Admission is only $30, and they just require that you wear proper attire--but there are no equipment checks like at other race tracks. You can even camp there over night. Each race last approx. 10-15 mins. You'll walk through an arcade area upon entering. There is a counter in the center where you can choose your race packet. You will have to take a picture so be mindful of that. (something I wish i knew before hand lol) Once in the race arena you pick your own helmet and the worker will assign you a cart. The course looks small compared to K1 racing, but feels long when actually driving. Overall, it is a great date night/family outing. We really enjoyed it just racing eachother and others too.

In March 2022, I came here for a full day's shift volunteering as a builder in preparation for the…read morecoming weekend's Spartan race. I didn't do said race, opting instead to use my voucher for the 21k in Big Bear. However, I figured I should experience it myself someday... well that day turned into a two-year time-skip. A dusty landscape with lots of mini spiky plant balls and weather teetering between 90 and 100 deg F, it's not the most scenic of places, but as an obstacle course there's some beauty to its emptiness. The dryness of the surrounding mountains made up the first portion of the race for both the 5k and 10k races (no 21k). Dust kicked up relatively easily from the runners, but overall, the course was clean. The route then weaved through the racetracks, passing pipe tunnels, and into certain rocky areas of a dried-up riverbed before coming back to the racetracks. When I volunteered to do the pre-run on Sunday, I got a good sense of how tranquil riding a motorbike around here might feel during the early mornings or early evenings. During Spartan days, cars drive early morning into Magee Rd instead of the main entrance to funnel between staff, volunteers, and the general crowd. The drive is kinda bumpy, and without signs it was difficult to find your way out. With that said, it was a fun weekend not too far from LA.

Hahaha, because for some reason, as a little girl, I thought I was going to be a NASCAR driver - so I guess my hour of fame finally came true! I got to experience this through a company event, and it was 1000% everything I dreamed it would be. I had a mix of emotions but loved every single moment! The instructors were super cool, thorough, and made me feel completely safe and confident throughout the experience. The cars were top-notch and so much fun to race on the track - I would totally recommend this for special events or just to treat yourself to an unforgettable experience. I'm telling you, the adrenaline and rush from these babies on the track made me want to buy a BMW right then and there! This is the perfect experience for any race car lover, fast driver, or anyone who's into cars. The grand finale was awesome too - they show you all your times and who was the fastest in the group.
