Her evaluation was exacting and thorough. I was very impressed. She explained every step she was about to do and What is was meant to accomplish. I felt immediately safe in capable hands. She is specifically a hand therapist. I was given print out directions to guide me with eggar to do at home, to keep improving , and optionally an online set of directions. Furthermore, she explained various splints that may assist in my healing. She washed hands several times and cleaned equipment as we proceeded. I started PT in May, hoping to ease the pain in my old, arthritic shoulder, and to postpone a replacement. The shoulder is much better, and I have gained a lot of strength and flexibility. Twice during the course of shoulder therapy I have presented with a new problem. Both times, they got me warmed up, examined me to determine the problem, and then attacked the problem. After weeks of going back and forth with Coast Physical Therapy and the insurance company for my workers comp injury, making appointments then they would cancel them, promising to call me to reschedule and never did. They ultimately refused to treat me and declined the worked comp payments. This is not how you treat an individual that gave 37 years of his life to public safety.
