Let me start by saying this: when you order from a taco place, you order tacos. And that's exactly what we did--a shit ton of street tacos. Half fajita, half chicken, because balance, right? Now, a little background for context: my fiancée is Hispanic. When it comes to tacos, the bar isn't just high--it's orbiting somewhere near Jupiter. So trust me when I say this place was fantastic. We had the food delivered, and when it arrived, it was like Christmas morning but with the intoxicating smell of tacos instead of pine trees. The bag came packed with a million and one salsas and enough onions and cilantro to make me question if I should finally buy stock in Tupperware. It was perfect. The tacos? Chef's kiss. Every bite was pure joy. The fajita meat was flavorful and tender, and the chicken had me convinced it had been blessed by a taco deity. I could've eaten the entire order myself if my stomach hadn't politely (and repeatedly) asked me to stop shoveling food into it. To top it off, we tried their aguas frescas. My fiancée went with the horchata, and I opted for the pineapple. Let me tell you--that pineapple agua fresca was life-changing. Sweet, fresh, and so flavorful it made me feel like I'd just hacked life by choosing this place tonight. If you're in Arlington and haven't tried Tic-Taco yet, do yourself a favor. Order a shit ton of tacos, revel in the salsas, and maybe grab an agua fresca or two. You won't regret it. 10/10. Would happily overeat here again.

This place is a local gem, I am so glad they opened in central Arlington and have been here for a little while. I always get the quesabirria with a agua fresca which you can never go wrong with a horchata or the pineapple. The tacos are consistently crunchy on the outside and warm and gooey cheesy goodness in the middle, but add those chopped veggies and hot sauces -- it's game over. The elote is also not bad, really good for a local spot imo! Go check TT out :)

I found this spot on Yelp. I craved Birrias for about 3 days. I went through several listings, then any, many, miney, moe, I chose this location. One reason it wasn't far from home. I walked in and the two ladies were very welcoming. One of the servers went over the menu on the screen. The first thing I spotted was the Watermelon water. I normally make this at home. It's healthy. Lol! Now, the additions, I can't say the same. I ordered the Birria taco...yes, it's good. The sauce was bland needing something to give it a spark. The chips are authentic and delicious. The chorizoqueso...omg! All you need is that and you are done. The place was clean so far. I did carryout. Stop by and have lunch...thank me later.

I ordered two tacos with asada (cut up steak). Plate came with a serving of beans and a serving of rice. Also had two different types of salsa for the tacos. I used both. The green is hotter. The beans alone were delicious. I added some rice to them at the end. That was good, too. This is a small restaurant, but they used real plates and cutlery, no plastic cutlery here! Quick service, too.

I just wanted to update my review after being here several times now. Basically, my first impression was spot on. Every time we've come back, the food was spot on and the staff was friendly. Just a great place!

First time for us at Tic-Taco. It is a small restaurant but very clean and welcoming. You order at the counter. They are very friendly and will walk you thru the menu. I ordered the Blue Fluffy Quesadilla with carnitas. It was really good. It tastes somewhat like a thicker empanadas. I really liked them. The rice and beans were tasty. My friend ordered the 3 Tic-Tacos. She had the Asada, Carnitas, and Suadero. She really liked the Suadero taco. She also really liked the rice and beans. Her favorite of all was the Pineapple fruit slush ( water). We enjoyed eating here and will be back to try more dishes.

AMAZING. Our family went after mass this morning and we were very pleasantly surprised with the flavorful, perfectly cooked, and well presented food! We also got the queso chorizo but devoured it before I could take a picture. The service was great! The owner was extremely helpful and welcoming, and his wife was so kind and attentive. Their waitress was quick and friendly as well! We enjoyed everything we ordered. Great price and great food! My brothers loved the pizzadilla, and I loved the quesabirria a lot! Highly recommend!

