As for me I found a nice pair of Fila mid high sneakers at a clearance price I just could not pass! Normally they were $79.00(which some in the other section were still showing this price on the other rack) for just $25.00. But with me signing up for the membership for free and they had more discount that day, my Fila came to only $18.00 including tax! I had on my big Kool Aid smile as we left the store but my buddy passed up on some great deals(why Stanley??).As a habit now I always stop by here to see what on sale/clearance. The staff were friendly, and they were doing a spin the wheel gimmick for Christmas trivia. That made the shopping environment fun. I always find the prices at Shoe Carnival to be reasonable, and I especially love the BOG One 1/2 off. I wish Shoe Carnival would stick to what they do best, which is sell shoes, and lose the accessories. Doing so would give this location a little more room for some shoes selections they didn't have and I was looking for.

"GB Shoes Warehouse" is a regional footwear outlet in South Carolina, North Carolina, and Georgia. This store is similar to the national D*W that many of us shoe lovers frequently patronize. I had a pair of pink, suede Merrell snow boots I purchased back in November 2005. For ten (10) plus years, these little gals surely performed the job excellently. They took me through Wisconsin winter, Pennsylvania blizzard, and are still standing strong in my closet. I found another pair of cold-weather boots by Sorel for $115 (orig. $230). I didn't think that looking for snow boots would be difficult because of the lack of demand for a warm climate. The cashier told me to put them on the next day since the weather in SC will be in the 40s. Well, that won't be necessary. They expanded their sales floor and now men's and women's apparel is also featured. "GB Shoes Warehouse" has their own loyalty program, the GB preferred card. My in-laws told me that they are cardholders and receive coupons consistently. Select brands would receive a significant discount ($20-$30 off). I would be willing to sign for a reward card if I were to live locally.

You never know until you know then you can get the shoe to help your gait. For me my ankle pronates in when I step so need a well padded inner sole shoe. The staff identified that in the Brooks brand the Adrenaline was best for me. Ever since I have always got the same shoe and never have foot pain. As far as this store it is large comparatively to competitors lots of clothes, socks, night light type equipment. You are free to step outside and run in parking lot with the shoe you are trying to decide on. Running shoes are pricey IMO but considering how much time you spend on your feet it is money well spent.

I have never had a proper foot/shoe fitting before and had just tried on what feels best in store, but after having them look at my feet, they kindly pointed out two shoes - one which I had tried on before and didn't love, and the second one which I had never heard of. Welp, the issue was solved when they let me know the ones I had previously tried on my own were too narrow and I needed Wide shoes. The shoes they provided were excellent. Even though I took nearly an hour deciding on which pair to get, I ended up getting both shoes since they both felt great. The person helping me did so for about the first 20 or so minutes and then allowed me to explore them on my own since there was a line of people needing to be fit. I went again this week and received the same great service as I did before. They helped my wife get fitted and choose shoes and she has not stopped raving about how impressed she was with the service and shoe quality she got. They did have shoes on sale, just not the style or type we were looking for. They even had plenty of running clothes on sale. Both of us stand on our feet for 8-12 hours a day, and these shoes will help us stay comfortable and energized. I will definitely be coming back every time I need a new pair of running shoes or if I'm looking for something a little extra in the realm of running.

The prices were on the higher end and well above what I typically pay for retail items. But overall, it was an enjoyable shopping experience. All the store displays were neat and visually appealing. The products they sold were trendy and high quality--tons of designer brands. The employees were friendly and helped when needed. The only complaint was the price point, but other than that, and it was a nice store to shop at.
