    Strawberry swag bowl
    Ashwini A.

SERVICE - located on the side of a big shopping complex - plenty of parking available - indoor is small with counter seating for a few people - limited outdoor seating at one table with a few chairs - service was great! The girl at the counter was the only one when I went and she was really helpful with deciding between options and allowing for substitutions - bowls take a few minutes to make since they are blended fresh - no restrooms available MENU - smoothies and bowls with many components made in house - all vegan/vegetarian - average price FOOD - strawberry swag (9/10): strawberry banana avocado smoothie with housemade vanilla protein and almond milk swirled with coconut cream and topped with berries, banana, granola, cacao nibs, and almond butter. This was a custom order as they said they could made any of their smoothies into bowls. I swapped out the honey for almond butter which they make in house. The bowl was pretty with the white and pink swirl base and the vibrant fruits on top. It was evident that the ingredients were fresh and there was not a lot of added sweeteners. I liked the contrast between the tart berries on top and the sweet base. The addition of the protein powder made it a filling breakfast. WOULD I GO BACK? Yes! I love the number of fun smoothie and bowl options.

No Erewhon in OC? Not a problem! I was so BERRY excited to try out @thrivejuicelab , a hidden-gem smoothie and juice bar that serves up organic smoothies, pressed juices, and açaí/smoothie bowls for very reasonable prices! I was so impressed with how high quality and fresh their ingredients were, and I definitely felt like their menu options were healthier and much lighter in sugar in comparison to other popular spots. Service was also very friendly, helpful and fast, and I appreciated how there was plenty of free parking available in the plaza. Highly recommend checking them out (especially for their Strawberry Swag, which reminds me of the Hailey Bieber Erewhon smoothie but way cheaper) at any of their locations in Costa Mesa, Newport Beach and Laguna Niguel! We were on the hunt for Açaí bowls and it was nice that Thrive opens before 8/9am unlike many other places, so we decided to try it out! I saw many good reviews, so I had high hopes, but for the price we found it super underwhelming...you could get a large size elsewhere for the same price if not cheaper, and I found the toppings on the signature bowls super limiting. It was super small, the açaí itself wasn't the best quality, and the toppings were lack luster, it was hard to find a good option on the menu, especially for the price. We're local and we thought the service was really friendly and we definitely want to come back and try the smoothies per all the good reviews, and I will update! Overall our first experience had great service and hours, but the food itself wasn't great and the price.... I would skip the açaí.

Got the strawberry swag! It was literally so yum! The girls working there are so sweet, there was a line but they wasted no time getting those drinks out!

This plaza is on the side of vons in case you happen to park on the other side. I went here in search for "erewhon" smoothie dupes as advertised on tiktok. They do have similar smoothies to the coconut cloud (blue lagoon i assume or a new yacht club one), but no direct dupe to the hailey beiber which I tried to DIY. The smoothies are expensive for the size, but half the price of erewhons ( 12-15). I was a bit disappointed about the appearance as I expected to be more coconut cream but it turned to be sparse dollops alongside the cup. There was no distinct coconut flavor at all from it. I did add almond butter, which ended up overpowering the smoothie flavor. But i also tried my friends smoothie and it tasted a bit watery. They do have special sprouted almond milk and various kinds of sweeteners like date syrup. But overall, I dont think the flavor matched what I expected of a erewhon "dupe". I wish the coconut swirl was thicker and more present considering it is an add on. Service was fast and rather casual. Limited seating. The chocolate coconut bliss ball is actually quite good (not too sweet, slight cocoa tang and date taste, mostly chewed like almonds). They have a lot of vegan various snacks/raw desserts and even coconut cult (not priced)

Post dance class treat!!! Friend suggested we go here after dance class and I'm so glad we went. They offer organic, gluten-free, dairy-free: various smoothies, cold-pressed juices, acai bowls, plant-based desserts, coffee & tea. Got the Pitaya bowl without pineapple. It was refreshing and delicious. Everything tastes and looked fresh. They had a few bar seating in the shop, but not a lot. Service was fast, but then again it was just us the time we came in. It was good, but it's also similar to other places that offer acai bowls. If you've eaten one, you will know exactly what to expect. There's not anything distinct for me, but it doesn't meant I won't be back. It's a good place to stop in for a snack or refresher.

Great service and extensive menu options from smoothies, juices, bowls, coffee, snacks and desserts. We ordered two smoothies and alkaline water. I wasn't impressed with their antioxidant smoothie; however the protein smoothie was delicious with silky and smooth texture, bold flavor with no aftertaste. The thrive bottle glass we kept as a souvenir. The best forty dollars glass bottle ever spent.

So this spot in Costa Mesa and in Newport Beach are both a hit or miss when it comes to quality which is quite disappointing especially when you're spending about $400 a week on juices .... Please step up the quality control

Happy to say I found my new hyper fixation. Their acai bowls are unbelievably fresh and full of sweetness and flavor. I personally like this place more than the acai places where you make your own bowl. I'm obsessed with their pb acai bowl. The portion size is pretty solid and their acai doesn't melt when I togo it home. The store has super decor and the staff is always super friendly. Love this spot!!

Yes, I'd recommend! If you're looking for something refreshing, healthy and fun this is it. The service was straight forward. It's a small juice bar store. A few sitting inside but I enjoyed my bowl and drink outside.

So I ordered a strawberry swag ($15) but it was definitely worth it, the location is in Costa Mesa and I'd say this is a dupe if not better than the one that Erewhon has. Give this place a try if you've been wanting to try authentic smoothie!

Tried the blue spirulina smoothie since they said it was their most popular item and I saw a bunch of amazing reviews on this. Although it's a pricey smoothie, it did NOT disappoint! I was initially concerned about the ginger since I'm not a huge fan of ginger, but the ginger flavor was actually quite mild! It was not too sweet and had great texture. It makes me super excited to try their other flavors as well as their acai bowl next!

Anna was of great help during my first visit, as well as when I had my first ever acai bowl. She not only assisted me in deciding on my order but also provided excellent insights by describing each option, which helped me understand what to expect. The maca love smoothie is a taste sensation! Cinnamon made it even better--like a herbal chocolate hug with banana. Plus, I ordered the Thrive and PB acai bowl for extra deliciousness! I have yet to taste them, but if their smoothie is good then I bet the bowl is even better! This location offers a charming atmosphere for both indoor and outdoor seating, accommodating a significant number of guests despite its small size. The lively music contributes to a vibrant and energetic ambiance.

Hardcore is my favorite "green juice" that has just enough cucumber and lemon to make it taste nice and fresh.

It had that perfect balance of tart and sweet that's so hard to find. You can tell they use fresh ingredients because it didn't have that artificial aftertaste at all. The staff was incredibly energetic and helped me navigate the menu since it was my first time trying their citrus blends. The shop itself was spotless and had a really chill vibe, which I appreciated. The only reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 is that the wait time was a bit longer than expected for a single drink, even though it wasn't super crowded. That being said, the quality of the juice made it worth the wait. I'll definitely be back to try more of their lime-based drinks soon!

Of course I went with mango & it did not disappoint. It was amazing. They do have chia puddings, but I didn't get any. I added classic granola, banana, strawberry, blueberries and mango. They also have pineapples and apples. Two types of butters, peanut and almond (didn't try). They have different seeds, pink salt, Agave syrup, cacao, matcha and cocoa powder. I didn't add any of that. They do have a chamoy one which looks so yummy & I can't wait to try it. Will update once I do. I really wish they had a location near Arcadia or Pasadena. I would be there every single day lol. Service was good, they're open late & seating available to enjoy your bowl there. There's also Nguyen's Kitchen at the same location.
