They have a ton of different Pinball games, as well as racing games, and old favorites like Ms. PacMan and Galaga. I could stay in there for hours and play Ms. Pac-Man and Elvira. Got a rainy day? Here's your perfect way to kill a day. Yes. It's fun in a sunny day, too. Flippin' is a rather dinner room lined with old school pinball games. PAC Man, Mario Brothers, even Galahad. Almost all were working! You pay a flat rate by the 1/2 hour, hour or day. You can even buy season passes. The hour flies by. There's a few snacks available. And soft drinks. Remarkably, they don't try to gauge you. Everything is $1. If there's a downside, the room is very dark and not all game lights are working. That makes it hard to see the games. But we didn't come to the most points, we just came for some family fun. And that mission was successful. read more

Great flipping location! They have a lot of good titles here Plus some brand new games. There are two player joust sit down cocktail I've never seen before. A lot of the games we're pretty dark. Lots of burned-out bulbs, cheap dim LEDs, lots of broken parts. The bathroom is not located inside of the building. It is very hard keep this many games up and running on 100%. They're doing a very good job with what they have. Only two games we're completely down. Good on these guys for keeping the dream alive I keeping these games alive. This is a flat rate arcade, you can pay by hour I'll pay for the entire day. Everything's on Freeplay I know you're good to go. Free play is a great way to put some real time are game used to play but found difficult I never got that far. Now you can! The building is really cool, they're located and what appears to be an old industrial area. The party room looks like he used to be an old walk-in freezer. A panel the door on both sides with wood it looks really good. The LED lighting running through the store it's just the right amount. The guy working was nice and even gave me locations of other arcade throughout the city. From what I can gather this is the best location in Tallahassee. If you're traveling through totally worth the 20-minute detour off of I-10. read more

Darn good fun! Flippin' Great Pinball is a pinball parlor and arcade featuring 35+ well maintained games, including both new and vintage machines. You can play on brand new machines like Deadpool in the front, or Donkey Kong and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles in the back. Most machines also offer 2 player functions, so bring your friends, family, or significant others to play too! Passes allow you to play by the hour or all-day, if you want to get in some real pinball action but need some time to refuel in between with a cup of coffee and pastry from Black Dog. You can even host your birthday party or other private event here, but they do also offer regular tournament and league play. I love pinball and I love Flippin' Great Pinball! The hour pass is the way to go. You can play all of the machines if you time it right. My husband and I love coming here as a way to pass the time, engage in some friendly competition, and get off of our phones for awhile. They most ridiculous business model I've ever known. First of all, they have limited times for which you can just "walk-in" to enjoy the arcade; otherwise you have to make a reservation. Their not open on Monday and Tuesday and on Wednesday and Thursday you most make a reservation. I didn't know this. My experience: My son and I arrived on a Thursday around 7:00 the place was completely empty. The attendant stop us as soon as we entered and said we need a reservation. I ask if could make a reservation for "now" since the place was empty. He said "no, our next opening is at 8:30". So even though the place was empty, he would not allow us to give him real money to enjoy the arcade. Weird. I'm not saying I won't go back. The place looked clean and the games looked cool. I'll give them the benefit of the doubt. Perhaps the machines are delicate and costly to repair so the limit access to preserve the equipment. In any case, be sure to call before making a spontaneous visit. So don't plan on a spontaneous visit to enjoy a few games of Pinball. read more

All the pinball machines are in like new condition, with exception to the really old machines (although this is normal, as finding new parts for them is difficult.) Playing head to head you would likely only get to do one play on most all the machines in an hour. read more

The machines were alright but the A/C was out and the place was 89 degrees inside(I looked at the thermostat.) The place is way too dark in the back rendering some games unplayable. The front desk girl was polite and apologized for the hot building but did not offer a discount or anything, and I think we left quicker because of the ridiculously hot room in the middle of summer. read more

This is a really fun place if you like 80s games and pinball machines. It's really affordable to play for an hour and they even have a family rate. They really have a good selection of different pinball machines and playing them just brought a smile to my face. I wish I had a place like this closer to home. read more

