Maps is a little hard to find the place. It gets you close enough for it not to get you lost though. Sizable parking lot for larger gatherings. The building itself has some history to it. I didn't read into it much but from what I gathered it has been around for a long time! The reception area has a homey feel to it. A lot of wood and cabin type decor. The eating area is a little cramped with the group I was with but not unmanageable for around 100 people I'd guess. Another room is a bar style area where apps can be placed with some sitting areas. There is one pool table which is where I spent some time socializing. Last room you'll find is the back patio room which was used for the dance floor. It was warm out but it has a lot of fans on the ceiling to keep the air moving. The ceremony area was a good walk out back of the reception area. The surrounding farm land was a gorgeous sight and definitely added to the romantic feel you'd hope for. It was a pleasurable experience! I applaud the happy couple in their choice of venue, and wish you two a life full of love!

I've been meaning to review Jen Creek plantation since I attended a wedding one weekend. I stayed…read morein one of the smaller cabins with two of my granddaughters. It was near the lake and one of the places they hold rehearsal dinners, and things. These are older cabins that were brought in from my understanding and painted and some upkeep done. They are small, but very cute and serve the purpose they are intended for. You are able to cook a full meal in the kitchen if that's what you need to do. The bathroom where we stayed was plenty enough room to shower and get ready. Had a beautiful tree outside in the front yard. Might I add at the barn where the couple got married was absolutely beautiful. I know that they had gotten the tables and everything ready and they were just gorgeous. The property is stunning and very well kept. I don't think you could go wrong if you live in the area by renting this amazing space for your event. They also just rent the cabins if you want to do some wine tasting or just stay in Fisher for the weekend.

The whole property is well maintained, the owners and crew are attentive, so helpful, friendly and so accommodating! The horse drawn carriage is a wonderful touch, the fireworks were magical, and the venue options across the property are all so beautiful. I also want to say that the little houses/ cottages on the property are adorable and would be cute to stay in any time of year. They're quaint and so well decorated, welcoming and charming. Highly recommended :)

When I returned, everything was up and running. My room is away from the street. No highway traffic. I'll sleep excellently tonight. It's an older room. The carpet is clean. The bed is soft, and the shower was lukewarm. The handsink is hotter than the shower. We'll see how it goes tonight. I'll update in the morning.

The wines are muscadine based made from the vines growing next to the building. They offer a range of reds, whites, and fruit forward wines. Most are sweet with a couple of dry wines. Our server was friendly but admitted she needed to learn more about winemaking to answer our questions. We were a bit surprised to learn during our sampling that it was $15 for the 4 one-ounce pours. We probably would not have gotten two if we knew the price. We could not locate the price listed anywhere. We did purchase a couple bottles of wine but may have purchased more if the samples were not so pricy.
