We then tried again and I had called because we drove so far for the experience. I had talked to her on the phone and confirmed they were operating. I get there and she kicked us out and it's my daughter's birthday. She told us to get out the most rude way possible. I was trying to understand why if I had just called. Very exhilarating and worth a try! We opted for the 6 races at $100 each (these races do not expire). It is a steep price to pay upfront, but they go a long way. Each race last approx. 10-15 mins. You'll walk through an arcade area upon entering. There is a counter in the center where you can choose your race packet. You will have to take a picture so be mindful of that. (something I wish i knew before hand lol) Once in the race arena you pick your own helmet and the worker will assign you a cart. The course looks small compared to K1 racing, but feels long when actually driving. Overall, it is a great date night/family outing. The karts are fast. The track is fast and also requires the brake pedal and takes some skill to go fast enough in the slow kart to be allowed to drive the even faster kart. A bunch of kids work here which is no problem, surprised to see bad reviews for "customer service". I think they do a damn good job of keeping everyone safe on track. Night time is not the best time to bring children or your older parents or first timers, the pace of everyone is pretty quick which is why I keep going back. read more

Overall my kids had a great time racing, We purchased our tickets on Groupon over 24 hours in advance and the process to check in was .. okay. The customer service needs work. I want to give the benefit of the doubt but the gentleman that helped us "Dom" was the name on my receipt as "Serviced By" when we came at 5 pm on 4/3 was surrounded by young girls and talking about who they like and don't like, talking about someone's bed and that they were jumping on it. While I'm standing there waiting to see if I'm done to go race after registering my kids.I'm waiting to be acknowledged while the front is distracted by girls the whole time who I don't even know work there or not. Took my nephews here they had a blast we showed up at 3pm on a weekend to beat the crowd and we did.

We just had my son's 10th bday party here today and it was awesome, they were short staffed but i gotta say Jeremiah(sp) was a great host! for being the only person at the counter, not only did he attend to the people that were arriving but also to our party, great kid. The gas go karts were very fun and fast and the arcade kept all the kids busy, even the parents had a great time, the party room could use its own AC system because it was a bit hot but not bad, they had a fridge where we were able to put our cake and flan and they supplied the table cloths, it was not bad at all, I highly recommend this place especially when they have staff like Jeremiah, thanks SB Raceway for making it a great day for my son! read more

This place could definitely use an upgrade; the entire arcade room, if you can even call it that, has a major list of discrepancies --a lot of the arcade games are either out of order, there are coins stuck in the slots, or they simply take your money. It's not even just the arcade area, either, it's the little coin machines by the cashier; I tried to buy a rubiks cube and specifically cashed my $5 to buy it, but low and behold, there was a quarter stuck in there. When I asked the cashier if he could open it up for me with the key (since there is a key slot for it), he said he doesn't have it. For the small size of this arcade, it's unacceptable for so many issues to be happening. Looking through the other reviews, I see similar complaints, along with promises from management to work on it. I understand that the raceway is the main attraction here, but what's the point of hosting third-party merchandise that does not work? It suddenly makes sense to me why there are notes posted up about no refunds. read more

Called Friday to get the price for a party and was told I could reserve just the room. I call today on Tuesday to reserve a room same as I done last year but was told there was new management and they changed the policy so we must have a birthday party to reserve the room. When I asked when did management change I was told it's the same management and the policy has always been that way when obviously it isn't that way. Well you just lost out on $$$$$ that was going to come that day and many more but now I will never come back. I don't like being lied to and when you are a manager and can't even keep your story straight it shows this place is a joke and doesn't deserve to be open. Pathetic excuse for a manager which is sad cause the place seemed good the few times we have been but not anymore. Not another penny from me. I went to K1 speed instead. Even though I am paying more they're not changing their rules on me a couple days after i am told something by their staff. Reply to the manager: Your manager was not confused. She lied and when I pointed out holes in the story she kept trying to make something else up. The person I spoke with originally checked with management but somehow things changed when I called back. Also, your manager knows exactly what day, time and who I spoke with so your excuse is not working either so try again buddy. Went I went there a year ago I was treated the complete opposite of how I was treated this year which is why I didn't have the party there. I can assure you that your business isn't that popular other than the handful of people drinking and smoking weed in the parking lot in front of your door. This location SUCKS. Used to be great and a fun spot to hang out with friends but that isn't the case anymore. Went to this location on 4/28/2021 with a friend and each purchased the 3 race pack. The guy who was helping us on the track was extremely rude and unprofessional. He was a tall guy with dreads. I run VIP and I told him my cart wasn't working and something was wrong with it and he said it was because I was heavier than my friend so I was going slower. I have been running at this location for 10 years and never have had a problem with any carts or service. For my second race i asked to be in a different cart and he said " I'll put you in whatever f*cking cart I want ". We ended up not even running our last race and the girl helping us up front said he is always rude with customers. I don't understand how he is still working there as I see a ton of reviews similar to mine. I emailed the company on 4/29/21 and a follow up on 4/30/21, and they still haven't responded. Asked to speak to to a manager, and when I think it couldn't get worse, Alissa the manger came to help. Twice the attitude then the first girl. I brought my family when it first opened today, and let them know I have a kiddo on "the spectrum" that was really nervous about the speed. The staff was so accommodating, offering to give him a solo race if that made him more comfortable and let us know they can remotely control the speed and start him slow. He could raise a thumb if he wanted to go faster. The slow speed was enough for him and he was so proud of himself...he also enjoyed the arcade area inside while his siblings went full throttle in the next race. Secondly this is not a Mulligan's or a putt-putt golf go-kart situation these are fast go carts if your child is sensitive or frail or afraid of semi serious driving, this is not the place for him or her.
