my way to the jackets. I decided to finally bite the bullet and purchase a new, well made, winter jacket. For being and outlet I kind of expected better pricing, but you can't have everything. Pricing wasn't horrible, as I prepared myself beforehand. Note here, do not confuse this with the location in the the Tanger Outlet spot up the street. That is like the discounted/discontinued Columbia store.

In fact, I've sent a couple of friends there to buy their Hobies. Last week I walked out to my back yard and discovered damage to my Hobie from a fallen tree branch. A quick look on the internet showed that I could repair my kayak with a set of the parts that were damaged. I only needed one of that item. They were only sold in pairs. And, not cheap. So, I called Delaware Paddlesports and spoke to Chuck. Chuck checked and found the part that I needed in their shop. Just the one, used, not a pair. Perfect. But, even better...Chuck told me that if I could pick the item up, there would be no charge. What??? In this day and age customer service is a long forgotten term. Once the sale is made its often "Thanks, See ya. Next?" But not here. How easy would it have been for Chuck to simply look my part up on the computer, add shipping and make a couple dollars profit for the store? And I'd have been stuck paying for two items when I only needed one. So instead of making that couple dollars, Delaware Paddlesports now has a lifelong customer and advocate. I've already recommended Delaware Paddlesports to a couple looking to make multiple purchases and will send anyone looking for a great kayak and even better customer service to Chuck and Delaware Paddlesports!