This place has such great reviews and I really wanted to like it. The store was bright. The employees were friendly and kind. It did look very inviting. Our family are all suckers for enchiladas suizas and I guess I was expecting the green-chiladas to be similar. I didn't anticipate the highly bright and puckery tart (raw) taste of the salsa verde. It seemed like it needed to cook down a lot more. The rice was okay, but the beans were lost in an oily thin cup of sauce. I might give them a second go, but it will be awhile. read more

This place is so good! The quesabirria tacos and al pastor tacos are my favorite. I also always get the agua fresca. It tastes so refreshing, and it's made of real fresh fruit! We were craving some really good queso birria tacos and we found this place on Yelp. The guy at the register was very nice and ran us through the most popular things on the menu. We ordered the queso birria tacos and the fluffy chicken quesadillas. This was so good! I love how the fluffy quesadilla was crispy on the outside while soft on the outside. However it did lack a bit of flavor but still really good! My mom got the house special and chose chicken, fajita and asada she said it was really good. My dad got the Quesabirria and he really liked it. He isn't too big of a mexican food fan cause he's used to eating our culture food, but he enjoyed it. We also ordered the watermelon agua fresca and it was SO good. My son and his girlfriend went to a pumpkin patch in Arlington last night & she lost her wallet. The owners of Tic-Taco found her wallet & not only did they reach out to get it back to its owner asap but when my son went to pick it up this afternoon they hooked him up with some delicious FREE tacos!!! Ok soooo I have been wanting to try Birria tacos for quite some time and came across this place on google. Not ONLY were these tacos good what a pleasant surprise that they are made with LAMBBBBB!!! It's really takes it to another level!!! The CONSUME... I could drink, it's that damn good. I would order that by itself. If there was a single thing I could critique is the location it's hard to see off the road and parking lot is limited and congested, BUT it is good!! I ordered off of Uber eats. Packaging was sustainable. Nothing spilled! The lamb quesabirria still tasted a little gamey but overall good! Fluffy Quesadillas were good too! Probably the worst time to show up is around lunch time since all the high school students are at lunch as well. It's a small establishment right across from Arlington high school. The service was friendly and helpful when it came to ordering food. I tried a few menu items to give you a honest review. I started with a watermelon agua fresca which was super refreshing and delicious. They serve it in a large size cup so there's plenty to enjoy. I ordered the quesabirria tacos and the chicken flautas from the menu. The chicken flautas were ok. Probably could use more seasoning in my opinion but the food was hot and fresh. It came with rice and beans which were both very delicious! I enjoyed eating the rice and beans more than the flautas since those had more flavor. The quesabirria tacos were hot and fresh as well. It came with consume broth for dipping. The tacos were good, and would suggest this over the flautas. My friend ordered the 3 street tacos with chicken and fajita meat. She said chicken didn't have flavor, but the fajita did. It was also weird that they put cheese in between two of the tortillas. Kind of like how Taco Bell does their chalupa. Never seen a street taco like that before. Overall the food was ok (not spectacular). My family cooks this kind of food so I guess I'm always looking for that same taste when I'm at a restaurant. Give it a shot and I'm sure you'll find it yummy, or not. read more

Bravo! A wonderful little restaurant; it's way beyond a simple taqueria. It's going to outgrow this little storefront soon. I'd love to see this owner in a bigger space with the ability to expand on his capabilities. He has some sophisticated dishes and has to have some things like wings for the AHS crowd across the street. I'd love to see an expansion of the owner's Mexico City sophistication. The owner will walk you through the menu and explain things thoroughly. It's a cool touch. I can't wait to try all on the menu. I had heard the Birria tacos were superb, so I tried those first as I haven't had them before. They were more than my expectations. Braised tender lamb, folded into tortillas with cheese and griddled. The order of three is served with a rich hearty lamb consommé with vegetables that might have been the best thing I had today. Comes with pickled onions, raw onions, cilantro, and green and red sauces. Fantastic. They are rich so don't be fooled. This is a hearty filling meal. Wife ordered the pizza-dilla with asada. The pic was a bit deceptive. It looks small but what is brought to the table was a huge quesadilla, with double layers of tender carne asada and melty cheese. Topped with pickled onions and spicy green sauce. It is the size of a medium pizza and could feed three or four folks. It is delicious and I would order the combo next with assorted meats and pineapple. The chicken puffy quesadillas are unique. Like a fried empanada. An order of three, they are topped with lettuce and crumbly queso. Get a pile of pickled onions on the side. They come with fantastic pinto beans and a side of really good rice. I want to try everything on the menu including the burger. Service by the owner is superb. The desserts look fantastic. Highly recommended. Check it out. read more

The tortillas were fairly good. The space is really big and clean, the employees were very nice. I wish I would've liked the tacos more but they just weren't for me! However, they might be for you, so I would still stop by and give them a try! Maybe you will have better luck or pick a better item on the menu! They did have a lot to choose from.
