We just recently bought our home in the area, and are on the hunt for all the local businesses to use for repairs, plumbing, electric, etc etc. After closing on our home, and running the dishwasher, we realized the sellers didn't disclose there was a leak. So, we were on the lookout for someone in the area that could come and fix the dishwasher for us. We originally called another local company that was rude, unreliable, and ultimately couldn't do the job. That's when we called Ted's. They responded to our call fast, came out the same day since they were already in our area, diagnosed the problem, ordered the part, and came back out and FIXED the dishwasher! Yay! The door was open, but there was literally no one around. I yelled "hello" but got no answer and left. Refusing to give up, I called ahead and made an appointment to make sure that someone would be there to talk to me. Upon coming in my second time, the Sales girl took me into their stock rooms to show me the slabs of granite that they had on hand and provided me with the pricing. I felt rushed through the entire process, but I did see some things that I actually liked. So, based on that I later made a THIRD appointment to come in and look again, promising myself that I would not let this girl rush me around again. With that mindset, I was able to place my order and felt like I got a reasonable price. This girl needs some lessons in better customer service. When it came time to do the templating, the guys that came were VERY quick, efficient, and professional. It was clear that this wasn't their first rodeo and calmed any nervousness I had about shelling out all they money I was about to spend. Once the install was complete, my counters look amazing! I could not be happier with the finished product - they were able to get the countertop into my kitchen in one piece - no seams - which was an appreciated feat of skill. Great job!

I wouldn't have felt comfortable going anywhere else with my "little girl." We browsed a bit specifically at the Toro's and Ariens (I own an Ariens so I was partial). Shortly afterwards John B. approached us, like a doctor, he got to know our specific needs and impressed that I wasn't the buyer. John explained each of the Ariens and then asked, "Are interested in my recommendation?" Of course, Doc! Toro, Power Clear, smaller, light weight, easy to handle, and a single stage thrower that is made for the NE Glop we usually see. John spent as much time explaining the benefits of this unit over other makes and models, many of which would have cost twice a much. John added that his boss has been using 4 in his landscaping business. The price was right and the this was the only unit remaining. Too bad, I would have bought a second one. Ya, Dad had bad case of machine envy. Before we left, john gave me a tour of the repair shop and I then remembered to setup a tune up for my Honda lawn mower for early March. The Toro was an excellent recommendation, we took it back to her place, went through the start up and maintenance tips. Then the test drive (throw). NO disappointments! Well, except it's so easy to use, Dad hasn't gotten any calls to come help - Darn It!

Drewnowski Pools in Agawam ROCKS! Everyone involved were professional and have been in the business…read morefor years (some decades). Our old liner split and drained down the pool the 1st/2nd week of May had a new liner and water in before June 1st. Even though they were slammed from everyone else wanting a pool (because we have nowhere to go this summer thanks to COVID), they worked hard and got us in the water. From Julie holding down the shop and coordinating everything to Bob helping us pick out a liner to the install team, everyone was totally awesome. With the help of Russ, Juan and a couple of younger guys, Steve worked like a beast to get the pool prepped and liner in. Steve especially was The Man (from measuring to prep to install, he's great). The whole team helped out to include getting water trucks to fill and recommendations for hardscape people that are experienced with pools. I thank you all and my kids are super-happy to have the pool this summer.
