The restaurant is inside the Citi Center. You can't see much of it from the outside when you first enter the plaza. The plaza does have plenty of parking spaces all around. I ordered process was smooth. I ordered online. I got the Butter Chicken, the garlic Naan, rice, and the Samosa. I was able to choose level of spice. That made me happy. I was very happy with everything. The food tasted great. I did end up ordering extra white rice by mistake. The food came with it. I should have read things better. It worked out because even white rice tastes good here. I was happy with the order.

What I love is they sent a single piece of gulab manoon, which is a sweet, "donut like" very soft and aromatic Indian dessert. It was delicious, and it was such a surprise. I also ordered dahi puri, which I wasn't sure if they were going to assemble each little snack before it arrived, but they did. If you have ever had these, you know that there's a lot of liquid sauces and ingredients that go into this little snack, so of course, when it arrived, it was soggy, and this type of snack is meant to be crunchy. Nevertheless, the food was just OK, I don't know that I will order from here again. I definitely did want to try out this restaurant in hopes of leaving them a five star review but sadly right now it's just falling short of three stars for me. I saw someone post a video and my mount watered by the look of the green chutney. I know the sauce is usually tamarind color but I'm sure the taste will be an explosion as it should be. The restaurant looks spacious and clean. I greeted a male employee who took my order of stew chicken, one double with tamarind sauce and cucumber chutney, and one dhalpourie roti. My food was given to me within a few minutes. I started with the double which was delicious. The barra had a nice texture as it was filled with curried channa, complemented by the tamarind sauce and cucumber chutney. The stew chicken was served with a small salad, rice and peas, and boiled vegetables. Everything was well-prepared, especially the dhalpourie roti. In my opinion, I feel the food is not filling, as I was looking to eat again after an hour. Other than that, Shalama's Roti Shop is a decent place. I am interested in coming back to try their bakes, which is made on Sundays.
