She placed her order and I could tell from her smile they had done what they needed to do when they handed her the bag. I think it was the sheer weight... There are chains that you know when they hand you the bag if it's going to be a good day... You can tell if it's loaded...! Or did they skimp on your order? We pulled into a nearby parking spot in the lot... I already had my Runza waiting for me. She lifted the sandwich out of the bag and it dwarfed her hands. She looked at me and said... "Now that's a sandwich!" I could tell she enjoyed every bite. This Schlotzsky's is in a standalone building adjacent to a strip of businesses. It's easy to access and there is plenty of nearby parking. Service in the drive through was great and the sandwich she got was on point! Shes had ones that weren't from other locations... I ordered my usual small original with extra cheese and it did not disappoint. It was a busy lunchtime, but the line moved quickly and the staff was friendly. Someone brings the order to your table but then you bus your own table. It's such a unique sandwich, there's no other like it. Planning to make a return trip next week!

My husband got the tuna salad sandwich, and that was actually pretty good (he gave me half of his since I didn't like mine at all). It did have some flavor and wasn't super dry like mine. So because his sandwich was good, I am upgrading my review from a two star to a three. Overall, I would say to skip Jersey Mike's if you're not a fan of pretty basic/bland sandwiches.
