Tick Ranger continues to provide an excellent service and is always responsive when I have a question or in the very rare occasion that I do find a tick on my property or my dogs. Tick Ranger has stood by their guarantee time and time again while doing it in an extremely responsive way. Before we were getting the service we would find ticks in our yard or dogs daily. Now we are lucky to find one or two in between treatments, and if we do find them, they come right back out to make sure they treat the customer well. To some people it may seem a bit costly, but the safety of my family and dogs is in good hands with Tick Ranger. It is certainly well worth it. Have been using this company for tick control for a few years now. They always call before they are on the way to apply treatments to my yard. We only had an issue once where my we still had a tick problem after they had applied a treatment. I called them and they came out the next day and re-applied the treatment for free, no questions or hassle. The technicians are polite and respectful of my property. read more

Their tick service works well and would recommend. However, I have not been happy with their lawn service. For the two years I have used them, my lawn has progressively gotten worse with weeds, bare in spots, and unhealthy. So I'm looking for a new lawncare service. read more

We wanted to get our property sprayed for ticks so we reached out to them. Long story, short, they sprayed the wrong property and communication with them was very poor. They told us they sprayed our property but they were wrong, and after a lot of us having to reach out and investigate things on our own after repeated errors, we decided to terminate any services, and spoke with a very unprofessional and combative young male sounding employee about what went wrong and why we were ending services. He ended the call by laughing and saying whatever. We will be contacting a new company soon because this experience was very frustrating. read more

Absolutely a great job this year. Service was performed with care and efficiency. I had auto delivery and was spaced out perfectly. Process of spraying was done with consideration of animals and vegetation. Price is acceptable in the past. Has much improved from the past. Had problems before. However, this year was fantastic. We are not sure what happened with this company & perhaps they changed owners this year. We prepaid in full again this past Spring for tick ranger service for the season. We still would have ticks in our yard, come in on the dog & kids, and have to call back on a few occasions to get treated multiple times. On the dates when we were actually scheduled for routine service, they would tell us by text message the day before they would be coming the next day and to keep our pets inside. The next day, no one would show up. This happened a couple times, and when we would realize it, we would reach out to the company and ask why no one came. Their excuse they use is that they ran out of product. But they don't come the next day, or any future time that week? They do not call you to let you know. And when you reach out to them, you get a 'we are sorry for the inconvenience' and 'we will schedule you soon'. So, needless to say, we are moving on to another service provider who will actually come. Very disappointing, considering we were prepaid customers who paid in full, but will not do this again. read more

I have never had my yard sprayed for ticks and mosquitoes. i noticed in May the mosquitoes were biting me in the morning non stop. Never had that happen before. I figured with the warm winter we had , I better get Professional help. Had Tick Ranger come out and within a few days my mosquito problem was gone. Our dogs had no ticks as well through the season. We have a contract , they have been here quite a few times. Yesterday the driver pulled in and left 2 seconds later. I called to make sure I wasn't going to be charged and to find out what was going on. I was told the driver "was scared" of my no trespassing sign. That he would be back now that he has permission to be on the property. I can't wait for this contract to end I personally don't think they spray the yard when they are in and out so quickly. We have a large yard with a side yard .I wish I had all my cameras working as I left before he returned so I could actually see how long he was here. Usually the yard stinks from the cedar spray for quite some time after they leave, not yesterday. read more

The guys at tick ranger are very polite and friendly. They call ahead to alert me when they are coming and come to spray in a timely manner. They spray the entire yard except my organic garden. We have had good results. We are bordered by woods on all sides and rock walls so occasionally we find a tick. If I call them, they come out and spray again at no charge. read more

I don't think they actually sprayed my entire yard. After being unsatisfied with there initial visit, I didn't call them back. However they took it upon themselves to come back to my house unannounced to apply additional treatments. Then they sent me a bill for the additional treatment that were not requested. This place is a scam. They would not apply the chemical applicant as I requested . They insisted on an organic spry that did not work. read more

