My first experience at the Tibi shop in Soho was fantastic! I recently found out about the brand and wanted to purchase The Creative Pragmatist book, as well as try on a few items for sizing purposes. I called ahead to make sure they had the book, which they did. When I got there, I informed them I had called earlier for the book, but that I also just wanted to try on some items for sizing. They did not have a problem with that and Jen was very helpful, patient and accommodating when I asked for other items, after thinking I was through. She explained intended fit of items and also brought me petite sizing. The pieces are quite expensive, so I have to be extremely selective in what I'm adding to my wardrobe, in order to get the biggest bang for my buck. Right now I'm interested in the Gabe shirt and the Stella and Sid jeans, just figuring out which washes. Now to save the big bucks! Thanks Jen for providing a wonderful experience! read more

To me this store is dress heaven. I love the chic location, friendly staff, fun layout and of course the amazing dresses. I first discovered Tibi at a little shop in Tupelo Mississippi, the hometown of Elvis. After literally hundreds of compliments on that dress, I discovered that Tibi was a staple at my favorite Macy's on State St. in Chicago. After realizing there was an retail location in SoHo, I knew I had to go and I've visited the store every time I've been in NYC since. On one trip I got there too late and my sad face was not enough for the security guard to let me in. No worries, I went back the next day. If you love dresses with color and fun patterns and shapes. If you just love dresses, you have to check Tibi out. The staff is super friendly and there is usually a bunch of items on a sale rack in the back. read more

Guys, please never shop any full price items from this store ANYMORE. Got a red skirt for $695 on Nov 18 in the store was told this was a collection item and will not be on sale. On Dec 13 when I checked again I found there is a 40% off on this item, and on Intermix there was a 65% OFF. I called the store, the Manager said the return policy is 14 days. I understand I passed the deadline by 10 days but requested to speak to a higher level person. I simply couldn't accept I spent $700 on a $200 item and cannot return even for store credits just because I pasted 10 days (their online shop has a 20 day return period, very very confusing). I didn't say they have to return it for me, I simply requested to speak to the higher level manager. The salesperson agreed but I never got any responses. I called again the second day someone else answered and said the Manager will be in around noon but still no further response. read more

No reviews since 2011?! Well, it's time for me to add my two cents :-) Tibi is absolutely fabulous - the store, located in the heart of SoHo, is a gorgeous space in and of itself. And the clothes...to die for. There is truly something for everyone and for every occasion, from formal events to chic/casual everyday looks - Tibi has you covered, and they do it so well! Beautifully constructed and designed, Tibi walks to the beat of its own drummer yet takes into account what is current & on-trend. The sales associates are lovely, too - never pushy & have great ideas on how to curate the perfect look (thanks, Laura!). Pricey, yes - but in this case, you get what you pay for and it'll last for many years to come. read more

still one star LOL. but this is for their online store. i shopped their "sample sale" and they can't even follow their own store policies!!! spend your money elsewhere on similar priced higher qualify brands. they really need to get it together. there are a lot of highly competitive brands at their price point i'm going to start buying my stuff from. I can't wait for 2 weeks for something to be shipped. and then when u contact customer service, they're so clueless, have so many excuses and no answers. it's very unfortunate - i used to love this brand and now will be spending my money elsewhere. I cannot express the amount of dissatisfaction and frustration I have with Tibi's customer service. My one and only online experience with Tibi was terrible. I purchased a pair of pants that was described as stretch. I referred to their size guide and selected the appropriate size or what I thought to be the appropriate size. However, when I received the pants and tried them on, they could not fit as I could not button them and were fitted as high-waisted pants (not described and not shown as that.) None of this was mentioned in the description, which was due to lack of description. When I reached out to customer service, I was told that because the product I purchased was final sale that I would be able to have one chance to exchange this for another size. I even clarified and asked if I could make a second exchange if the first exchange for the next size up did not fit. I was told no and that there was no exchanges of other styles, credit, or a one time courtesy return was possible. I mentioned that I was extremely dissatisfied that the product was poorly and inaccurately described. The client service member from Tibi said that the product was popular and refused to acknowledge any aspect of my frustration. I understand that there is a final sale policy, but I have had better customer service experiences with other designer companies of this stature. For example, while Theory has a strict final sale policy as well, the company is willing to hear and acknowledge the dissatisfaction in their product. read more

Tibi is an excellent boutique. Fashion forward, great selection that's updated every month, and fantastic customer service. Their dresses are particularly unique and beautifully made, but their jackets, tops, jumpsuits, etc. are all great. The shoes are beyond - they have similar styles every season but updated in new fabrics, leathers, colors, etc. including some colors you never see anywhere else. Some SoHo boutiques don't have helpful staff, but the people here go above and beyond in helping you find what you need, what's right for your body type (even if you aren't tall and skinny!), and to make you happy. Highly recommend for a visit every season! read more

Terrible customer service. I saw a pair of pants online and I didn't want to buy before trying. So I went in the store and tried the pants and they looked great in me with a nice formal cut. I only needed one size up. The lady there said she had a pair in the warehouse exactly the same in the size I wanted with the only difference that there was a zipper at the ankle instead of a buckle. and they would send it to me by mail. I specifically asked if it is the same cut and pants then I would get it. We purchased the pants (on sale). When the pants arrived it had nothing to do with the one I tried. The one I tried was a nice thick faux leather with a nice cut and the one I received was thin waterproof material like a garbage bag and super super bulky like street wear hammer parachute pants. I called back and they refused to exchange as well were very rude. Be very aware they are desperate for a commission and will say anything to get the sale. read more

Tibi loses one star for its hours - they close really early and it's hard to get there after work. Luckily, I live nearby and can take advantage of the amazing sale rack and very nice staff on weekends. Definitely recommend. read more
