I had mentioned at the beginning before my sons trial that my son is autistic and therefore is a runner. The class was o.k, the teacher wasn't very warm towards my son or any of the kids actually . She wasn't mean but I would say just a very dry personality for someone who works with children. After I wrote my review about the class being ok but not recommending it for other children that may be special needs because of the fact that they had the doors open and the teacher didn't really Try to assist me when she saw me struggling.. I got an email with all these classes that would be suitable for my son . I was upset that these classes all of a sudden became available until after my review . I responded and then never got anything back . Just feels like I was ignored once again and that person just wanted to be able to check something off their list to say that they "provided" me with more options . I don't feel heard . Again , don't recommend for families with special needs .

The interior is nice and spacious, with lots of mat space for the kids. They attended class each day from 8:30 am until 12;30 and we picked them up when they were done to drive them home. We stopped in to watch the last ten minutes or so of class. The class seemed very well organized, with all kids engaged, and being attended to. Our nephew was excited to show us how he had learned a tumbling run ending in a flip in just five days! As a former teacher myself, I appreciated the way that the instructor addressed each child by name, lining them up safely and comfortably to wait outdoors for their parents to pick them up!

They were waiting and ready for us when we arrived, they cleaned up after, they had a plan and stuck to it. Great for all of the kids we invited (ages 2-10). Regular gym: I'm grateful for how serious they are about training and growth. They have a plan, they're watching and adjusting as my child grows, they do regular reviews, there's a space for me and my other kids to wait while class is happening. It's fun but it's not just play time. My kid couldn't be happier and neither could we! Coach Aubrey is awesome.

At least in the pool side building. the temperature is regularly 75+ in there and there are no fans circulating air. It makes it pretty difficult to focus and get and workout to the extent I would like. I find myself calling it quits earlier just due to uncomfortabilty. I enjoy the setup here and how it's not crowded but especially in the summer months I would surely appreciate at least a fan or two to circulate some air. I sure hope they are able to do something about the temperature/air circulation in there soon.

Part of the reason I left was due to the shape it was in. Run down and needing major updates, it didn't make sense to pay for such an expensive membership to go to a gym that was so neglected. We recently moved to north county and we were exploring the gyms in the area. Got a day pass to check out the Atascadero location. We are nothing but disappointed to see how outdated and poorly maintained the place is. The building smells old. The rockwall is "out-of-order" and has been for what sounds like years. The fans and ceiling tiles need to be replaced. Sure, it has everything but all the equipment and amenities are poorly maintained. The equipment is quite outdated. I called and called no one answered. Finally a girl answers the phone- I tell her my situation, I'm moving, I need to cancel. She says okay, give me all your information and I'll relay this and get it canceled. She assured me there were no more steps for me to take. I got a charge on my card the next month. I called back and explained and they denied I ever tried to cancel. I went in person to confront them, the lady helping me was so difficult and made me feel awful. She said it was my fault for not coming in person to cancel and they will not refund me the month I got charged for. I still think about the way I was treated when face to face with that lady. I'm mad I didn't pry more- such a bummer.
