So, I pulled up & saw the office sign. I went in and it wasn't an office, it was a laundry room/cleaning closet. So I went back out & closed the door behind me thinking I had made a mistake. So as if the room had changed, I opened the door again & went in expecting to see a hotel lobby. But to my surprise I was still in a laundry room/cleaning closet. I was very confused at this point, wanting to check in. So I went back into my car & called them. The lady said she was on her way over & met me at the same "office" door. She walked in, pulled down a makeshift shelf that made the laundry room look a little more like the place you'd check in. And we were given the key etc. Room 1 is what we got & here's the review: upon first examination it's definitely musty. It's old, the carpet is pretty bad & has rugs on it on the worst parts. So keep your shoes on. The comforter smells. I immediately took it off & put it on the floor. If you saw my pics you know that furniture is old, stuff is rusted & chipped. Room 1 is facing the street so you get some noise from semi trucks going by at night. The door is on its last leg. But besides all that, it was clean, the bed was comfortable & it was inexpensive. Staying here felt like I had gone to stay at my aunts house out in the country & had popped in unexpectedly needing to stay in one of her old rooms. It has that kind of old "homely stuff thrown together" feeling to it. (And I'm not implying that my real aunts are anything like that. Just sayin) Over all I would recommend this place if you need a cheap quick sleep. But I'd probably stay somewhere else next time. Somewhere w cleaner carpets. read more
