She made it fun to shop there & was very knowledgeable about where to locate certain items, such as baskets, decorative pillows, etc. The last few times I have gone to Inn Style, I was doing a merciless "trim down my belongings campaign", and I was happy to see that Marcella was now working at the Donation Area, outside. She was so kind, and STRONG! She unloaded boxes and bins of my household items & clothing, making it look easy. She thanked me profusely, but I felt like she was the one doing me a favor. I have shopped many Thrift Stores, but Inn Style has the most friendly workers, the nicest merchandise, & the best cause for being in business. I just love to go there, find treasures, and be helped by sincere, genuinely nice people, like Marcella. You can tell she enjoys her job, believes in the cause ( supporting the Samaritan Inn for homeless people & families), and is a genuinely happy person.

Hubby was off looking at clothes of all things. He actually found a great deal on a men's puffer jacket (Hawke & Co.) for $10! There were a couple of tiny tears around one elbow and I sewed the hanging nylon and with all the puffer action, you can't even tell I repaired it. He is very happy with his purchase! Since it was right before Halloween, we were looking at costumes, etc. I found a cute girls pumpkin dress and while I was there I sent a pic to my niece, but she already had something similar. They had everything arranged so nicely and the store was well lit. They had some very nice brand name clothing items and the prices were great! And, the best thing of all is that the proceeds from the store benefit the counseling and services available to patrons that need their help.

They will also hold your found items at the front so you don't have to carry them around. My only recommendation is that sellers should put prices on items so they are a bit more visible, especially if they are up high or are heavy items. So many heavy things, I had to pick up and look at the bottom of the item for a price. I can handle the lifting, it just seems to be a liability to have so many people lifting items to find prices.
