NEVER go Here. The people do Not care about their customers and they barely speak english. They tried to sell me a COOLER (for drinks) for 70 DOLLARS - Agreeing with me that it was only $7. And then I specifically asked the cashier if these shoes I wanted to buy were $3.98 and she said yes. I asked her multiple times and she said "Yes", 4 Dollars. I knew something was wrong with the price, but I couldn't see the price of everything (on the receipt) until the purchase was completed. Low and behold, these shoes sold to me were not 3.98 - they were 40 DOLLARS. I would not be making such a big deal about this, But- not even 2 MINUTES after I made this purchase, I instinctively viewed my receipt and found out the Cashier had lied to me repeatedly. - When I went to rightly go ask to be refunded - I was REFUSED not even TWO Minutes after my purchase. I do not ever make these types of reviews, But this is Truly UNACCEPTABLE and someone needs to be fired. Again - Do Not go Here. It's Way overpriced and they treat you terribly. read more

OMG I love this place! There are so many hidden thrift stores in the DFW area. I avoided this one because of where it is located. I felt safe in the parking lot and very safe in the store. It has all the necessary qualities of a great thrift store. Very clean and organized, fantastic inventory and incredible bargains. My otnly complaint is that they staple the price tags on the clothing labels. I couldn't see the brand/size on some items. Definitely take a trip out here! read more

I prefer this particular location than the others. It's cleaner and more organized. Also the housewares and Knick-Knack items seem to be better quality and the prices are lower than the other stores... perhaps because it is actually the "outlet" store of the Thrift Giant chain. very sketchy people walk into this store, e.g dudes with needle marks on their arms. the security guard up front gave me a sliver of safety. dressing rooms close an hour before closing time yet there's atleast 10 employees walking around, if cleaning is the issue then i'm very confused on that. had to try stuff on infront of a mirror while creepy old men wander and stare. some of the employees were sweet, others passive aggressive. found some things that were pretty nice, VERY cheap. probably just the area that isn't the greatest. read more

I'm a thrift store junkie. I believe you can always find the perfect piece if you are prepared to look for it amongst the many, many t-shirts and terrible elastic waisted pants. When I saw the huge, cannot-miss-it sign saying THRIFT GIANT OUTLET, I laughed to myself. A thrift outlet store? Man, the things must be 50 cents. ...They are. They have certain deals every day of the week, and sure enough every Monday, EVERYTHING is 50 cents, and TUESDAY, it's 25 cents. Can I just brag to the world that I found the most perfect 80s leather dress FOR 50 CENTS????????????? You have to remember that like all thrift stores, it's 90% absolute trash, but that 10% is worth it. I am loyal to my thrift stores. I will be loyal to this one... Visited thrift giant all the way from Tampa Florida. Super messy ... over priced thrift store. I was really suprised at how over priced there stuff was.. a lot of people swore by this thrift store .. and I totally get it if this is the only thrift store around town but it's not. They really didn't have anything great. Everything was old and worn. Nothing brand new or huge brand names. This store goes from one extreme to the other. Sometimes I stop in here and find absolutely nothing, other times I've stopped in here and found several items that I've had to have. Mostly a good selection for clothes, some household items, a little bit of furniture. But I always enjoy stopping in just to see what they have. read more

This is where good thrift stores come to die. Seriously. If you have the patience to sift through clothing that obviously has already been picked through at other stores, is damaged and dirty and is well worth less than $1.99, then by all means, this is your place. If, like me, you prefer your thrift items to be in wearable condition, I'd steer clear. Even at $.25, unwearable clothing doesn't do you any good. And as for the name brands that Fox 4 so wantonly teased? Good luck with finding those. I'll stick with my old faithfuls. read more

