They only employ knowledgeable and fully trained professionals. It's important to me to hire only trustworthy people when it comes to my house and I was absolutely comfortable leaving them alone in my house. I visited another local shop near them and it was very subpar and hire workers they only pay cash to sell cheaper stone. This tactic is upsetting to me because I know what's it's like to run a small business and going with the cheaper guy usually results in the quality of work. I will always use this company and wish them nothing but the best.

We met Jim and Roger at a home show. They weren't pushy or pretentious. Some of the other vendors were. My wife and I went to talk with them at their place In Plainville. We picked out everything we wanted. They priced it out in writing. They didn't try to sell us anything we didn't need. They didn't try to sell us the most expensive thing we did need. Their team came in and demoed the place in a day. Their electrician, plumber, carpenter and painters worked together smoothly, quickly and quietly. If there were any issues, I called Jim and he got it resolved right away. The most important aspect was that they stayed on the job until it was completed. I was happy about picking the right person for the job. So much so, I had them remodel my kitchen and another bathroom.

So very disappointed! This was a multi-month long granite countertop purchase and installation…read moreprocess. Paid downpayment on 8/3. Template made 10/3. Install on 10/13 (one day late). I am attaching photos. I was excited when a man about 70ish came to do the initial measurements. I had no doubt he was a master craftsman and was thrilled. But the template was made by, I think his son. He aslo did the install. His sister called the night before he was supposed to be installing, that he was sick so it was installed a day later than agreed upon which messed up a plumber. I inspected the job before I cut the check. Only because I mentioned these problems did he confess to them. He would have left without pointing them out. I paid the full price which makes me incredibly gullible. You can see the gap of over an inch from the granite to the west side wall. You can also see where they cut into a wooden chair rail too far on the edge of the eastern side. The heartbreaker was that the puppy didn't match the grain on the two opposing ends. The center piece (sink) was laid east to west but the two side counters were cut north to south. I expected the grain to be in one direction as we bought a huge slab. The edge of the east block to the north/south block isn't flush. It was a poor job that I waited for since August (July if you count our going to the stoneyard in Windsor). I've wanted a granite countertop my whole adult life and was in tears after they left because it cost a fortune and wasn't done well. It was a poor job that cost a fortune and took months. I CANNOT RECOMMEND as the son is more an apprentice who should learn more from his elder/master before being given his own install.

I look forward to going back for those. There is a self serve stand which is cash only. They had jars of flowers ($18) and some squash. Overall, a nice seasonal flower farm, worth a visit.

The same evening I met her neighbor who also worked with Thomas to refinish her kitchen. I had been thinking about doing this in my kitchen as my dark cabinets, while beautiful and perfectly functioning, made my space look very dark. Like many people, I spend the majority of my time at home in my kitchen. I scheduled a consult with Thomas and his team and was struck by their eye for design and ability to keep the things we had that worked well and enhance them by adding just the right colors to make the space more current and to add brightness. I did not feel oversold and they took the time to come out several times to help us work through color decisions. When the crew came to do the work I was awestruck with their diligence, attention to detail, focus on preparation, and cleanliness. They minimized disruption to our family, and executed the project perfectly. Thomas came by frequently to be sure the project was on track. My husband and I could not be more pleased with the outcome. I absolutely give Thomas Mach Interiors five stars! The entire process and the outcome were flawless.

We had looked at replacing cabinets and at painting and we decided the cabinets were great and checked on painting. Some of the painters we looked at did not do the quality job we wanted (visible brush strokes etc.) so we contacted Thomas Mach for a consultation. He came and shared his vision for how our kitchen could look and we decided right then to go ahead on the project. His team was so professional, and completely protected the rest of the house from the painting. Everything was sprayed on the spot using Farrow and Ball Paint which carries a 6 year warranty. They also helped us decide on new countertops and back splash. They managed the entire project start to finish and we had a new kitchen in just over a week. We were so impressed we had them also paint our dining room which needed it. This was not a low cost project and more expensive than other companies we checked with, but the quality, professionalism and speed made the choice obvious and worth the value.

I recently was considering upgrading my old Craftsman chain saw. After looking on line I made a…read morevisit to West Street Power. Jeff was working behind the counter and went out of his way to help me find the right saw - showing me everything from 'entry level' to high end commercial machines and describing the pros and cons of each one. Importantly, what he told me matched up pretty nicely with what I'd read about the various saws on the internet. There was no pressure to buy any particular saw, and in fact, no pressure to buy at all. I left for a few hours, checked out what was available on Amazon and at the local Home Depot, and a few hours later went back and bought my new saw at West Street. As I was settling up, I could hear my new saw being tested out back, and few minutes later Collin came up with my assembled and adjusted saw. He patiently and carefully went over all the controls and answered my questions. I spent the rest of the afternoon cutting stuff up. Good guys, a fair price, and a quality saw....I'd recommend these guys.
