WE LOVED IT HERE! They are old cottages that have been 'lovingly' renovated with modern fixtures. VERY clean with everything you want in a room: coffee maker, fridge, microwave. The first Monday of the month is a tsunami siren test (ask me how we found out). It's reasonable, close to Long Beach with it's various stores and restaurants and RIGHT NEXT DOOR to the Seaview Biscuit Company! I have a separate review for that, and YES, you have to try it! The Seaview Cottages is a popular place and because of that, we had two different rooms during our three day stay. One night with double queen beds, and two nights with a king bed. So make your reservations early! If we are ever in this area again, THIS is the place where we want to stay! It made me one GLAAAD SISTER! :D

The owners Shelia and Peg are sweet and accommodating, and they make delicious breakfasts and cookies. If you are looking for a truly "bed and breakfast" experience -- chatting with the owners, sitting around a breakfast table eating home-cooked breakfasts and meeting other guests -- I highly recommend A Rendezvous Place. They have an email address and a phone number posted on their site, but they are best over the phone.