All you can play pinball for a set price? Heck yes! Don't mind if I do. It is a great place to go and have endless amount of fun. My friends and I played all the machines and made it into a tournament. Since you can program the machines to count up to four players, we decided to make it into a tournament and spent a good three to four hours playing. Overall a great time! read more

You walk in and - boom - "El Toro" defies you to play. This screams "old-school" - and by that, I mean 1972. I met the principal (Rob McDole) and his two guys (Tyler & Mark). He and they all know their stuff when it comes to matters of the pinballs. I didn't count, but my recollection is that there are about 15-20 pinball machines along with some video games in the back - before you get to the party room (more on that later). What a fun find. Looking to satisfy my wife's need to shop and my son's desire to play, this area was perfect. So while my wife and oldest daughter went touring vintage and art shops, we headed to Flippin' Great Pinball. The owner told me that most of the games were from his and another person's private inventory. They had been repairing machines for some time and so they wanted to combine that, with an open house night they did at the repair shop the result was FGP and a reasonably priced hour (or day) of fun. Everyone had their favorites: My youngest child loved Mario Bros. My son loved Lethal Weapon and Star Trek (NG) I liked Whirlwind, but Lethal Weapon was a close second. They also have electronic video games with various versions of Mortal Combat, the most interesting being a CapCom vs Marvel game I could not master. Overall, a very fun experience. read more

We really enjoyed coming here! They have a great deal for families with kids - $20 for an hour of play time. Several games were out of order, but in all, they had a great selection. I broke my leg and was on a knee scooter- the back portion of the location was up a couple of steps, so it is not completely handicapped accessible. I have to admit, my 8 year old son gets credit for this find. He came home last week with straight A's on his report card and one of the "ata boy" coupons included were a free hour at Flippin Great! Anyone over 40 can appreciate a good pinball machine (yes, that includes yours truly). They have a great assortment of machines along with some old school video games like Donkey Kong and Galaga (the only game my sister could whoop my ass on). The attendant on duty was very friendly and even though a few games were out of order, there were plenty that were working fine. I like the concept of being charged by the hour, rather than having to bring a roll of quarters or forced to buy tokens. OK LOVE this place. Its a good thing I dont live in Tally anymore or I would be here all the time! Such a great assortment of games, including some arcade style ones. The owners are great and obviously know their stuff because they are fixing the machines immediately if anything happens. Had a great few hours here and definitely wish I had come earlier to play some more. The only "weird" thing is the bathroom is outside of the building and you need a key for it, but its a full bathroom, not a port a potty. The party package is a great deal too! Aug 3, 2018: Flippin Great Pinball has the goods, small in size but wall to wall with classic pinball machines. There were a couple of pinball machines not in operation, but the ones that were working had patrons grinning ear to ear as they tried their best to rack up points without tilting! The sounds of the machines under vigorous assault and the scurry of people playing was fun to watch and be a part of. It is somewhat small and they keep it a little dark to heighten the pinball machine lights and sounds. Seems like Pinball is back in fashion again, and Flippin Great Pinball can walk you through your childhood memories for mere pocket change. Priceless. read more

My 6yr old son went here on one of his days in summer camp back in June and has not stopped talking about how he would be having his birthday here. We just had his party there this past weekend and I was so very pleased. The atmosphere was great and the staff as even better. Our party had kids aged 4-8 years old and we even had several of the parents join in. Several guest said this was the best birthday party and I would have to agree especially for the price. Flippin' Great is an awesome spot to explore a variety of pinball games. It's located right behind Proof, and is a great addition to the area. We had a few beers at Proof before walking over to play some pinball. I like that you pay by the hour or day rather than per game. I'm not the best pinball player so it's cool to be able to play unlimited games without putting coins into the machines. The owner is incredibly friendly and knowledgeable about all things pinball. He talked to me about many of the games and his enthusiasm and passion for the game were readily apparent. I will definitely be back to play again! read more
