After taking my truck back to Throgmorton's, and leaving it for about a week, I am happy to report that it the problems I was having were corrected 100%! David did an absolutely fantastic job this time around, and I have to say that I couldn't possibly be happier with the repairs to my frame. The uneven tire wear seems to have stopped, the offset and camber of the wheels appears perfect, and more importantly, it drives exactly the way it is supposed to now! So I'm avoiding a drunk driver and this curb comes out of nowhere to take a chunk out of one of my rims. I took my truck in to get new rims and tires and found out my frame was bent as my truck wouldn't align. I then took my truck to Throgmortons to get the frame straightened and my new set of wheels aligned. The good: Now, I'm no frame/auto expert so I truly can't rate the job they did on my frame. I assume they actually did a good job straightening it, BUT: -My truck handles ok and doesn't vibrate one bit. The job didn't cost me a fortune and Dave was very personable so they do get an extra star. . The bad: For starters, when I got my truck back I noticed a dent above my rear wheel. This was a sizeable dent that made the trim no longer attach completely to the body. Weird thing is this dent was backwards. It was created FROM THE INSIDE so unless I hit a bird bouncing up from the freeway floor, i don't see how I could've done it myself. Birds ricocheting off a highway? I would've noticed. I was driving at night and noticed that my fog lights were not on. In my inspection I noticed the FOG LIGHTS WERE NOT EVEN PLUGGED IN. Now I know that they have to take the whole front end apart to straighten the frame. Cool. Thing is that if you take something apart, you better know how to put it back together. Lastly, my alignment was off, truck was pulling. I called Dave and he said "bring it on by, I'll have a look" And he did. He put my truck back on the rack and this time I got to watch. Now, again, I'm no auto expert, but I know that for the last 20 or 30 years we've had the advent of computerized, laser precision wheel alignment. Well there were no lasers here. It took me a few months to notice my tire tread, but you know what, even after 2 shots at aligning my truck these guys didn't do a good job. Now I'm off to buy new tires in the next few months, and part of me wants to send Dave a bill... A good frame shop - maaaaybe, but this is definitely not a well equipped auto/body shop. read more

I brought my 2003 325i BMW into Throgmortons Frame Clinic when I needed some attention for my rear bumper. My rear bumper was falling off, and I needed to bring it in right away to make sure it before it started dragging on the ground. I was going out of town for a few days, but wanted to shop around a little, so I could get it fixed when I returned from vacation. After visiting Dave's place for an estimate, he was really helpful and kind, and he temporarily connected my bumper for my safety, so I could still use my car and he gave me a great price. The price was about half of what it was when I needed my bumper replaced 4 years ago. Dave had the best price and I felt very comfortable with him as a person and wasn't worried about him ripping me off. My car was completed in about 5 days and looked fantastic. It actually looked better than my previous bumper fix for double the price. He also fixed a couple of other small items for me at a minimal price. Dave was a referred to me and I couldn't have been more pleased with his customer service as well as the repair work to my car. His labor rates are extremely competitive and anyone looking for body work or frame work, should definitely give Throgmortons a call. Fantastic job. Thx Dave. I took my 2016 GMC Yukon there after backing into.... correction a concrete post jumping into my passenger front quarter panel lol. The post left a pretty good crease that I figured would require a new body part because it was on a body line. But with plenty of shop knowledge and a bunch of experience the dent was fixed like new with a perfect color match!!! Hats off to the gentlemen of Throgmortons Frame Clinic!!!! read more
