We were greeted in the parking lot by Greg who gave us some quick advice, and then we went inside and were helped by Jeremy, who managed to squeeze us in on a Sunday afternoon, even though he was busy with other stuff. And then Susie later helped with a super friendly and helpful checkout. And the bill was so reasonable (low dare I say!). And this comes on the heels of other expert and friendly help from their crew in both the ski and bike department (thank you, Stan, for excellent ski advice during the annual swap!). We come from a ski racing background back East, so we have always been particular about fit and performance. You feel it immediately when something is off, and you remember the people who get it right. It has been really rewarding to watch them build Olympic Bootworks over the years and develop things like the Heel-N-Loc footbed. It simply works. You feel more secure, more comfortable, and it has made a noticeable difference not only on the mountain but even in my son's soccer cleats. That level of consistency over this many years is rare. If you want your feet properly supported and your gear dialed in, Buck, Herschel, and the team are the people to see. For me, this place is more than a shop. Otherwise, for those looking to rent a snowboard package or ski package, it's about $50 for one day. Make sure to use the 10% coupon they have on their site to save some money. If you have the time to do it, make sure to pick up your skis/snowboards the day before after 4PM. They let you pick up the day before so the mad rush in the morning of people renting equipment won't slow you down. It comes at no additional cost. You must return all equipment by 7PM.
