One of Lisle's Best-Kept Secrets!…read more If you're a foodie like me, El Gran Agave in Lisle is a MUST! My husband and I had such a wonderful date night here. The customer service was warm, friendly, and attentive--they genuinely cared about making sure we were taken care of and enjoyed our evening. Now, the FOOD! The tacos were authentic and full of flavor, the drinks were delicious, and the Al Pastor with pineapple was absolutely AMAZING! The combination of perfectly seasoned meat and sweet pineapple was definitely a standout. During Hispanic Heritage Month, it feels even more special to celebrate and support a restaurant sharing such wonderful food, flavors, and culture with our community. Great food + great drinks + wonderful service + my husband = a perfect date night! Definitely one of Lisle's best-kept secrets. We will be back! Highly recommend!

The host was also the bartender and the server. We were offered a basket of chips and salsa and the chips were terrible. They were so hard so either stale or under cooked. They literally hurt to bite into. The 3 salsas looked pretty, but I wasn't a fan of the taste of any. They did have a very large drink menu. They drinks had fun names. Unfortunately, El gran agave was a miss for me.

The tacos were flavorful, fresh, and generously filled--no skimping on meat or toppings. The tortillas held up great and didn't fall apart, which is always a win for takeout. Service was quick and efficient, even with a decent crowd. You can tell they know what they're doing. If you're looking for solid, no-nonsense tacos that travel well, this is a great spot. Definitely coming back.

My Mexican food experiences are limited to just tacos so this review will basically be about Los…read moreDos tacos and quesadillas. Los Dos in my opinion has the best tacos I have had, especially in the area. Their steak taco is always fresh, tender, juicy char grilled flavor and not like all the other places I had where the steak is chopped up so small who knows what it is and dried out crap. Their pork taco is very tender and flavorful and always a must have for me as well. Toppings range from traditional cilantro and onions to your standard Americanized topping covering, but either way you go the tacos are outstanding. One other big star for Los Dos in the size of their tacos. These are not your mini tacos that places try to pass off as a full sized taco. These are legit pull sized and filled properly. Quesadillas here are very good as well and you have the same meat choices as the tacos and I highly recommend them as well. Chips are very good and always fresh and hot and the salsa is very fresh and tasty. The restaurant is small with about 6-7 tables and a small counter to dine at, but it is always packed with people eating in and carrying out. Service is always friendly and speedy and the restaurant is always neat and clean. Los Dos does have more to offer than just tacos, and I am sure their other choices are just as delicious. If you want good Mexican food, especially their tacos and great service, this is the place to go.

Let me tell you I crave their steak tacos to this day, it's truly no joke. And I've travelled far and wide since then. Every location is pretty consistent too which I'm impressed by. The service is always great when I go, and they're always more than happy to help if you have questions. I'm pretty sure it's been over 10 years or close to it since then and I've moved out of state since then, but I still bring everyone I come to town with here.

Taco Dale, it's good to see Mexicans eating there and getting takeout orders. I ordered the milanesa platter and one al pastor taco. My girlfriend ordered the taco salad. Service was very friendly and the place was clean. Prices were fair for what you get. I first ate the al pastor taco. I loved how they were generous with meat. Before I put any sauce on it, the meat was well seasoned. I got milanesa with breaded chicken. The breaded chicken was very tasty. The platter comes with some flour tortillas that you can make tacos. You'll definitely be full after eating this. I recommend getting the horchata or jamaica drinks.
