I frequent the Thrift Depot on 4th Street and happened to be in the area for the N.Hills location on Friday and stopped by. I was so excited to learn it was 50% off clothes! The gentleman at the register was friendly and conversational. The prices were amazing and it was organized by size (this shoots you up my top 10 list of thrift stores!!) I walked out with a Stanley cup for $1.80, are you joking?! What a day! I took a picture of the sales and these are the same for every location! This location is hit or miss. You can't go in expecting to find something in particular as their selection on things is pretty limited. Their pricing is how a thrift store should be and they even offer discounts on certain days/items. I wouldn't recommend if you are looking for a huge thrift haul, but if you are wanting to find a few good things here and there at a great price this is a great spot. I went in here over the weekend and was pleasantly surprised at the amount of stuff I got for the price, but I was a little put off because they don't have a dressing room and they don't take returns so you're kind of stuck with what you buy when it comes to clothing. Also, a number of the clothes were missing. Price tags, but because of the sale that day it was a good deal. I decided to take my mom in the next day as she had never been there. We were greeted by being told that the store was gonna close in a few minutes, but they don't even have their hours listed. We rushed along and me and my mom bought some of the same tops. I had bought the other day because as it turns out the original ones didn't fit. Then when we go up to the counter, the tall older gentleman behind the counter greeted us rather rudely. I don't know if he had some type of facial tick or if he just looks like everybody pisses him off but he starts calling out seven to every item of clothing. When I questioned him about the prize, he said that was because they do 50% off on everything on the weekend but today it was only a certain sticker item. Considering they don't even have stickers on their items. I also found that to be ridiculous, but what really pissed me off. Was the fact that. Even if they weren't 50% off, he was quoting us a completely different price for the original price , I got the other day when I asked how much they were. I guess they just price it however they feel and it depends on who's working that day. I'm surprised this is supposed to be a gospel thrift store because this guy belongs working in a pawn shop with his attitude and deceiving his customers. I will pray for your lying thieving ass and what could've been two return customers Won't be anymore. I ended up overpaying for your clothing and buying my mom's as well but the more I thought about it the more I wish I would have pushed the matter that he was charging more than his other employee was the day before even without the discount but I didn't want to make my mom feel uncomfortable as he was doing that already. read more

It is 1219pm June 17, my husband and I walked in and looked around to find a white bassinet by the door it looked amazing and super clean. However to my surprise it's broken(the end of where the child's head would lay or feet is broken, check yourself) , they are selling something that could potentially hurt or kill an infant!! DO NOT GO HERE ITS EVIDENT THEY DO NOT INSPECT THEIR ITEMS AT ALL FOR COSTUMERS SAFETY!! The bassinet is located inside the store near the front doors as you face the check out cashier station from the door on your right side. THEY PRICED IT AT 30 dollars expecting someone to buy a broken bassinet for a freaking baby!! The audacity is vile. Gospel thrift ya right. STRAIT HAZARDOUS/DANGEROUS NEVER COMING HERE EVER AGAIN. IF I COULD GIVE A NEGATIVE STAR RATING I WOULD IN A HEART BEAT! read more

Great place to find extra unaffordable items , staff very nice but need to have bathroom available for customers

They say they are some kind of Christian Store? You see i lost all my belongings in a fire. So I'm trying to get clothes I have 3 pairs of shorts a couple tank tops you can imagine my frustration. So I went to there Store I found a pair of pants and 2 shirts I was one dollars shy I asked if I could get all 3 items for 9 dollar's please his response nope. Are you serious? That stuff is all donated and even of it wasn't you can't help another person out? I will never go in there again. They need to read the Bible that is not how God is. Shame on you sir.. read more

This is my favorite place to go every once in a week. The prices of their items are very cheap and reasonable and the good thing I like in this store they always have a sale! I got our coffee table, lamps and most of the time this is where I get the stuff I need for decorating our house! I love how friendly the people that works here. They are awesome! read more

Lately this is the rating. Store is beginning to go downhill for the last 2-3 months. Prices were very reasonable but not so much anymore. Their 30% off bric-a-brac turned into 20% off. Their 50% off clothing sales are reduced too. Can still find a few deals but need to visit 2-3x more than before due to higher prices. They've been pricing the pants so high it's not been worth it to stop by. Friendly, nice people work there. Good hours but overall, we skip it more than not due to sudden increase in prices the last few months. Otherwise we used to buy. more and visit 1-2x a week. read more

I bring my Grandma here about once or twice a month as she lives out by stead and this is really the only thrift store in the area. It is also my favorite store in reno! It is SO clean and organized- it doesn't make me feel like bathing in bleach when I leave, which is really something! We also always find something and the staff is just wonderful! They have a new (ish?) manager and she is so sweet and helpful. My only negative is that the store is fairly small compared to other thrift shops and they like to keep it well stocked (which is great), though sometimes it does mean things are a little tight. I almost always manage to find something here and if I don't I just wait and come back in a week or so. My kid loves going here and honestly we've built up quite a family game library because of this place. My wife has found numerous pairs of shoes and I've found hats and various toys for my kid and knick knacks for the house. The owner and people that work here are always very nice too and will 'bend' on some prices. I've donated clothes, toys and all kinds of stuff to them and they're always very appreciative. read more

Went here for the first time yesterday. It was a great experience. I was warmly greeted as soon as I walked in the door. The store is nicely laid out and they have a great selection of items. I found some great clothes for kids including a few designer brands that I couldn't live without. read more

I've been a couple times and was impressed by how clean and organized the place was. It seems this is the only thrift in the area, so perhaps not worth a special trip out here when you can hit so many in a row on Oddie Blvd. or the greater Meadowood mall area. Prices were a little higher than I hoped and I didn't find much of interest, but cleanliness and organization go a long way in the thrift biz. Like my experiences at the Kietzke/Gentry store, the staff, while friendly are rough around the edges. Both times I've been they had ongoing conversations with girlfriends either visiting or on the phone. read more

This store isn't even worthy of a star. When I was walking around I had to watch my step because there was so much stuff on the floor from an employee unpacking boxes from their storage closet. I managed to find something worth buying only to get irritated cuz there were 3 people behind the register but only one was working. The other two were talking about the females' love life and the fact that she was off in ten minutes. There were three people in front of me and I waited five minutes and still 2 people in front of me, and two people standing behind the register talking. I set my stuff down and left. read more
