Careful, they can't bartend- they think that Pina Coladas are made with VODKA. Like other reviewers commented, it's a toss-up on service. They're behavior would cost them business in a big city. The female was rude, didn't smile through checkout, did not suggest a way to save money through a special I noticed after the fact. Didn't smile when I inquired about the buffer, made an obloquious and obvious dismay at being asked to pull the buffer up, and ignored me when I thanked her, both coming to and going from the task... she never smiled and had a chip on her shoulder that made me want to avoid buying more games, drinks or food. The only reason I'm giving 2 stars is because the bowling is okay. The food is mediocre at best. They have no clue in what a Ruben sandwich is or what actually goes on it. I decided to order one the last time we were there, and when I received it, it had some kind of chopped meat on it, sort of like steakums. Well, that is definitely it, not a Ruben, so after looking it over, I decided since I was paying almost $10. for a sandwich I was for going to return it. So when I went to the counter and told the young dark-haired girl that the sandwich was not a Ruben, that it had the wrong meat on it, she argued with me about it. I explained to her that Reubens had corned beef on them, and that sandwich definitely didn't have that. Well, the girl once again was extremely rude and argued about what the meat was telling me it was corned beef. I tried to explain to her that it was not corned beef, and her response to me was "well what are you a meat expert?" My response was well I do know my meats. " After all, I've worked in Delis for 20 years of my life, and even if I didn't know my meats, I do know what corned beef looks and tastes like. After several minutes of her rude attitude, she then tells me she can give me something different but could not refund my money. I was not sure why, but I wasn't up to getting into that, so i decided to get a Patty Melt and of course it too was not right, it was just a cheeseburger put on rye bread with nothing else. Very disappointing!!!! Most of the foods are fried and basically taste all the same. The place is dirty. The tables are always gross like we have to wipe them down before using them. The bathrooms need a really good scrubbing and some repairs. The stall doors either don't lock right or when they do lock it hard to unlock them . This place has a lot of very young, disrespectful people that work there with attitudes and no training in customer service. All employees rude. The squirrely shrimp of a boy child at the door needs to check himself and calm the f down. The two girls at the front have zero personable skills. We were never treated and basically treated like trash the moment we asked for a lane. And the place was basically empty. We weren't allowed to bring in EMPTY sippy cups for our toddlers after we already spent over $50 on food and bowling. And then they wanted to charge us for tap water. TAP. WATER. Get real, chumps. Went here June 15, 2021 and the service has improved tremendously! Manager Jamie was very nice and took care of us right away. The gal at the concession stand also very polite and helpful. The place was spotless; not even a crumb on the floor! This is a HUGE change from a few years ago when we went there. I even saw the manager picking up trash in front of the building! Bowling was very basic but ok. A couple times the lanes shut off unexpectedly, but staff quickly got them back on. Food was ok. Bathrooms were terribly dirty. Building felt old and lacking in maintenance. Atmosphere was decorated for Halloween. Could tell that a lot of effort was put into holiday decorations. read more

The employees were very rude and and the attitudes were not friendly. We paid for 2 rounds and we were only able to play 1 1/2, when we asked the employee to help us the lady was very rude about it and didn't help us at all and lying saying that we didn't pay for the rest of our round. The equipment was also outdated and the bowling shoes had a foot odor, and also looked very old. The prices for the food and the drinks were very overpriced, it costed $1 for a tiny cup that lasted 2 minutes. I and many other reviewers suggest NOT to go to this bowling alley. From now on we would rather drive to Lake city or Valdosta. I wish I could not rate this because it does not deserve ANY STARS!!! NEVER WASTE YOUR TIME HERE THANK YOU!!!! read more

When you pull in to the parking lot you will get the impression that it is abandoned. There is zero upkeep or improvements. The inside isn't much better. The lanes are old and unkept. The bathroom was so dirty i didn't want to use it. The prices were high. We will drive to the next town for bowling from now on. read more

DO NOT GO TO THIS BOWLING ALLEY! Take the extra mile to go to Gainesville or Lake City. There was so many things that went horrible tonight. When I went to buy food I ordered Cheddar Bites for 4.50c... They gave me 10 or less bite size peices with MOZZARELLA cheese. I went to tell the lady behind the register about this and she responded with "Yeah that is cheddar. Thats how it is honey" and was very rude about the whole thing. Having to pay almost five bucks for grease bites did not leave me very happy. Last time I went I thought she was having a bad day, but when this happened and she was acting the same way, I realized shes always rude and inconsiderate. Later on, a person in the group I was with had accidently thrown the bowl in the next lane over. Here that lady come with an attitude. Shes yelling like we cant hear to stop doing that..... When she knows that this was the first time. She was plain out horrible. I was completely nice each time I talked to her because I figured she would be easy on us, but NO. She was still rude and uncouth. She never once smiled. I just couldn't believe how horrible the service she was giving me was. I left after the first frame of the second round. I was contemplating leaving before that though. How can you have a good time with friends and family with horrible impolite service? You can't. The staff was extremely rude and hassled us and we spent almost a hundred dollars in this establishment. To be treated poorly. I don't think so. I walked right in the front door past "security" with a monster in my hand and they didn't say anything but an hour later it's a huge deal. While yes there have been many negative things to say about Thunder Alley in past years, the new management have came in and are making a real effort to change that image. They have worked hard to get all the lanes up and running and are doing things to make it fun to go bowling in Live Oak again. I would like everyone to give Thunder Alley another chance and to go see the changes for yourself. You will be amazed at the difference. read more
