Aaron and Sheena were terrific from the tasting to the post-wedding dialogue. Aaron was very friendly, re-assuring, and helpful at the tasting (even recommending the florist we ended up using). Sheena prepared amazing food, much of which we chose to serve during the reception. At the reception itself, Aaron and his staff were exceptional. The guests were treated quite well and never had to wait long for food or a drink. Everyone commented on how amazing the food was and our special-order vegan friends were amazed that they got a delicious, full meal as they are used to eating undressed salads at most events. Georgia is pulled pork country and to be honest pulled pork doesnt require much talent. Brisket, on the other hand, requires talent or it ends up pot roast. Uncle Chet's brisket is pot roast. The 3 stars comes the fact that the mac n cheese wasn't horrible and they gave an EMS discount for on duty paramedics. This place, like most bbq spots in Georgia, is great for the untrained sauce loving "bbq" fan... but for me and people who know... if it needs sauce, it sucks. If this place is 5 stars, you need to travel a little to understand what I mean. 3 stars is generous.