These people have the worst customer service. I used them 2 years ago, broken promise after broken promise to come spray for ticks. I had to constantly call them to remind them I was due for a spray. I stopped using them but then got suckered into trying again this year after they called me and said they worked out their problems with servicing a large # of clients. Well it's been a month and multiple phone calls and more promises of "we'll be there tomorrow." I'm mad at myself for getting suckered into trying them again. One would think they'd be more attentive to a customer they lost but begged to come back This company has no interest in good customer service. Stay away. We have been using Tick Ranger for many years. We are pleased with our service. We have had a awful time with ticks in the past, my husband and a few of our dogs had Lyme disease. I looked for the best natural solution and found Tick Ranger. Having our yard sprayed throughout the season has definitely helped with the ticks. If we find any ticks shortly after our spray Tick Ranger comes back out at no charge and sprays again. Our tech James is fantastic he does a great job making sure our property is fully covered. As anyone can see by my lack of reviews, it takes a lot to get me to review something. Tick Ranger is bad enough that I felt compelled. Two days after they sprayed, my 2 year old and I were in our lawn, not near tall grass or any other plants, for 30-40 minutes and got 3 ticks on us. That's the most we've had in our lawn. We asked, in a very polite manner, if we could get a refund since it didn't work for us. Their response was that they would turn us in to collections if we didn't pay. It wasn't a nice, polite response that reassured they would make everything right or make sure we felt good about our purchase. The response was almost immediately a collections threat. I was caught off guard. The amount of money isn't worth having our credit scores damaged, so they've successfully bullied us into paying. After that, I wanted to find out if the product was a real, working product. Before we hired them, we were told they used 100% cedar oil. During the collections threat phone call, I asked what the dilution factor was to see if they were spraying mostly water with a hint of 100% cedar oil. The representative on the phone told me he was too busy to ask for the dilution percentage number and that I was costing him money by keeping him on the phone. I told the representative that even if they found a way to make things better, they'd still get negatives reviews treating people like that. I don't remember how he worded it, but the representative said negative reviews won't affect a company that's been in business for 30 years. I'm still a baffled by that call and I'm really regretting that I ever contacted them in the first place. read more

Tick Ranger has been amazing! They consistently come and spray throughout the spring and fall. They are timely and quick. We have deer in our yard and back woods and have had no issues with ticks. They spray the property and carefully spray the perimeter as well. Well worth the money. read more

Have a contract for this season that I have prepaid. Have had great customer service in the past. We have used them for many yrs. They have resprayed without charge in the past if tick are a problem in between spraying within a reasonable time. This year we had our yard sprayed April 20. On April 30th I called them explaining we still had multiple ticks on our dogs daily and found one climbing on the furniture. They said they would come back out and respray. I am still waiting. When I called yesterday to ask when they are coming they said they would "try" to make it this week, or next week. I realize this year has been exceptionally active with a great deal of ticks but it is now May 20th and still waiting. read more

Received an invoice for service on a day that my husband was outside the entire day painting the house and no one came. We also have security cameras on the outside of the house that had no activity other than us. And there was not sign left indicating pest treatment. When I called I got excuses that maybe the technician turned in the wrong work orders. Not likely! Wonder how many times I paid for service not done prior to having the security cameras!!! read more

If I could give this company a negative star I would. The tech came out to do a tick application and was at my house for 11 minutes 4 of which he sat in the truck. When I called the company they told me I couldn't prove it and the service manager was extremely rude. Very unprofessional company the owner John Vollmer was no better when dealing with him he only cared about his accounts in the Madison and Guilford area. I had to call the corporate office and they informed me each branch is independently owned and the corporate office couldn't help me. This company is a HUGE RIP OFF. read more

I didn't hear or see anyone and didn't know my lawn had been treated until I saw the usual signs at the end of my driveway. I didn't smell the usual odor that is common the first day of spraying. I have to trust that the yard was treated. I haven't seen any ticks. Something has to let me know you are here (horn, knock, door bell) would be good. read more
