Visited this thrift store for their big annual discount sale. The back half of the store (old…read morewarehouse) reeks of cigarette smoke. It was impossible to determine if the smell was coming from something inside the large room (i.e., furniture, rugs, items, etc.) or if that was just the way it always smelled. They keep the children's toys and items in this part of the store, among many other things. I've had severe asthma my whole life, so even just being in that room was enough to make me start coughing. They have so much of their own decor that it can be confusing when trying to figure out what is actually for sale and what belongs to the store. Additionally, the store does not individually price a large amount of items (which are clearly for sale!) which is very frustrating (some areas have signs w/prices, others do not). Items that have been priced, vary greatly. For example, a very cheap purse might be listed at $20+ while a name brand purse is listed at $8. They have a section of designer/name brand items that is also marked up significantly. It would make sense if their prices were a fraction of what the item cost brand-new, but they're out here charging $35+ for very used leggings! And they weren't even Lululemon! The cashier was disengaged and barely acknowledged shoppers, despite the long line. It takes .10 seconds to make eye contact and greet a person. There are so many better, more reasonably priced stores in the area, so this is a no for me.

Tough to lose a brand new customer over $6 even with the return of the item still pristine. Just experienced the most ridiculous and hateful transaction between a woman & the cashier at this…read morestore. The woman was trying to buy a purse that she picked up from the hanging wall and when she went to the cashier the cashier decided that it was not marked for "enough money". After the cashier checked several places inside the purse to see that there was more than one sticker price, all with the same price, on it she then insinuated that the woman took the purse from the back storage area that is closed off to customers!! Wow, just wow. I promptly put my few items down where I stood & walked out. I will not return because there is no charity that should allow their personnel to treat customers in that manner. Sad society when donated items are priced then Salvation Army personnel decides they want the item & raise prices at the register. The older gentleman that was working the door for donation drop-offs seemed dumbfounded when he heard the cashier insinuate that the woman was taking product out of the back room. Makes you wonder if the cashier will walk out with the product tonight when she leaves.

Nope, she was still an employee; still shockingly unprofessional, aggressive, and having a very "in your face" attitude when offering assistance. She even turned off the store's lights 10 minutes before closing and refused to turn them back on. During that time, she was shouting insults and complaints to another employee, specifically targeting me and another shopper. I sincerely regret not contacting corporate immediately after my second (and final) visit. It's been about a year now, and I still get pissed off whenever I drive past that store location

I can find discounted brand new items or on clearance at the regular stores cheaper than them. I noticed a lot of broken stuff that are on shelves, too. Goodwill is a big joke!
