Covid had well and truly put the Kibosh on coming here for me for quite a while but I made it my mission, once the green germy Covid dust clouds had settled, this was high on my list. Man alive was this worth the wait. Having eaten almost exclusively in places just like this in America, let me tell you, this place is pretty damn authentic. My dinning partner and I wept like puppies with food envy as we watched all the other peoples food come out wings and burgers being the big choices. Every single thing made you question your choice. The inside of the restaurant isn't much to look at, the walls were cover in a landscape of S.Pellegrino sparkling mineral water bottles and the floor with its green and black (sometimes green and white) checkered design was stark to say the least. Ordered one bolognese ($21) and one carbonara ($21). Simple dishes that, if done well, are amazing. The chefs did a great job. The house made fettuccine was a perfect al dente (not sure if other pasta types were available). Flavours were consistent and splendid, and the serving size was generous! I would recommend having a table outside, granted the weather is nice and a table is available. I look forward to enjoying another meal with these guys again.
