I saw this place and figured might as well give it a shot. From the outside this place looks like another souvenir shop you might just walk by. I came inside and quickly became aware that this is more of a clothing store. I didn't look at all the clothing I just found the wall that had all the flip flops. I was a bit distracted while in here and started to only notice the pricing. A bit steep and I could definitely find them elsewhere for a better price. As far as customer service, I can't speak on that. I was not approached by a single employee while in here. Came in and left without interacting with anyone.

Cape May had this surfer heaven shop right in the heart of downtown amidst the other tourist traps. It was surprisingly stocked with decent surfing brands such as Roxy and Quicksilver .They even had a few noteworthy boards and Sun Bum sun screen. Although I won't be surfing when it is 44 degree out might take a ride when it warms up in the summer if return to Cape May. Parking is a bit of challenge around the shop . After buying and returning a defective surfboard from amazon, I decided it would be best to buy my…read morefirst board from a local shop where I could make sure I was buying the right board for me. When I walked in I let the staff know I had never surfed before but was wanting to learn. The man walked around the store with me to show me all my options and gave some recommendations before letting me look on my own. Once I picked a board out they put the fins on for me right there and had me pick out a leash (separate purchase) and attached it for me in the store. With my purchase they also provided a little bag with wax, stickers, and a key for the fins in case I needed any of it. I ended up spending much more than the board I returned to amazon. However, for everything I bought, I believe it was reasonably priced. I am grateful this happened, as I now feel secure knowing I will be learning on a board that is best for me. Not to mention the fact that this board is so much prettier too! Throughout my whole experience at Surfers Supplies, everyone who helped me was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. The staff worked as a team and made sure every customer left with what they needed, without acting like "salesman". I would definitely recommend Surfers Supplies for any of your surfing necessities.
