Seating is sparse , but they have set up an area specifically for children. I'm not sure on the menu (I went to browse the deli & stocked lines), but they serve Aromas coffee and Louis (the owner & patriarch of this family run business) assures me the "young-fella" they brought in to man the coffee machine makes a very good coffee. Very tidy set-up for showcasing the non-perishable items. The interior has quite an architectural feel to me - clean lines, subtle colours. I found the items stocked to be quite a nice mix of imported and Aussie-made. There is no particular emphasis on any one type of cuisine / ethnicity. I even found a product from back home (USA) that I'd been casually keeping an eye out for & hadn't seen elsewhere. Prices are what you'd expect for a continental deli and in-line with other suppliers around the city. I think they may source some of their goods via Black Pearl Epicure, which suits me just fine as I am confident of the quality of goods from Black Pearl. Black Pearl was on -hand today assisting with cheese sampling. I was asked what my favourite cheese was (Ash Brie) and presented with an Ash Brie from Kingaroy. Nice support of QLD producers! Based on my visit today, I'm certainly a fan and keen to see what the deli will become as they complete their vision. I spent some time speaking with Louis & he informed me it's been a 2.5 year work of love so far and they have not yet finished building everything they envision. However, he wanted to get it open and get the foodlovers in to get feedback on the current set-up and what people want to see in the future. He spoke of opening a courtyard seating area and expanding into the neighboring tenancy to house a bakery and wine store. I've read elsewhere they also plan to offer a "high cheese", which is a take on the high tea. (Think: wine & cheese.) Count me in for some of that action!

The beautiful set up was inviting, the deals were also quite reasonable. Over all a cool little place in the centre of Stone's Corners' coffee street. Very impressed. Andy also made me aware of the courtyard being built within the next three months in which they will start hosting tastings of certain cheeses and wines, as well as having cool theme nights also. I'm so excited to see this business flourish. A must see!

It's based in a small, suburban shopping centre in the Coorparoo/Camp Hill area.Inside there's a deli counter and little mini grocery store (stocking high end oils, vinegars etc etc). And a huge trestle table where you can sit and sip coffee or brunch. If you're after more space, just outside you can sit in the cafe's "extension", which is quite spacious, airy and has huge French windows that open out. Unfortunately onto a carpark. I came here to order some gourmet salads for Christmas Day. And although they sounded amazing, creative and probably would have tasted divine - at $23.50/kilo, I had to fan myself with the menu and have a sit down. Before leaving without ordering. I have it on good authority that this is THE place that locals come for brunch on a weekend (but book a table). And the sarnies are apparently to-die-for. As is the expense, I'm sure.

The atmosphere is nice and relaxed and the space makes it an easy option if you're looking to meet up with family or friends. While not extensive the menu is sure to feature at least something that will interest you. My personal pick being the BLAT with its thick bacon, generous smear of avocado and mayo it is a real treat. Their coffee is Merlo and is good without being anything to write home about. All things considered, a Sunday morning coffee and BLAT in their very open and breezy outside seating area is a great way to start winding down the weekend.

I love this place, from high quality ingredients to a perfectly thought out menu with great staff and a cool vibe thrown into the mix. The smoked salmon with avo and labna on house made bread is giving me heart palpitations just thinking about it. The bread was super fresh, filled with seeds and had a delicious crunchy crust. The smoked salmon was not shaved like you'll find in other places it's large chunks of salmon that I'm told is from a local supplier. The amount of avocado you get is insane and everything felt so wholesome. Coffee was also really good - not blow your sock off coffee but definitely above average. Vegetarian options available and the juices are fresh and yummy. I'm going to become a regular here as I've not had such a great breakfast in a long time. Get on it!

Inside I found a unique specialty store. The front half of the store was dedicated to fresh fruit and vegetables, hung up in baskets ready to be bought. Throughout the rest of the inside specialty chocolates and other unique delicacies lined the racks and shelving. Displayed at the front counter a range of fresh salads and sandwiches that I could tell were made in store. I ordered a coffee a while I was waiting the lady behind the counter asked me about my day which turned into a very comfortable conversation. When I was given my beverage, we thanked each other and I walked out the door, feeling I should have bought something else. But just like the conversation I just had there was no pressure just great friendly service. There should be more places like this.
