I had one problem with the billing I did not understand. I was charged for a driving and delivery but the mileage was free. I called to get clarification but didn't get any. The person I spoke to said she was an assistant manager but I could hear someone in the background coaching her on what to say. When I asked to talk to them she said they were talking on the phone not to her. I didn't appreciate being patronized like that. Because she could not explain and we were not getting anywhere she took the price off. I still never understood why that charge was on there. I liked the rep that went over the details of the car with me. He was very friendly, nice and polite. He said he had just started. He had a good disposition. I hope he keeps it.

On this day (a Thursday), they only had one full size available but, thankfully, it was a Ford Fusion and I'm a fan of those when I'm renting. The car was in pretty good shape and well cleaned. It looked good and smelled clean - I can't express how important that is to me and how infrequently I can say that when I'm renting all across the country. It even came equipped with a detachable toll tag which I really appreciated having the option to use. I didn't need to use it during this rental but I was glad to have that in case I did. Being that this is a very small local office, don't expect a lot full of cars like when you're renting from the airports. I can see how that can be an issue during busier times but I guess I lucked out this time so it's all good. PS: this is a combo Avis/Budget location so they will ask you which brand your reserved with (assuming you did).

On top of that the manager only works on Thur and Fri it's hard to support black business sometimes!! It's my wedding weekend!! No extra help to assist with booking a reservation at the airport for the inconvenience. Now I'm on a fast track and time schedule to get another vehicle ASAP.

She went above and beyond by giving me great advice on which areas are safe, where to eat, and where to have a good time during my stay. She was warm, personable, and we even bonded because her son is joining the military and I served for about eight years myself. I was able to share some advice and experiences, and it truly felt like talking to a friend, not just a rental agent. Erin was my return agent, and she made that process just as smooth. She was super nice, extremely helpful, and even caught that I had left a few items in the vehicle--something I tend to do since I'm forgetful. Her attentiveness and hospitality really stood out. Both Shar and Erin represent Alamo/National with professionalism and genuine care for customers. I left feeling taken care of, and I highly recommend this location!

Shuttle service to and from the airport was amazing and both drivers were extremely kind. Everyone that I interacted with here was incredibly helpful and friendly. I didn't have to wait at all when I got the car and my gas was even comped upon returning! Plus it was very affordable. My first time renting through Alamo and I would absolutely recommend it to anyone!