Came here after a news article, expecting to be blown away by amazing finds at ridiculously cheap prices. The latter = true. The former = not so much. Since it was a Saturday, you can imagine how many people were there. And since it was a Saturday (they get new stock on Wednesdays), the good stuff was pretty much picked through. But at $1.25 per item, it's definitely a bargain. My wife and I found a couple good things, but many items were too dirty or damaged. I will say that they have a ton of items and the children's section seems to be especially good, so it's probably a great place for families. I need to come back on a Wednesday, but wasn't super-impressed overall. read more

I'm not afraid to dig for treasures but this thrift store SUCKS. 95% of the merchandise is school/camp/vacation/family reunion shirts and ripped, stained, old garbage. This is all the stuff that thrift stores never sell. I found a few things but it wasn't worth the mass chaos. I'll likely never go back. read more

So, I read the reviews and I did not have the same experience. I had really good luck here. I love fun light weight jackets and oversized sweaters to wear with leggings. In Texas you do not need a heavy coat very often, but you really need an extra layer of something warm. And I want an extra layer that matches each an every outfit I have. Have you priced sweaters at full retail? I found about four really nice, one with the tag still on it, sweaters suitable for work and play for around $6 each. Score me! Thrift Giant has one good thing going for it--it gets its stuff from a warehouse, so they have bunches of locations and the clothes are spread across the various locations. Also, they are pressed and somewhat cleanish. This isn't garbage dropped off and just thrown on the floor. Someone has looked it over and tried to make it look more sell-able. i appreciate that. read more

I've been shopping at Thrift Giant since they opened and at first it was a great place to find good bargains on used clothing items. Do you still have these fabulous 50% off sale so you'd walk out of there with $50 worth of clothes for $5. Now they've turned into a place that pretends to be a bargain when in actuality they've marked the prices up so high that you're paying one or two dollars below retail for used clothing. They are also selling clothes that are ripped or stained beyond repair for seriously high prices. They used to be a reasonable alternative to St Vincent De Paul Thrift Store ( they also sell used clothes for sometimes above retail and pretend the proceeds are helping people). I am better off saving a few more pennies and shopping at the mall for NEW clothes than waste another dime on low-quality used clothes. Don't even get me started on the staff. If you do not speak Spanish good luck getting any help or information out of them. Last time I checked the patronage is a mixed crowd and politics aside, I would have thought it good business to have bilingual employees. My bad for thinking this was a good and sound business. Don't waste your time or money at this "thrift store". Buy new and save your wardrobe the heartache. read more

The store in general is amazing has plenty of everything for everyone, is kept well and organized however the cashiers are rude they won't greet nor are happy they seem to be very irritated. There's no manager on duty or at least that's what they told me. They need to have better people with friendly smile and a better attitude. read more

By far the best thrift store I've been to in a long time. Clothes are organized by size and type, and there are daily specials - certain color tags are 25% - 75% off. Seriously good selection of name brand items in like new condition. There are dressing rooms, too! I found a White House Black Market dress for $5.99! Shoes and housewares are also marked with color codes so everything in the store is on sale at some point. Definitely check it out if you're in the area. read more

So I will say I consider myself a pretty goodthrift finder. I literally went item by item in this store today and only walked out with a shirt. Nothing I couldn't live without but after all that work felt better leaving with something. Don't expect to see many if any name brands at this location. Don't shop by the size tag because a lot are incorrect. If you try something on be prepared to be bombarded with people knocking on the door asking if you are done yet. I did find one dress I would of purchased but not for the price they were asking. They do have discounts on certain color tags but the chances that you will find something you actually like and will also have a tag is slim. read more

I love this thrift store. If you love a good treasure hunt this is the place for you. .69 cent and .99 cent t-shirts yes please! There is also a section in the back where all the clothing with a hole punch through the tag is .25 cents. I got a Calvin Klein suit jacket for $1.99 and a 100% cashmere suit jacket for $1.99 as well. The worse thing about this place is the very weird loud spanish music that sounds like you are in a nightclub and also they announce over the intercom what color tags are on sale every 2 minutes it seems. But over all this is one of my favorite thrift stores. read more
