People got sick and couldn't even eat. It ruined the whole wedding. The next day I called the President of Function Events and told her the situation. She didn't even try to keep my business by saying it was their mistake or that they've made improvements since then. She just said "Okay I get it" and to email her to cancel it. My wedding was 3 months out so they had more than enough time to find another event for that day. I tried to get my deposit back and they declined it and added in a bunch of "additional fees". I tried calling the company multiple times but it sent me straight to voicemail so I'm assuming they blocked my number after I cancelled. Everything then was done via email, I pleaded for some of the money back and they would not budge so I ended up filing a dispute with my credit card company. I would really save yourself the hassle and steer clear of this company, it is not worth the money you think you will save. Take my word for it. Pay a little more and go with a more reputable caterer.

Only to be provided sams club bucket of chicken salad, pulled pork, and stale buns that the caterer daphne did not even use sanitary process to serve the lack luster food. when confronted about the food. she played coy and said she left food at her house and will have to go back and get it. 2 hours later to only return with fried chicken fingers from walmart. the servers she provided did not know how to set up the equipment leaving our company to do the set up. The servers were also there to act as gamers for our casino games. Neither server knew how to play any casino games. But instead decided they were going to partake in the festivities of the party. This women needs to stop scamming businesses and people out of their money and needs to be reported to the better business bureau. To which will be my next action. when informed that we will be taking legal action against her. she has disappeared. when i try to contact the corporate offices. Their number is no longer in service. Please do not get scammed by this disgraceful excuse of a catering company.

While I am sure that they build the meal to the budget and event type, each day has brought a delicious hot entree (for example, today was a fantastic vegetarian spinach and cheese pasta roll), a salad (the watermelon and arugula salad was pretty darn tasty), sometimes a side (if you have the cornbread, you MUST use the flavored butter spread), and always a great dessert (homemade chocolate chip cookies with crumbled bacon....need I say more?). Angela (on of the partners) and her team have been really attentive, including remembering the drink selections of those of us on the interview committee and bringing them out to us when we arrive. And they have been respectful of the meeting environment, including quickly and unobtrusively clearing things away while we meet with the candidates (or, today, silently serving individual warm bread puddings right after lunch was cleared). And the set-up of the serving platters and drinks is top notch. One of the things that they specialize in, and like to do, is catered parties in peoples homes. Their team arrived right on time and they were courteous and helpful from start-to-finish. The (incredibly delicious) food was prepared and arranged beautifully right on time, and they were flexible to bring everything out as we needed it. They helped me move tables, offered suggestions for presentation, and offered to wrap up and set aside dessert for the bride and groom to enjoy later. Throughout the evening, they were on-point in service and attitude. They played a huge role in ensuring the reception was a success. I would work with them again in a heartbeat.
