1 Star - Would Not Trust With High-End Garments…read more I had a very disappointing experience with Tracey's Cleaners in Montebello and want to warn others before they trust this business with expensive clothing. When I picked it up, the jacket had significant damage that was not present before cleaning. The bonded seams had ruin and were peeling apart throughout the garment, and the down insulation had become heavily clumped, causing the jacket to lose much of its warmth and functionality. The jacket is now in a condition where it cannot be worn as intended. What was even more frustrating was the response from the owner. Instead of taking responsibility or attempting to work toward a fair resolution, I was told the jacket was "too old." If they believed the garment was too fragile or risky to clean, that should have been disclosed before any work was performed. She even inspected the jacket prior and claim, Whats worse she sends it to 3rd party to do the work and says there are the best. She will play games with you. Went back there 5 times waiting for an response and no solution. I understand that accidents can happen, but businesses should communicate honestly, obtain customer approval before proceeding, and stand behind their work when something goes wrong. Unfortunately, that did not happen here. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME with your EXPENSIVE OR DElicate items. Because no reasonable resolution was offered, pursuing recovery of my losses through Small Claims Court is the only option. If you own luxury, technical, bonded, or high-value garments, I would strongly recommend exercising caution before bringing them here.

She tried to have me fix it by going into a out of order white machine to get towels out of it to throw it on the ground to cover the water - NO URGENCY And it can cause damage to customers inside , no one close enough to put up a wet floor sign. I also asked for a re wash on her behalf (4.75) because the amount of water that spilled out seems like they will leave a lot of soap residue on my clothes, which is not good for my skin. ( sidebar as a business owner myself I can stand to lose five dollars on allowing somebody to be redeemed for a malfunction on a machine that is completely out of date and not being close enough to handle the situation accordingly)
